AVENTON LEVEL Electric Bike
GETTING STARTED
Press and hold the “M” button on the handlebar controls to turn on the display. Now, your bike is ready to ride. To turn off, press and hold “M” for 3 seconds. The Level e-bike offers pedal assist. When using pedal assist, an electric motor supplements the rider’s own effort. To use the pedal assist, simply start pedaling, then tap the “U” or “D” arrows to increase or decrease the amount of pedal assist. Pedal-assist will engage at speeds up to 28 MPH. The Level bike is equipped with a throttle, which is mounted near the rider’s left thumb, to propel the bike without pedaling. You can engage the throttle anytime including from a complete stop while in PAS 1 through 5. However, we strongly encourage you to pedal first before engaging the throttle. The throttle can propel you at speeds up to 20 MPH. The motor stops when you: stop pedaling, squeeze the brake levers, or release the throttle. Simply start pedaling again to re-engage the motor.
BATTERY AND CHARGING
We recommend charging the battery indoors, in moderate temperature conditions.
You can change the Level battery both on and off the bike. To charge the
battery, plug the charger into the charging port and then connect the charger
to a wall outlet. The LED indicator light will be red when charging and will
turn green when charging is complete.

FAQ’S
What is the difference between Aventon and Aventon level?
The Aventon and the Level are the same bike, but with different battery. The Aventon has a 36V 11.6Ah battery and the Level has a 36V 10.4Ah battery.
How long does it take to charge?
Charging time is about 3-4 hours for a full charge using the standard charger that comes with your bike.
How far can I go on one charge?
Depending on your mode of pedal assist (PAS) you can go anywhere from 30-60 miles on one charge, depending on how much you use the throttle, which adds to your range. If you are not using any pedal assist, you can go about 20 miles on one charge.
What is pedal assist?
Pedal assist allows you to turn your bike into an electric hybrid by giving you power as you pedal, making it easier to ride up hills or carry heavy loads. It also helps make pedaling feel more natural when riding an ebike since it mimics what it feels like to ride a traditional bike.
What is throttle override?
Throttle override allows you to use your throttle without having to use any pedal assist at all if you want to go faster than 20mph or if you just want to have fun! You can use throttle override anytime including from a complete stop while in PAS 1 through 5. However, we strongly encourage you to pedal first before engaging the throttle. The throttle can propel you at speeds up to 20 MPH without any assistance from pedal assist! Please note that if you engage both PAS and Throttle Override at once, PAS will take priority over Throttle Override until PAS is turned off or until Throttle Override speed is reached (20 MPH).
What size should I get?
We recommend choosing the size that fits most riders between 5’2″ – 6’3″ tall and 100 – 300 lbs in weight depending on how much gear they plan on carrying with them (battery weight included). If someone is outside of those parameters they may still be able to fit on one of our bikes but may not be able to
