ATEL W01 Arch LTE WiFi Router
Overview
Thank you for choosing the W01 Arch, LTE WIFI Router by ATEL! Having the Arch W01 at your fingertips will allow you to access LTE network for fast uploads and downloads on your own Wi-Fi hotspot. You can also connect up to 15 Wi-Fi- capable devices to the Internet at once – laptops, tablets, Smartphones and more.
System Requirements
- Compatible with all IEEE802.11b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi enabled devices.
- Works with the latest versions of most browsers*.
It is recommended to use the latest versions of Internet browsers. Outdated versions may not be compatible with the W01 Web Admin User Interface, http://192.168.0.1or https://192.168.0.1.

Power Button
Power on/off for the W01. Quick press the power key two times, start WPS -
Type C Charging Port
The USB charger connects here. -
Battery
Optional, there is no battery in the original gift box, if you need a battery as backup power supply, please contact your sales channel or buy it from ATEL website. -
Reset
To perform a reset of your device, gently press and hold the button for 3 seconds, then release. -
SIM Card
Lift the stopper to insert or replace the Nano SIM card.
LED Indicator
Power supply and Installation
Type C USB connector is the main power supply from 5 V AD-DC adaptor. You can
find and buy a back up battery from ATEL website if needed
Note: W01 should be installed on the wall where have good LTE signal, you
can find double-sided tape in gift box for easy installation
Accessing the Network
Work effectively at home or office with the reliable broadband speed that the
LTE service provides. You can connect to the internet at speeds fast enough to
keep up-to-date on all your email correspondence, download attachments, and
access your corporate internet.
Using Your W01 for the First Time
System Requirements
Your computer, tablet, or other wireless devices need Wi-Fi capability and
Internet browser software only. Your W01 is compatible with most major
operating systems and the latest versions of browsers.
Installing the LTE Nano SIM Card
If not already inserted, follow the instructions below to install your LTE
Nano SIM card.
- Remove the back cover of your device.
- Lift the “LIFT” tab and slide your Nano SIM card in the SIM card slot with the Wireless Carrier logo facing up. After installation, secure the “LIFT” tab back into place.
IMPORTANT! Do not bend or scratch your Nano SIM card. Avoid exposing your Nano
SIM card to static electricity, water, or dirt. Whenever you insert or remove
the SIM card, ensure your W01 is powered off and is not connected to any power
source. Never use tools, knives, keys, or any type of object to force the door
open or to remove the Nano SIM card.
Using Your W01 after Setup is Complete
WIFI Router to share connections
You can use your W01 as a wireless WIFI Router to connect to a total of 15 Wi-
Fi-capable devices to the WIFI broadband network.
Wi-Fi and WIFI Router (http://192.168.0.1) Security and Password
The W01 comes from the factory with security turned on. By default, WIFI
Routerusernameandpassword is ‘admin’. Your WIFI Router password is always
‘admin’ unless you change it in the WIFI Router home page. You can create your
own WIFI Router password by signing into the WIFI Router home page. After you
change your own WIFI Router home password, you will be required to use the new
password to sign in to the WIFI Router home page.
To change your WIFI Router home password:
- Connect your Wi-Fi-capable device to your W01.
- Open a web browser and enter https://192.168.0.1 or http://192.168.0.1.
Updating Your W01 software
New software is updated automatically in the following scenarios.
Upgrade:
If new version is found, this button will appear. Note Please not remove the
power supply during F/W upgrading, loss of power during the upgrade could
damage the device.
Check for Update:
Check if the current version is up to date, Click upgrade manual Upgrade. Equipment standby 6 hours, after restart automatically upgrade.
Managing Your WIFI Router
Access the W01 WIFI Router home page. You can access your WIFI Router device information using an internet browser. If there is a firmware upgrade in the future, the WebGUImay will be changed without notice.
- Access W01WIFI Router using a browser. Connect your Wi-Fi-capable device to the W01.
- Open a web browser on your connected device and open your home page by entering either https://192.168.0.1or http://192.168.0.1.
- Enter the Username/Password and click Login. If you entered the correct password, the Web User Interface screen appears.
NOTE: The default Username/Password is ‘admin’. On your first login, you will be directed to ‘Change password’

The following tips can help solve many common problems encountered while using the W01.
Before you start
- Make sure you are using your W01 in the correct geographic region (within the wireless coverage area of your provider).
- Ensure that your wireless coverage extends to your current location by using the interactive wireless carrier’s coverage map tool.
- Ensure that you have an active service plan.
- Restarting your computer and your W01 can resolve many issues.
IMPORTANT! Before contacting customer care, be sure to restart both your W01
and any device that is currently connected.
Common Problems and Solutions

How do I perform a Power Reset on W01?
Using the power button: Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds until the W01 restarts. -
How do I perform a Reset?
Using the reset button: Remove the back cover. Press down the reset button for 3 seconds and release. Then your W01 will perform the reset and restart automatically. -
How do I perform a Factory Reset?
Using WIFI Router Homepage: Connect to your W01 and then open the WIFI Router home page
(https://192.168.0.1, or, http://192.168.0.1). Select About>Backup and Restore and Click Restore Factory Defaults. -
I cannot connect to Wi-Fi after changing the Wi-Fi password.
Your Wi-Fi devices save the previously used Wi-Fi names associated with the passwords used to access the Wi-Fi name. When you change the Wi-Fi password only for your W01 and keep the same Wi-Fi Name, the devices try to connect to your W01 using the Wi-Fi name and previous Wi-Fi password saved, causing a Wi- Fi authentication error. -
I cannot access thehttps://192.168.0.1.
Ensure that a Wi-Fi connection is enabled on your device and that you have selected the correct Wi-Fi name (SSID) for your W01 connection. Also, make certain that you are entering the correct full URL address as https://192.168.0.1. If this URL address does not work, try the IP address http://192.168.0.1. I cannot log into https://192.168.0.1.Ensure that you are entering the correct WIFI Router password to sign in. The default WIFI Router login password is “admin” unless you have previously changed it. If you have forgotten your password, reset your device by pressing the Reset button.
