40mm high definition drivers

How does the sound of the m1mkii differ from the original m1?
Yes, these are improved in the sound quality. According to what HI-FI (from teh UK) there is, “more precision, greater clarity, and a larger sense of space”. Thay also mention, “The weighty bass is more taut and better defined than before”. They gave it their 2015 Best portable on-ear headphones in it’s price range 100 to 200 pounds
Will these headphones work with just a standard cd player with a 1/8 inch
jack? Will the mic feature interfere?
You can use it on any device with the appropriate receptacle plug or with an adapter. The microphone lead can be substituted with a standard 3.5 lead which some people claim improves the sound. I think there are more important variables in the quality of your music than the wire in the microphone but its certainly something you can try for not a lot of outlay by upgrading to an aftermarket cable
Is it working with android phones (s7 edge)?
According to specs, it looks like it does. I used mine with my desktop computer.
Do these come with any kind of carrying case or pouch?
Hi ! Yes as far as I know it comes with a soft pouch. But I would take the opportunity of your question to advise not to order these headphones….they will be broken in 6 months du to a default in conception. Philips know about it which is why they don’t produce them!
What about the comfort of these headphones while wearing glasses?
I wear glasses and find these headphones entirely comfortable. They are ON the ear, not AROUND the ear, thus no problem with the glasses at all.
How long is the cord for the earphone jack
Around 46″ (116cm). The specs say it’s 110cm, but I believe they’re living the plugs off that measure. Anyway, the cable is detachable, so if you can get hold of an 1/8″-plug-male-to-1/8″-plug-female-cable, you can easily change it to whatever measure suits your need best.
How would these compare to the audio-Technica at-pro700mk2 or the bose sound
true headphones?
I haven’t compared against those particular models, but I did definitely prefer the Philips sound to that of any of the Audio-Technica or Bose I have tried. AT is too heavy in the low and Bose is too heavy in the high.
The headband looks somewhat long; do they fit smaller heads?
As a user with a somewhat less than normal-sized head I can answer with yes; it is actually more comfortable if you extend them to the lower portion of your ear.
Does it work with iPhone?
Flawlessly. Currently using iPhone 6 Plus.
