About your V810

  1. LCD Display
    V810 displays information including signal strength, battery status, phone number, and Wi-Fi SSID name and password. and password.

  2. Power Button
    Power the V810 On/Off by pressing and holding this button. You can also short press this button to check device information on the screen.

  3. Battery Port
    Insert the battery connection cable into this port.

  4. Reset Button
    Use a pen to press and hold this button. When the screen prompts to restore default, then follow prompts and release.

  5. SIM Card Slot
    Insert your SIM card into this slot.

  6. Type C Port
    Connect the USB adapter here to provide external power.

  7. Phone Port (RJ11)
    Connect your telephone to the V810.

  8. Ethernet Port (RJ45)
    Connect your computer to the internet with a cable line.

  9. This SMA is mainly used for internal debugging.

Setting up your V810

Install SIM Card

Remove the battery cover from the back of your V810. Install the SIM card into the SIM slot as the image shows.

Install Battery

Open the battery cover, but three batteries into the battery compartment. Be sure to properly align the batteries in the compartment then put the battery cover back in place as shown in the image.

Turning your V810 On/off

To turn your V810 on, press and hold the Power button.
To turn it off, press and hold the Power button until you see the screen turn off.

Connect your Telephone to the V810

The V810 provides ports for up to two telephones. The ports use the same telephone number. [New paragraph] Plug the telephone cord into one of the telephone ports on the back of the V810 (the other end of the cord must remain plugged into the back of your home telephone base unit).

Note: The telephone and telephone cord are not included.

Make Calls

Before making a call, make sure at least one of the signal strength indicator bars ( ) is lit up. If no signal bars are lit, move the V810 to a location that can receive a signal. Pick up the handle of your telephone then dial the number to use call services.

Equipment External Power

Connect your device to a USB cable and plug the cable into a wall adapter or USB-C port.

WARNING! Please only use an approved USB adapter for the V810. The use of other incompatible adapters may cause damage to your device and void the warranty.

Connecting to the Internet
  1. To connect to Wi-Fi, you will need the SSID and password. You can find it by pressing the Power key to light up the screen and switching to the Wi-Fi submenu. The following text is what you will need to use.
  2. Use a computer or other Wi-Fi-capable device to connect. Check the list of available networks on your Wi-Fi-capable device and select your SSID name.
  3. Enter your Wi-Fi password. After the connection is successful, you are now connected to the internet.
Accessing your Online Management Portal

You can access and manage your V810 from the Online Management Portal. Open a web browser and enter http://192.168.0.1 or https://192.168.0.1.

System Requirements

Your V810 is compatible with any device that supports Wi-Fi. It is compatible with all popular operating systems and the latest versions of browsers. By default, the Online Management Portal’s homepage username and password is ‘admin’.

You can create your own Online Portal password on the settings page. After you change your own password, you will be required to use the new password to sign in.
To change your home page password:

  1. Connect your Wi-Fi-capable device to your V810.
  2. Open a web browser and enter http://192.168.0.1.
  3. Move to Settings -> Device Settings -> Admin Password, input your current admin password, and set up your new password, then save the changes.

Managing Wi-Fi Networks and Connections

Click on the Wi-Fi settings tab, the Wi-Fi settings can be viewed and changed on this page.
You can set Wi-Fi SSID, security, and password. You can also set the device to work on 2.4G or 5G in the setting of 802.11 modes.

The default maximum Wi-Fi connection is 15, you can set it as 1~15.

Resetting your V810

You can reset your V810 to factory default from the Online Management portal or the physical reset button.
NOTE: Resetting your V810 will disconnect devices and reset network names and passwords.

  1. To reset the device from the Online Portal, click on “About → Backup and Restore → Restore to Factory Defaults”. Click on “Restore Factory Defaults” to restore.ATEL V810 4G LTE Phone Hub - Restore
  2. To reset the device from the reset button; make sure your V810 is on. Remove the battery cover from the back of your V810. Insert a pin into the Reset hole and press and hold the reset button. Wait until the device restores defaults and reboots.
