DESCRIPTION
USE
Using for the first time
The first time the toaster is used it may emit some fumes. This is completely
normal and soon stops. For th is reason, use the toaster without bread for the
first time. After this the toaster can be used as normal.
Use
-
Plug the toaster into a powerpoint.
-
Put the bread in the toasting slots. Up to four slices of bread can be toasted at once. The toaster has two separate units, which can be used together or separately.
NOTE:
Check that the crumb trays are properly inserted before use. -
Turn the knob to the required toasting setting. Low setting (position 1) gives light toasting, high setting (position 7) gives darker toasting. The middle setting gives a golden brown toasting.
NOTE:
One slice is toasted more that two slices with the same setting. If the toaster is used continuously the following slices are toasted more than the first with the same setting. -
Pull the toasting slot handle down until the status lamp on the O button goes on. When the bread has toasted to the set toasting setting the handle comes up automatically. You can pull up the handle a little to more easily take out the bread.
NOTE: The toasting only starts when the handle is pulled all the way down. -
Keep an eye on the toasting. Press the O button to stop the toasting.
-
Press the* button if the bread is frozen. The corresponding status lamp comes on and the bread is toasted to the set toasting setting.
-
Press the button to warm up cold toast. The corresponding status lamp comes on. The bread is warmed for a set time, after which the handle comes up and the warming stops.
