EUROtops BK557 Military Watch Instruction
INSTRUCTION
Please read these instructions carefully before using the product for the first time and keep them for future reference. * Before Use: First remove the plastic stopper and push the crown (C) fully into the watch.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

USE
- SETTING ANALOG TIME
1. Pull the crown “C” to position 2 and rotate it to set the time.
2. Push the crown “C” back to position 1 to confirm and finish setting the time.
- BUTTON FUNCTIONS
- MODE In real time display, press “B” button successively to toggle between the different modes.
- Real Time mode= The digits are fixed, they are not flashing.
- Time setting mode = the second digit is flashing.
- CHRONOGRAPH FUNCTIONS
- In real-time display mode: Press button “B” once to switch to stopwatch mode. The “ST” and “SPL“ icons displayed.
Press button “D” button
- Once to start the chronograph;
- A second time to stop the chronograph;
- A third time to continue timing.
- To reset the stopwatch to zero, press “D” button to stop the chronograph and then press “E”.
NOTE:
- When you switch to other mode, the chronograph continues timing in the background if you don’t stop it. The chronograph display range is limited to 23hours, 59 minutes and 59,99 seconds. When it reaches this limit, it restarts from zero.
- The stopwatch counts in 0.01 seconds at the beginning, and it counts in seconds after 30 minutes.
SPLIT TIME

When it’s timing, press “E” button to take a split time
Note: When taking a split time, the chronograph continues timing in the background. -
Press “E” to resume timing. Press “E” to take a second split time.

Repeat step 2 to take any additional split times as desired.

Press the “D” button to exit split time and stop timing.

press the “E” button to reset it to zero.
- DIGITAL TIME SETTING
SETTING THE DIGITAL REAL TIME AND DATE
The setting sequence is as follows: Hour Minute Month Date Day of Week Second

After entering real time setting mode, the second digit will flash. Press “D” button to reset it to zero. Press “E” button to confirm and the hour digit will flash.

Press “D” button to set the hour digit. Press “E” button to confirm and to switch to the following value to set which will flash.

Repeat step 2 to set the minute digit, hour format, month digit, day digit and day of week.

After confirming day of week by pressing “E” button, the second digit will flash.
NOTE: Pressing “D” while the seconds are in the range of 30 to 59 resets them to 00 and adds 1 to the minute digit. In the range of 00 to 29, it resets the seconds to 0 but the minutes are unchanged.
NOTE: 1 The time can be displayed either in 12-hour format or in 24-hour format. When setting hour digit, press E button repeatedly till the letter at the right referring to the correct hour format displays: The sequence of time format displays as follows “A” → “P” → “H” → “A”. In 12 hour format, “A” stands for morning and “P” for afternoon. In 24H format, “H” displays. -
Press “B” button to confirm and exit time setting mode.
NOTE: See below for the abbreviation of the days of week

SETTING THE ALARM AND HOURLY CHIME
In real-time display mode: Press “B” button twice to enter alarm setting mode.
When setting the alarm, make sure the hour format of the alarm is same as the one of normal time display otherwise the alarm will not go off.
- Press “E” button, the hour digit will flash. Press “D” to set the hour digit.
- Repeat step 2 to set the minute digit,
- Press “C” button to confirm. Then press “B” button to exit alarm setting mode and return to real time mode.
ACTIVATE OR DEACTIVATE ALARM /HOURLY CHIME
In alarm mode: Press “D” button to adjust the desired symbol to either activate or deactivate alarm / hourly chime according to the order shown below:
ALARM SNOOZE
When the alarm goes off:
- To stop it, you can either press “D” or “E” button OR let it sound for 20 seconds, and then it will auto stop.
- To repeat it, press “B” button. The alarm icon Alram will flash and the buzzer will sound 5 minutes later. It will auto stop 20 seconds later or to stop it manually press “B” (alarm icon Alram will stop flashing). Note: The alarm can only be repeated once.
BACKLIGHT FUNCTION
Press “A” button once to turn on the backlight for about 3 seconds in any mode.
WARNING
- To ensure a waterproof seal, always make sure that the crown has been pushed back into the normal operating position.
- DO NOT USE the crown or any other buttons underwater or when the watch is wet.
- To maintain the aesthetic appearance of your watch, avoid contact with perfumes, nail polish, varnish, cosmetics, cleaning products, adhesives, and paint, as they can cause discoloration, deterioration and damage.
- To prevent any risk from perspiration, dust and humidity, regularly wipe your watch with a soft, dry cloth.
- To ensure the longevity of your watch, please observe the following instructions: Do not attempt to open the watch casing. The battery must be replaced by a qualified person.
- Your watch is shock-resistant. However, to avoid damage, make sure you do not drop or hit it against hard surfaces.
