Charging

Your DBM-1 built in battery should last 50+ hours on a single charge.
In order to increase the battery’s lifetime, avoid charging until battery is below 20% charge. We recommend charging once a month with normal weekly use.
When charging, the LED indicator will show a red light near the USB port. Once fully charged, the LED will turn green.
Charging the pedal with an electrical outlet will take approximately 3 hours reach a 100-percent charge.
Charging the pedal with a computer via USB will take approximately 7 hours reach a 100-percent charge.
When the Bluetooth Music Pedal is going to be used far from home or any possible power source, we recommend charging until it reaches full capacity.

Reconnected State

If the DBM-1 gets out of the connectivity range of 10 meters, the pedal will automatically disconnect and the Reconnected State will engage. The LED indicator will flash rapidly for 10 seconds and its color will correspond to the battery power levels.

Once the pedal gets back to the reception range of 10 meter, the Bluetooth connectivity will detect it and auto-connect. This process will be announced through LED flashes every 2 seconds.

Sleep Function

In order to save power, the DBM-1 will activate the Sleep function after 25 minutes of inactivity. To use again, simply press down either of the pedals and the BT2 will awake from Sleep mode and be ready to operate again.

Virtual Keyboard Function

Because the DBM-1 operates as a “keyboard”, your device will not automatically activate its built-in keyboard function when the DBM-1 is connected. So if you need to make notes within your sheet music app or use another function that requires keyboard abilities while the DBM-1 is connected, you will need to activate Virtual Keyboard Function. To activate the built-in Virtual Keyboard function, hold down both left and right pedals at the same time until the keyboard shows up on the screen of the host device.

To deactivate the function, both pedals must be pressed down again or select the appropriate keyboard minimizing option on your device. Please note that not all apps will respond to this feature and you may need to disconnect the DBM-1 to utilize your device’s virtual keyboard.
