Rabalux 6848 Valentine Wall Mounted Spotlight
USAGE AND OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR LIGHT FITTING! For your safety, mount and
put the light fitting into operation based on the instructions. Preserve these
instructions. Identify the drawings on the product, on the data plate of the
product, and in the instructions and take the warning texts into
consideration.
Before the mounting, putting into operation or repair of the light fitting the
circuit in question must be relieved from voltage. It is appropriate to switch
off the cutout securing the circuit in question or if you do not know which
one is the cutout, then, to switch off the cutouts of the consumption meter.
Fixed light fitting.
The product is only suitable for inside usage. The light fitting must only be
mounted and put into operation by a qualified electrician! Make sure that you
do not damage any electric cables when you are mounting the light fitting. The
colour codes of the wire are the following: black or brown (L) = phase
conductor, blue (N) = neutral conductor, and in the case of a light fitting of
shock protection class I: green-yellow =protecting conductor. The producer
shall not be liable for incidental damages or accidents arising from non-
standard connection and usage. Set the spotlights in cold, cooled down state
because they heat up during operation and may cause burns. Only to be
installed outside arms reach

Symbol of the shortest distance (in metres) from the illuminated objects
The distance between the bulb and the lighted object cannot be less than the
data indicated in the vicinity of the housings. Only a light source of maximum
performance and of the type indicated in the data plate and around the socket
can be used for the product. In case of the replacing of the bulbs first
release the lamp fitting from tension (pull out the mains plug), and wait
until the bulb is cool. Do not touch with your hands the halogen bulbs, use a
soft cloth or a tissue to hold and put them in place. The bulbs / light tubes
supplied together with the product are not covered by the guarantee! Both
normal, LED and Compact Fluorecsent Light source can be installed into the
lamp fitting. If the light body is operated with a LED light source, please
consider the following information
The lamp is not designed for dimmer
- LED light -source, please do not stare at lights for long time!
- If the light body is operated with a compact light source, please consider the following information:
- It is not recommended to use the energy saving light source with dimmer, motion sensor or timer because these gears can damage the light source.
- Avoid the frequent switching of the warm tubes. It can reduce the lifetime or casue sudden failure.
- When replacing the light source never twist by the tubes. Always twist by the plastic housing.
- Attention! Immediately chanfge the light source if realize any signs of malfunction( flashing , green, orange sparklight, or smell smoke) Bear in mind the lightsources are hazardous waste. Always keep separately with the houshold waste and dispose only at the appointed collection points
- Do not clean the light fitting with detergents or abrasive materials and avoid the contact of liquids with electrical parts.
