Safety Instructions

1.1 General

  • Read the user manual completely and carefully before use. The user manual is part of the product and contains important information for correct use.
  • Keep this user manual. The user manual must be available for uncertainties and passing the pro- duct.
  • Use product, product parts, and accessories only in perfect condition.
  • Check regularly whether the device cable is still intact.
  • Do not use the product if the cable is damaged.
  • Compare the specifications of the product and power supply. These must match or be in the specified range.
  • In case of questions, defects, mechanical damage, trouble and other problems, non-recoverable by the documentation, contact your dealer or producer.

Risk of electric shock

  • In case of emergency, during thunderstorms, and after use, pull the pro- duct on its plug housing!
  • Do not open the housing.
  • Do not modify products and accessories.
  • Do not short-circuit connectors and circuits.
  • Do not use the device with wet hands.
  • Do not place the product near an open window.

Rain splashing on the fan may cause an electric shock.

  • Secure packaging, small parts, and insulation against accidental use.
  • Operate the device only with the protective net closed and intact.
  • Do not use the device if the protective net is damaged
  • First, switch off the device and unplug the mains plug before removing the protective net.
  • Always pull the product by the plug, not by the cable.
  • Do not insert any fingers or objects through the protective net.

This can lead to injuries or damage to the device.

  • Keep long hair and loose clothing away from the fan.

These can be sucked in by the airflow.

  • Make sure that the fan is not near curtains or objects that can be pulled into the fan.
  • Do not operate the fan in the vicinity of explosive and/or flammable gases.
  • Do not place or operate the product near open flames, cooking, or heat-generating products such as radiators, heating registers, and stoves.

Operation and storage conditions

  • Place, install, and transport products, product parts, and accessories in a safe way.
  • During operation, place the product on a stable, level, dry and dust-free surface so that it does not tilt during operation and the floor covering cannot be damaged by vibrations.
  • Avoid stresses such as heat and cold, moisture and direct sunlight, microwaves, vibrations, and mechanical pressure.
  • Immediately disconnect the power plug if the product has become damp or wet.
  • Do not operate the product in dusty environments or with inadequate ventilation.
  • Do not cover the product..
  • Keep fan slots and vents free.
  • NEVER leave unattended while in operation.
  • Switch off the device and disconnect the product from the mains when not in use, when accessories are attached, for cleaning, or in the event of a fault.

2.1 Product
The powerful 16“ retro-look floor fan provides a pleasant refreshment on hot days.

Intended Use

This product is intended exclusively for private use and its intended purpose. This product is not intended for commercial use. We do not permit using the device in other ways as described in chapters “Description and Function“ and „Safety Instructions“. Use the product only in dry interior rooms. Not attending to these regulations and safety instructions might cause fatal accidents, injuries, and damages to persons and property.
IPX0: This product is not protected against water.

Installing and Operating

4.1 Preparing

  1. Check the scope of delivery for completeness and integrity.
  2. Compare the specifications of the product, power supply, and peripherals. They must be identical.

4.2 Installing

CAUTION
Risk of injury by stumbling and falling
Place, install, and transport products, products ts, and accessories in a safe way.
Injury by cutting
Do not touch the edges of the rotor.
The rotor is sharp-edged.

  1. Place the protective net with a motor block and 4-step switch (3) with the handle upwards on a level and firm surface.

  2. Slide the rotor (6) with the spacer in the direction of the motor onto the axis. The rotor must not rest directly on the motor. There must be a visible distance between the spacer and the motor. See Fig. 9 a).

  3. Tighten the rotor with the screw on the side of the spacer. See Fig. 9 b).

  4. Place the front half of the protective net on the protective net with the motor and rotor. The holes of both halves must be on top of each other. See Fig. 10 a).

  5. First, insert all Phillips-head screws (5) through the holes provided in both halves of the net

  6. Then tighten the screws clockwise in a diagonal order, Fig. 10 b). Otherwise, the grid may warp.

  7. Plug the two carrier halves (1) together as shown in Fig. 11 a).

  8. Tighten it with the Phillips-head screw with the lens head (2). See Fig. 11 b).

  9. Slide one spacer (8) each onto the screw suspensions on the right and left of the protective grille of the fan, Fig. 12 a),

  10. Push the fan with the screw suspensions and spacers into the carrier Fig. 12 b) and 12c).

  11. Secure the basket with the triangular screws, Fig. 12 d. The triangular hand nuts are counterrotating! One triangular hand nut is tightened counterclockwise and the ther clockwise.

4.3 Installation and alignment

WARNING
Risk of death and injury due to improper environmental conditions

  • Do not place the product near an open window. Rain splashing on the fan may cause an electric shock.
  • Do not operate the fan in the vicinity of explosive and/or flammable gases.
  • Do not place or operate the product near open flames, cooking or heat-generating products such as radiators, heating registers and stoves..
  • Make sure that the fan is not near curtains or objects that can be pulled into the fan.
  • Hold the fan only by the handle (11, fig. 5) and place it on a dust-free, stable and horizontal surface.
  • Turn the front of the fan in the direction you want to ventilate.

For fine adjustment, the fan can be tilted at an angle of 0°-135°.
3. Tilt the fan to the desired position from which the blower should come. See Figure 14.

CAUTION
Risk of injury by stumbling and falling

  • Mind placing cables in a way, nobody will be disabled and the cable not be damaged.

  • Install the system and devices attached to it in a way that persons cannot be injured, or objects not be damaged for example by dropping or stumbling.

  • Connect the ventilator to a protective contact socket.

5.2 Adjusting the blower intensity

CAUTION
Risk of injury due to improper handling

  • Operate the device only with the protective net closed and intact.

  • Do not insert any fingers or objects through the protective net. This can lead to injuries or damage to the device.

  • Keep long hair and loose clothing away from the fan. These can be sucked in by the airflow.

  • NEVER leave unattended while in operation. The blower intensity can be adjusted in 3 steps via the 4-step switch (12, Fig. 16):
    0 = Off
    1 = Low
    2 = Medium
    3 = High

  • Disconnect the fan from the mains when not in use.

Maintenance, Care, Storage and Transportation

CAUTION
Risk of injury by moving product parts
Do not keep limbs between shearing parts.
NOTICE
Material damage

  • Let maintenance and repair work carry out only by qualified personnel.
  • Regularly check the tightness of product/screws.
  • Do not over-tighten the screws. Threads can be damaged.
  • Only use a dry and soft cloth for cleaning.
  • Do not use detergents or chemicals.
  • Store cool and dry.
  • Store the product out of the reach of children and in a dry and dust-protected ambiance when not in use.
  • Keep and use the original packaging for transport

8.1 Product
