IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

  1. Read all instructions carefully.
  2. Check the product’s rating label and make sure the water urn voltage is fit for your outlet voltage before using.
  3. The plug should be connected to the earth block.
  4. Do not use the water boiler if the cord or plug is damaged.
  5. If the water boiler malfunctions or is damaged, please return the boiler to the place of purchase together with a valid proof of purchase.
  6. Switch off the appliance before removing the plug.
  7. Always switch off before attempting to move the water urn.
  8. Grasp the plug when removing it. Do not pull the cord.
  9. Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of table.
  10. Place the water boiler securely at the center of a table.
  11. Do not switch on the water boiler if the water tank is empty. Always fill with water first.
  12. Do not place the water boiler near gas cooker, electric burner or heated oven.
  13. In case of accident, switch off the appliance immediately, put the water boiler on flat stable surface; keep it away from the table edge. The appliance has to be placed in a horizontal position.
  14. Power cord and plug can not touch water in the case of leakaging.
  15. Please remove the plug from outlet, and cool off the appliance before cleaning.
  16. Press on the Switch Off button and remove the plug after using.
  17. Do not use the water boiler outdoors. The use of places: household, restaurant, hotel, etc.
  18. The appliances require 13 Amp plug.
  19. The appliance is only to be installed in locations where it can be overseen by trained personnel.
  20. The appliance incorporates a non-self-resetting thermal cut-out.

SAFTY WARNING

  1. The surface of the water boiler gets very hot during use. Do not touch the surface.
  2. Do not remove the lid while boiling.
  3. Position the lid so that steam is directed away from the handle.
  4. If the appliance is overfilled, boiling water may be ejected.
  5. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a qualified person in order to avoid any hazards.
  6. This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as: staff kitchen areas in working environments; Farm houses; hotels, hostels, bed and breakfast or other residential type environments; Cafes and restaurants;
  7. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
  8. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

INSTRUCTION FOR USE

  1. Open the lid and pour in water. Make sure the water is below the” FULL” water level indicator.
  2. Connect the plug to the power outlet.
  3. Press the “ON” button and then press “SET” for choosing 60-80-100degrees, the pilot lamp will turn to red and start to heat. The display board shows the temperature of water. The pilot lamp will turn to yellow when the water reaches setting temperature.
  4. Unit automatically maintain the setting temperature after down about 15 degrees.
  5. The time taken to reach the boiling temperature will be depended on the volume of water in the appliance and the temperature of the water when the appliance was switched on.
  6. In all cases it will be necessary to regularly check the water level to ensure that this appliance does not burn out. We recommend you to turn the appliance off when there are less than three cups of water inside.
  7. To turn off the appliance, press” ON/OFF” switch again and unplug the appliance from the electric outlet.

BOIL-DRY PROTCTION

Always make sure there is a sufficient and safe level of water in the appliance when in use to avoid any damage to the water urn. This water Boiler has preventing boil dry function, when appliance burn out, this function will be active automatically and the fuse of the heating element will cut off automatically, which can avoid the appliance being burned out. If the safety cut off activates, please switch the appliance off from the mains and do not use until inspected by a person qualified to do so.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  1. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
    a) Always rinse the water boiler with hot water before use.
    b) Be sure to unplug the unit, pour out any remaining water, and cool off before cleaning.
    c) Do not immerse the appliance in water.
    d) Add small quantity of hot water, brush sides, and rinse with hot water until it runs clean.
    e) Remove the lid before cleaning.
    f) Use a soft cloth to wipe the water boiler body. Do not use abrasive materials to avoid scratching.
    g) This unit must not be cleaned by water jet.
    h) Follow this cleaning and maintenance process regularly on daily routine together with regular
    descaling process to avoid limescale build up which might reduce the lifetime of the appliance.

  2. DISCOLORING OF THE WATER TANK
    The ferric oxide of running water can lead to discolor. It can be removed by following steps:
    a) Cut a lemon into four, wrap the lemon in cloth and place in the water tank.
    b) Pour water up to the “Full” water level indicator.
    c) Boil the water and make sure the mixture remains inside the unit for about one hour.
    d) Pour out the water and use a nylon brush to scrub the water tank.
    e) To remove the smell of the lemon, boil water again and dispose of the water.
