This device is designed to sharpen kitchen knives, pocket knives or other metal or ceramic knives. Do not use razor blades or any other blade that are not suitable in size and / or thickness to the knife sharpener.
Always use this device after cleaning blades (see section “care and maintenance”).
Place the knife sharpener on a flat, stable surface.
Hold the sharpener with one hand and the knife handle with the other.
Slot 1 Diamond Coated Rods (Preparation)
Repair damaged edges and balance the blade before actually sharpening.
Insert knife blade fully into the slot at a 90°angle to the sharpener. Apply
light downward pressure on the blade while pulling the knife through the
sharpening slot from heel to tip. Avoid rubbing the face of the blade against
the walls of the slot when sharpening. Always pull the knife from heal to tip,
never push the knife away from you.
Repeat this action, normally 5-7 pulls will get the blade sharp, but knives
made of extremely hard steel may require additional pulls.
**For ceramic knives this step is sufficient.
**
Slot 2 Carbide Blades (Sharpening)
Sharpen the blade and restore its shape to a V- cut.
**Never use on a ceramic blade! This could irreversibly damage or break it!
**
Slot 3 Ceramic Rods (Polishing)
Remove burrs and polish the blade so that it is as sharp as razor.
The polishing process is the same as that of the sharpening, ie several
successive passes in the slot 3 of the sharpener are necessary.
Never use on a ceramic blade! This could irreversibly damage or break it!
Please only use slot 3 to sharpen serrated knives
The sharpener has three slots, pull the knife through each slot one by one,
from slot 1 to slot 3.
Do not sharpen alternately in the three slots
Sharpening scissors
Put the scissors in the open position, move the blade of the scissors from the

direction.
