USER MANUAL

KIT CONTENTS:

The MICHELIN TRACK CONNECT kit includes everything you need to connect your MICHELIN Pilot Sport Cup 2 Connect tires to your smartphone.
The kit contains:
– 1 installation guide
– 4 sensors
– 1 phone holder
– 1 storage case containing: 1 receiver
– 1 short USB cable and 1 long USB cable
– 1 USB adapter

PRECAUTIONS FOR INSTALLATION, USE, AND CARE

– The system must be installed by an automotive professional.
– The kit items to install inside the vehicle must be used between
-20°C/-4°F and +35°C/+95°F.
– Never expose the kit items to a naked flame such as a candle.
– Do not expose the MICHELIN TRACK CONNECT receiver to the sun.
– Do not use the device near to liquids.
– The USB adapter and receiver are IP20 rated. They are not waterproof so do not expose them to water or dampness.
Clean them with a dry cloth only.
– Irreversible damage will be caused by sand, dust or water getting into the MICHELIN TRACK CONNECT kit
. – Plugging the wrong cable into the receiver’s USB port may cause serious damage to the receiver.
– Damage due to incorrect use is not covered by the warranty.
– Do not put anything, particularly metal objects, on top of the receiver as this may seriously damage the radio communication between the sensors and receiver.
– Make sure you disconnect the receiver when not in use to avoid draining your vehicle battery.
– The system must be used in an appropriate location in order to ensure the safety of people, animals, and property.

HOW TO RECYCLE THIS PRODUCT

This symbol **** on some of the MICHELIN TRACK CONNECT kit items indicates that they must not be disposed of with other household waste at the end of their life.
Ensure that you separate them from other waste and recycle them responsibly as the uncontrolled disposal of waste could harm the environment or human health. Recycling contributes to the sustainable reuse of material resources.     The declarations of conformity of the various parts of the kit can be found at the end of this document (USB adapter, MICHELIN TRACK CONNECT receiver, Sensata sensor, HUF sensor).
    – DECLARATION OF REACH COMPLIANCE The declarations of REACH compliance for the kit components are available on the Michelin website for your country. You can access it via the app’s «FAQ» section.

  • CANADA
    – DECLARATION OF CONFORMITY IN CANADA The device complies with Industry Canada license-exempt RSS standards. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) the device must not cause interference, and (2) the device must accept any interference, including interference that may cause undesired operation of the device.
