FIND YOUR OBD PLUG ON VEHICULE

Look up in your car for your OBD plug (also known as diagnostic plug). You may find it in one on the highlighted area below. Some vehicle requires a platic part to be removed in order to make this OBD plug visible. You can of course put back your platic part after device installation:

Keep in mind the plug location. You will need to plug your device on it at step 3.

Enter your login/password and follow pairing wizard inside the application. Make sure your Bluetooth is enabled.

END OF INSTALLATION

  • Open, if any, the OBD plug casing.

  • Find a sleek surface next to the OBD plug. You can for example stick the device on the back of the OBD plug case, if remaining space allows it.
    DO NOT STICK THE DEVICE ON A DOOR OR ON THE MOVING PART OF YOUR GLOVEBOX, AS IT WILL PREVENT DEVICE FROM CORRECTLY RECORD YOUR DRIVING DATA

  • Clean the sleek surface with provided cleaning wipe. And put the supplied sticker on it when alcohol from cleaning wipe has completely dry.

  • When asked by the mobile application, plug the extension an device.

  • If installation succeeds then you can finalize the installation by sticking your device on the prepared sticker.

  • Be sure to firmly press on device for 10 seconds at least in order to

  • Close, if any, the OBD case with caution.

ALL SET ?

The device light is bright blue : installation success!

FAQ

HOW DOES IT WORKS ?

IS IT POSSIBLE TO USE THE DEVICE ALONGSIDE OTHER BLUETOOTH DEVICES AT THE SAME TIME ?
Yes, you can use hands-free device or any other Bluetooth devices while connected to Dwilen II device.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO TAKE A BREAK FROM USING THE EQUIPMENT OR STOP IT COMPLETELY ?
Yes, at any time you may stop recording trip data, stop upload of trip on our servers and/or remove data from mobile though Parameters menu of your application. Might you want to stop completely, please contact our support in order return back free of charge your device.

CAN THERE BE MORE THAN ONE DRIVER FOR THE SAME VEHICLE ?
Yes , but driving scores will not be personalised. They will be linked to the device and therefore to the vehicle.

WHAT IF I CHANGE MY VEHICLE ?
It is of course possible. Please contact our support in order to edit your profile informations.

PRECAUTIONS FOR USE

Do not expose to water or submerge the device in liquid.
Do not leave the device near a naked flame.
Do not take the device apart or open it up.
Do not drop the device.
Do not plug device other than your OBD plug.
If the device is no longer working, please contact our support service to have it
