User Guide

The Winegard RV Halo Motion Safety Switch (MSS) is used in conjunction with the RV Halo Voice Control System to safely control slide-outs via voice control. Once a voice command has been issued, the RV Halo Voice system continuously sends a command telling the slide-out to move as long as the button is pressed on the MSS. If the button is not pressed or the signal is interrupted during the slide-out operation, the operation is immediately stopped.

Example operation:

User issues a command to extend a slide-out:
“O.K. R.V. – extend the slide-out”
RV Halo Voice responds with:
“Please press and hold the safety switch”
The user presses the MSS button and slides out begins to operate and continues as long as the button is pressed. At this point, you are free to walk around the perimeter of the RV verifying the safe operation of the slide-out. The green LED flashes every second to indicate the unit is transmitting.
