SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Read the instruction manual carefully before first use and keep it for future reference.
Producer is not responsible for damages caused by inappropriate handling and use of the device.

The lightning flash with the arrowhead symbol, within an equilateral triangle, is indicated to alert the user to the presence of uninsulated, dangerous voltage, within the product enclosure that may be of sufficient magnitude to constitute a risk of electric shock to persons.

The exclamation point within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert the user to the presence of important operation and maintenance (servicing) instructions in the literature accompanying the appliance.

  • Before connecting the device to the power supply socket, make sure the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to the voltage in the power supply socket.

  • Make sure to place this device on a flat, dry, and stable surface.

  • Protect this device from moisture, humidity, water, and any other liquid. Avoid using/ storing it in extreme temperatures. Do not expose it to direct sunlight and sources
    of heat.

  • The product is suitable for indoor use only.

  • Disconnect the device from the power supply if it is not going to be used for a long time.

  • Protect the power cord from harp edges and other factors which could lead to its damage.

  • When you disconnect the power cord of the device, grasp and pull the plug, not the cord/cable.

  • Place the device in a properly ventilated place.

  • Do not block or cover slots, holes, or openings on the product by placing on soft furnishings such as carpets, rugs, or beds as these are provided for functionality and/ or ventilation to ensure safe operation of the product.

  • Do not place heavy objects on the device.

  • Do not use this device if it has been damaged or its operation is abnormal.

  •  Do not attempt to repair this device yourself. In case of damage, contact an authorized service point for a check-up/repair.

  • This appliance may be used by children who are above 8 years old and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
    knowledge if they are supervised and guided by a person who is responsible for their safety in a cautious manner, and all the safety precautions are understood and
    followed. Children should not play with this device. Children should not perform cleaning and servicing of the device unsupervised.

  • Fixed power cable may only be replaced at an authorized service point.

  • ALWAYS disconnect this device from the power supply mains before cleaning.

PROGRAMMING TV CONTROL BUTTONS

  1. Place the tuner remote and the TV remote towards each other, at around 4 cm.
  2. Press and hold the SET button, until the red LED glows stronger.
  3. On the tuner remote, press one of the programmable buttons (placed in TV CONTROL frame)
  4.  Press the corresponding button on the TV remote a couple of times.
  5.  After successful paring, the red LED will flash twice.
  6. Press the SET button to exit pairing mode.
  7. The function is assigned to the button. If the button doesn’t work, try repeating the steps above.

CONNECTING TO THE TV

» To get standard resolution, connect the device to the TV with a SCART cable.
» To get high resolution, connect the device to the TV with HDMI cable.

INSTALLATION OF BATTERIES

  1. Open the battery compartment.
  2. Insert 2x AAA batteries with correct polarization (+/-).
  3. Close the battery compartment.

Notes:

  • Do not mix the batteries.
  • Remove the batteries if the remote control is not going to be used for an extended period of time.
  • Do not place the remote control under direct sunlight or near sources of excessive heat.
  • Point the remote control to the unit no more than 8 meters from the remote control sensor and within 30° horizontally and 30° vertically of the front of the unit.

OPERATION

  1. Press the MENU button to enter the main menu screen.
  2. Use navigation buttons to navigate the menu and adjust the settings.
  3. Press the MENU button to return to the previous menu or press the EXIT button to quit the menu screen.

QUICK INSTALLATION

If the receiver is being powered on for the first time or factory settings were restored, the welcome screen will appear on the TV screen.

» Region: Select a country.
» Language: Select language.
» Display Mode: Select a screen resolution.
» Aspect Mode: Select aspect ratio of the screen.
» OK: Press OK to start automatic channel scan.

INSTALLATION

» Auto Channels Scan: Automatic searching and saving available TV channels.
» Manual Channels Scan: Manual searching for TV channels. You can search the channel by number or frequency. When you choose the desired options, press Search to start searching.
» LCN (Logical Channel Number): Choose this option, if you want to sort the channels according to their logical channel number.

CHANNEL MENU

TV Channel List: Editing channel lists by locking, deleting, skipping, moving channels, and creating favorite channel lists.

To preview the channel, select it and press OK.

  1. Adding a channel to favorites
    » Select a channel and press the FAV button on the remote control. Press the OK button to display lists of favorites.
    » Choose the list and press the OK button. Then press the EXIT button to confirm changes. The selected channel will be saved in that list (it is now marked with a heart
    icon).
    » Use left and right buttons on the remote control to switch between channel lists. To delete a channel from the favorite list, select the channel, press the FAV button and
    then press the OK button. The favorite channel list will be displayed. Press the OK button again. Exit the menu to confirm the changes. The channel will be deleted from the favorite list.

  2. Locking channel
    Select a channel and press the red button on the remote control. Press the OK button and input the default password 0000. The channel will be marked with a lock icon. Press the EXIT button to confirm changes. The selected channel will be locked. If you want to unlock the channel, select this channel, press the red button, and press OK to enter the password

  3. Skip channel
    Select a channel and press the green button. Press the OK button. The channel will be marked with an arrow icon. Press the EXIT button to confirm changes. The selected
    channel will be skipped during switching channels. To disable skipping, select this channel, press the green button and confirm by pressing the OK button.

  4. Moving channel
    Select a channel and press the yellow button. Press the OK button. The channel will be marked with an icon. Use the up and down buttons on the remote to move the channel, press the OK button. To confirm the new position for the channel, press the EXIT button.
    Note: If you want to move channels to a new position, the LCN option should be OFF.

  5. Editing channels
    Select a channel and press the blue button. New options will appear:
    » Sort: Press the red button and select sorting method.
    » Edit: Press the green button, then the OK button. Now you can change the name of the channel. Press the yellow button to confirm.
    » Delete: Press the blue button, then the OK button. The channel will be marked with an X icon. Press the EXIT button to confirm changes.

Radio Channel List: Edits the Radio Channel List.
Delete All: Opens a warning window. If you choose Yes, all channels will be deleted.

TOOLS

Information
Displays information about the device.

Factory Settings
Deletes channels and user settings.

Upgrade by USB
Copy the latest firmware to a USB stick. Do not rename the file of firmware and do not put it into a folder. In standby mode, insert the USB stick to the USB port of the receiver and press the Standby button on the remote control. The message “USB Disk A Connected” will appear on the TV screen. Press Menu, then Tools, select Upgrade by USB and press the OK button. In this window select Upgrade Mode “AIlCode”. At the option below “Upgrade File”, choose the latest firmware that is copied to the USB stick. Below, there is the option Start. Press OK and the upgrade process will start. After a few seconds, the process will be completed and the receiver will restart automatically.

After the upgrade, confirm the version of the new firmware by going to the Information menu.

Note: If the upgrade process does not start, use a USB stick in FAT32 format.

Auto Standby
Set after what time the receiver will automatically enter the Standby Mode.

Network
» Network Setting: choose Ethernet of WiFi. After selecting the WiFi option, a network list will be displayed (required USB WiFi card).
» Settings: change the network settings.
» Network application: weather app available (Internet connection required).

SYSTEM SETUP

Language: Select the language of the menu, first and second audio, and Teletext.

TV System
» Video Resolution: Select resolution of the TV. If you are using the HDMI connection, the default is 1080i_ 25. If you are using the SCART connection, the default value is
576i.
» Aspect Mode: Select aspect ratio of the TV.
» Digital Audio Output: Available options: BS Out or LPCM Out. The default value is LPCM Out.

Display settings:

» Brightness (default value is 50)
» Contrast (default value is 50)
» Saturation (default value is 50)
» Hue (default value is 50)
» Sharpness (default value is 5)

Local time setting
» Region: Select your country.
» GMT Usage: Set to “By Region” if you want to use GMT and set the time automatically.
Set to “User Define” if you want to set the time zone manually, or set to “Off” if you want to set the date and time manually. The default value is “By Region”.
» GMT Offset: Set the time zone (only if “GMT Usage” is set to “User Defined”).
» Date: Set the date (only if “GMT Usage” is set to “Off”).
» Time: Set the time (only if “GMT Usage is set to “Off”).

Timer Setting
» Timer Mode: Set the time interval: Once, Daily or Off.
» Timer Service: When it is set to PVR, the receiver will switch to the preset channel, at preset date
» and time and start recording the program. When is set to Channel, the receiver will switch to the preset channel at the preset date and time.
» Wake up channel: Set the channel.
» Wake update: Set the date.
» On Time: Set the start time.
» Duration: Set the duration of displaying or recording a channel.

Note: It is also possible to set the Timer from the EPG menu (see EPG section).

Parental lock (Some firmware versions do not support this function)
» Menu Lock: When this is enabled, the access to channel edition and searching menu, will be protected by a password. The default value is Off.
» Rating Lock: Set the age.
» New Password: Enter a new password.
» Confirm Password: Confirm the new password.

Note: Default Password is 0000. In case of forgetting the set password, input code 1006 to access the parental lock menu.

OSD Setting
» OSD Timeout: Select the duration of displaying Info bar, from 1 to 10 seconds. The default value is 5.
» OSD Transparency: Set the OSD transparency to Off, or from 10% to 40%. The default value is Off.

Favorite
Press OK on a Favorite Group to rename the Favorite Channels List.

Other
» Antenna power: Set to ON if you have an active antenna without a power adapter.
Set to OFF if you have a passive antenna or active antenna with a power adapter. The default value is OFF.
» Channel Play Type: Available options: Scrambled, All and Free. The default value is All.
» Beeper: The default value is Off.
» AD Service: The default value is Off.
» Use AD as default: It is activated when the AD Service is On.
» AD Volume Offset: It is activated when the AD Service is On.
» After Power Stop: This allows you to choose the action of the receiver at a sudden power stop. The default value is Restart to Last Channel

MEDIA PLAYER/PVR

PVR
» Switch: Press 1 on the remote control to switch between the PVR, Music, Image, and Video.
» Sort: Press 2 on the remote control to sort the channels by name, time, size, and favorite. The option Sort is activated in Music, Image, and Video.
» Repeat: Press 3 on the remote control to select the repeat options. This option is activated in Music and Video.
» Setup: Press 3 on the remote control to set the Slide Show Time and Slide Show Repeat. This option is activated in Image.
» MultiView: Press 4 on the remote control to display the grid view of pictures. This option is activated in Image.
» Playlist: Press the RED button on the remote control. The picture and video will be put into the playlist. This option is activated in Image and Music.
» FAV: Press the OK button to set the favorite media files. This option is activated in Image and Music.
» FAV All: Display all favorite media list. This option is activated in Image and Music.
» Edit: Press the Blue button to edit the name of the media.

Note: When watching a video with subtitles from a USB drive, it is possible to change the settings of subtitles by pressing the green button.

PVR Storage Information
Displays information about the USB drive.

PVR Settings
» Timeshift: The default value is OFF.
» Jump: Available options are: 30 sec, 1 min, 5 min, 10 min, or 30 min.
» Timeshift to Record: It allows to record timeshift video.

Remove USB device safely
Select the connected USB drive and press the OK button to safely remove the USB drive.

TIMESHIFT

Timeshift function allows to stop and rewind TV programs if the USB drive is connected to the USB port of the device.

  1. Make sure the USB drive is connected to the device.
  2. Enter PVR Settings and turn ON the Timeshift function
  3.  Press the PAUSE button on the remote control to stop the program.
  4. Control playback with the buttons on the remote control:
    » Press left and right arrows to choose a starting point of playback, then confirm by pressing the OK button.
    » Press PAUSE to pause playback.
    » Press REV and FWD to rewind or fast-forward playback.
    » Press STOP to stop timeshift and continue to watch the program.

Notes:

» It is recommended to use USB drive in 2.0 standard. USB drives with low parameters may not be compatible with the device.
» Large-capacity USB drives may require an external power supply.

RECORDING

  1. Make sure the USB drive is connected to the device.
  2. While watching a program, press the REC button on the remote control to start recording (press the REC button twice to change the default recording time).
  3. To stop the recording, press the STOP button on the remote control. A confirmation window will appear. Select [OK] to stop recording or [NO] to continue recording.
  4. Recordings will be saved on the USB drive and are available in the Media Player.

Note: Use the Timer function or EPG to schedule a recording.

EPG (ELECTRONIC PROGRAM GUIDE)

  1. Press the EPG button on the remote control to enter Electronic Program Guide.
  2. Use direction buttons on the remote control to navigate the menu.
  3. Press the Timer button to enter the PVR schedule menu.

TROUBLESHOOTING
