MICHELIN 12123 Digital Tyre Inflator
THANK YOU FOR PURCHASING THE MICHELIN 4X4/SUV DIGITAL TYRE INFLATOR
Please read the operating instructions carefully before using your inflator.
Improper use can cause damage to property and possibly harm the user. When
using the inflator ensure the vehicle is parked in a safe location, off the
road, with the vehicle handbrake on and where your personal safety is not at
risk.
Only suitable for vehicles with a negative earth. Check your vehicle owner’s
manual.
This inflator can inflate vehicle tyres up to 80 PSI (please follow your vehicle manufacturer’s recommendations) and bicycle tyres up to 100 PSI. Higher pressures can be achieved in cycle
OPERATING FEATURES
tyres due to their smaller air volumes compared to vehicle tyres.
When inflating vehicle tyres this inflator should ONLY be used for car tyres
and bicycle tyres. Low pressure items such as sports balls and small
inflatable toys may also be inflated using the Max power requirement during
normal use: 13A / 156W.
WARNING! COMPRESSED AIR CAN BE DANGEROUS
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use responsible for their safety.
- Never allow children to use this tyre inflator. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- Never leave unattended when running.
- Never overinflate.
- Always use in a safe area away from traffic and other dangers.
- Never run for more than 10 minutes. After each 10 minute run allow inflator to cool for 10 minutes.
WARNING! ENSURE CORRECT TYRE PRESSURES
Correct tyre pressure is vital for road safety.
Under or overinflated tyres can be dangerous.
Always ensure that regular weekly checks are carried out to the vehicle
manufacturer’s recommended pressures, including the spare. Always check before
a long journey or after loading o Always check pressures in an ambient
temperature, never immediately after a long journey.
CAUTION
- Inspect the tyre inflator before each use.
- Please ensure that your cigarette lighter socket is clean and free of debris, failure to do this may cause overheating of the plug.
- If your 12V power socket has a fuse rated at 10A or less, the wiring in your vehicle will not support this product.
- Do not leave the device unattended whilst connected to a 12V DC socket.
- Do not kink or block the air hose while the compressor is working.
- Do not use the compressor if bent, broken, melted, burnt, wet or any of the components are damaged.
- Only use the adaptors supplied with the device.
The compressor contains no user-serviceable parts – DO NOT OPEN.

ADAPTORS
Included with your MICHELIN 4X4/SUV Digital Tyre Inflator, at the front of the unit, is a storage compartment for the power cord. The storage compartment lid (4) holds various adaptors to enable you to inflate other items.
