Intended purpose
The professional food processor is used to mix, whisk, beat, stir, knead, and
blend food. These user instructions describe the basic functions. There are
also some example rec-ipes for reference in the online user instruc-tions. The
device is designed for private, domestic use. The device must only be used
indoors. This device must not be used for commercial purposes.

Disconnect the mains plug from the wall socket …
when it is not supervised,
before you assemble or disassemble the device
before changing accessories or attachments, and
before cleaning. -
This device is not intended to be operated using an external timer or a separate remote control system.

The device is designed for the following maximum continuous oper- ating times, depending on use:
max. 10 minutes of stirring/kneading with the mixing tools,
max. 3 minutes of mixing in the blender jug,
max. 30 seconds at maximum capacity (stirring/kneading and mixing simultaneously at maximum capacity).
Afterwards the device must remain switched off until it has cooled down to room temperature. -
The device must be disconnected from the mains if left unattended and prior to assembly, disassembly or cleaning.

Please remember that the blades of the blade assembly are very sharp:
Never touch the blades with your bare hands in order to avoid cuts.
When washing manually, the water should be sufficiently clear so that you can see the blade assembly easily to avoid injuries caused by the very sharp blades.
When emptying the blender jug, ensure not to touch the blades of the blade assembly.
When removing and inserting the blade assembly ensure not to touch the blades.
When removing and fitting the seal for the blade assembly, be careful not to injure yourself on the blades. -
Prior to the replacement of accessories or attachments which move when in operation, the device must be switched off and disconnect-ed from the mains.

Packing materials are not children’s toys. Children should not be allowed to play with the plastic bags. There is a risk of suffocation.

Electrical devices can represent a dan- ger to pets and livestock. In addition, animals can also cause damage to the device. For this reason you should keep animals away from electrical devices at all times.

The device must never be operated in Bthe vicinity of a bathtub, a shower, a filled washbasin or similar items.
-
The base unit, the power cable and the mains plug must not be immersed in wa-ter or other liquids.
-
Protect the base unit against moisture, water drips and splashes.
-
If liquid should enter the base unit, pull out the mains plug immediately. Have the device checked before reusing.
-
Never touch the device with wet hands.
-
If the device falls into water, disconnect the mains plug immediately. Only then is it safe to remove the device.
-
Only plug the mains plug into the wall socket after the device has been com-pletely assembled.
-
Only connect the mains plug to a prop- erly installed and easily accessible wall socket whose voltage corresponds to the specifications on the rating plate. The wall socket must still be easily accessible after the device is plugged in.

Ensure that the power cable cannot be damaged by sharp edges or hot spots. Do not wrap the power cable around the device.
-
Even after it has been switched off, the device is not completely disconnected from the mains. In order to fully discon-nect it, pull out the mains plug.
-
Keep the power cable away from hot surfaces (e.g. hot plates).
-
When using the device, ensure that the power cable cannot be trapped or crushed.
-
When removing the mains plug from the wall socket, always pull on the plug and never the cable.
-
Disconnect the mains plug from the wall socket … if there is a fault, when you are not using the food pro- cessor, prior to assembling or disassembling the food processor, prior to cleaning the food processor … during thunderstorms.

Do not use the device if there is visible damage to the device, accessories or power cable.
-
In order to avoid any hazards, do not make modifications to the device.
-
Never reach into the rotating blades. Do not touch rotating parts with spoons or similar utensils. Keep long hair and loose clothing away from the rotating parts. Please remember that the blades continue to turn for a short time after switching off the device.
-
Please remember that the blades of the blade assembly are very sharp. Never touch the blades with your bare hands in order to avoid cuts.

Never put your hands between the drive arm and the housing. There is a risk of injury from crushing when folding down.

Do not touch rotating parts with spoons or similar utensils. Keep long hair and loose clothing away from the rotating parts.

Always ensure that the speed control is set to 0 before you plug the mains plug into the wall socket.

Switch the device off and pull out the mains plug from the wall socket before you exchange auxiliary or additional equipment moving in operation.
-
When the blender jug is not attached, the cover must be mounted. Otherwise the device will not work, in order to avoid in-juries.
-
Place the device exclusively on a level, dry, non-slip and waterproof surface, so that it can neither fall nor slip off.
-
The mixing mechanism must not be op- erated continuously for longer than 10 minutes, or the blender for longer than 3 minutes. You must then allow the device to cool down to room tempera-ture.
-
The device must never be operated with- out the jug.
-
Never place the device on a hot sur-face, e.g. a hot plate.
-
Do not change the position of the de- vice, as long as there is still food ordough in the device.
-
Never overfill the blender jug or mixing bowl, since otherwise the contents could be ejected. Overflowing liquid would flow onto the surface. You should there-fore place the device on a waterproof surface.
-
Do not operate the device when it is empty, as this causes the motor to over-heat and may result in it becoming dam-aged.
-
Never fill the blender jug with hot or boiling material.
-
Only use the original accessories.
-
Do not use any astringent or abrasive cleaning agents.
-
The beater and dough hook have a non- stick coating. Do not damage them with sharp, pointed or scratching objects (e.g. knife, pot sponge).
-
The device is equipped with non-slip plas- tic suction feet. As furniture is coated with a wide array of varnishes and plastics and is also treated with different care products, it cannot be fully ruled out that some of these materials contain ingredi-ents that could attack and soften the non-slip plastic suction feet. If necessary, place a non-slip mat under the device.
Using the mixing tools
Lifting up the drive arm

Press the unlock button 11 and fold up the drive arm 19.
Inserting the mixing bowl -
Put the mixing bowl 16 into the base unit 17.

Lock the mixing bowl 16.
Mounting the splash guard -
Place the splash guard 18 on the drive arm 19 from below and turn it until it clicks into place.
Inserting the mixing tool -
Select the appropriate mixing tool:
Dough hook 22: for heavy batter
Whisk 21: for whipping
Beater 20: for medium to light batter -
Place the mixing tool 20/21/22 onto the axle 23 from below.
Adding ingredients
You can add ingredients into the mixing bowl 16 while the drive arm 19 is
lift-ed up.
Lowering the drive arm
DANGER of hand injuries by crushing!
Never put your hands between the drive arm and the housing. There is a risk of
injury from crushing when folding down.
- Press the unlock button 11 and move the drive arm 19 all the way down.
Using the blender jug
DANGER! Risk of injury from cutting!
- Please remember that the blades of the blade assembly 7 are very sharp.
Using and removing the blade assembly
The blender jug 5 must never be used with-out the blade assembly 7, since the blade assembly 7 seals the blender jug 5 on the bottom. n order to remove the blade assembly 7, proceed as follows:
- Turn the blender jug 5 upside down.
- Turn the blade assembly 7 clockwise at the two handles 25 until the knife as-sembly comes loose.
- Pull out the blade assembly 7 carefully.
In order to insert the blade assembly 7, pro-ceed as follows:
- Turn the blender jug 5 upside down.
- Place the blade assembly 7 carefully into the blender jug 5.
- Turn it anticlockwise at the two han- dles 25 until it stops.
Note that the lower ridges 26 at the base of the blade assembly 7 must en-gage under the upper ridges 27 in the blender jug 5. Check that it is secure.
Mounting the blender jug

Reach into the recessed grip and re-move the cover 8 upwards.

Position the blender jug 5 on the drive unit 9 so that the white arrow () on the bottom of the blender jug points to the open lock symbol.

Turn the blender jug 5 clockwise until it is firmly in place. The white arrow () now points to the closed lock symbol.
Adding ingredients
- First add the liquid ingredients to the blender jug 5, and then the solid ones.
- Cut the solid ingredients into small piec-es in advance, so that the pieces do not get jammed in the blades.
- During blending, you can add ingredi-ents through the refill opening 3 in the lid 2.
Mounting the lid
NOTES:
- For safety reasons, the blending process will only start when the lid 2 is correctly mounted
- To make it a little easier to close the lid 2, place a few drops of cooking oil onto a cloth and rub it over the seal 4.

Place the lid 2 slightly distorted onto the blender jug 5.

Rotate the lid 2 clockwise until it stops. The device is now fully assembled.
Basic operation
Functions only when correctly assemble
The device only works when it is correctly as-sembled and the drive arm is
lowered and clicked into place.
Overheating protection
The device has an overheating protection system. If the motor becomes too
hot, the de-vice automatically switches itself off.
Switching the device on/off and selecting speed:
- Switch the device on by turning the speed control 12 to the right.
- Start at a slightly lower speed, and slowly increase to the desired speed.
- Reduce the speed to 1 – 2 when you are adding ingredients during operation through the filling opening 10 or the re-fill opening 3.
- Set the speed control 12 to 0 to switch the device off.
Turbo button
- By pressing the Turbo button 13 you can briefly increase the speed to the highest setting (10).

Disassembly is described in detail in the on-line instructions.
Cleaning
Disconnect the mains plug 14 from the wall socket before each cleaning. Never immerse the base unit 17 in water. For additional information on clean-ing and looking after the device and accessories, please see the online user instructions.
Disposal
Packaging and device must be disposed of according to the environmental
regulations of your country.
