SETUP

For best results, fully charge controller and power bank prior to first use.

CHARGING CONTROLLER + POWER BANK

  • Using the included 6.6ft (2m) USB Cable, connect the Micro-USB end to the port at the top of the controller, and connect the Standard USB end to any powered USB source.
  • When charging, four LEDs will display the charging level from 25-50-75-100%.

CHARGE LEVEL INDICATOR

Check battery charge level by pressing the battery status button ( ) on front lower left of controller. The LEDs will indicate the current charge level from 25-100% even when controller is off.

WIRELESS MODE

Move Wireless/Wired switch on front center of controller to BT ( ) which indicates wireless mode.

  1.  If controller is off, press the Xbox button ( ) to turn on (LED will illuminate).

  2. Press and hold the Bluetooth sync button ( ) on back of controller for 5 seconds to enter pairing
    mode (LED will flash rapidly).

  3. Enter the Bluetooth settings on your device and choose the MOGA controller. The pairing LED will turn solid when connected.

NOTE: A previously paired device will automatically pair to the controller when powered on.

POWERING OFF

Hold the Xbox button ( ) for 5 seconds to turn controller off and save battery capacity.

WIRED MODE

Move Wireless/Wired switch on front center of controller to USB ( ) which indicates wired mode.

  • Connect Micro-USB end of the 11.8” (30 cm) or 6.6ft (2 m) cable to the port at top of the controller, and connect other end to your gaming device.
  • Gaming device input ports (Standard USB, Micro-USB, USB-C) will determine whether you use shorter or longer micro-USB cable for wired gaming.
  • This MOGA controller supports Direct Input by default, but also supports X Input mode. If initial wired connection is unsuccessful, switch modes by pressing Menu + View for three seconds. Three LED flashes indicate mode was changed and retained in memory. Repeat process to switch back.

STANDARD MODE

The XP7-X+ allows you to insert your phone into the middle of the controller, allowing for a convenient way to game on the go.

  1. Remove the detachable gaming stand from the middle of the controller by sliding it up.
  2. Pull the two grips on the controller away from each other to extend the middle of the controller.
  3. Place your phone between the extended grips so that it rests on the ledge of the middle part.
  4. Slowly release the grips until they press against the phone, holding it tightly in place.
  5. Slide the Lock switches on the back of each side to the “lock” position.
  6. To remove your phone follow these steps in reverse, starting with “unlocking”.

GAMING STAND

A detachable mobile gaming stand is included for use with gaming on your phone.

  1. Remove the gaming stand from the middle of the controller by sliding it up.
  2. Rotate the top of the stand to your preferred viewing angle, the stand rotation clicks through several different positions.
  3. Place the stand down on a sturdy surface.
  4.  Place your device in the grooves on the bottom of the stand and rest it against the back of the stand.

WIRELESS INTEGRATED POWER BANK

A Qi Wireless Power Bank built into the controller allows you to charge your phone during gameplay or while controller is off.

  • Make sure you are using a phone that has Qi wireless charging capability while in standard mode.
  • During gameplay, move the Power Bank switch, located on the top left of the controller, to the right (on) to start charging.
  • Your mobile device will display charge status once connected. If charging does not begin, the power bank battery may be too low: recharge controller.
  • The amount of charge available for your phone depends on how much battery capacity remains on the controller when charging begins.

ASSIGNING THE ADVANCED GAMING BUTTONS

  1. Press the Green Program Button on the bottom of the controller for 2 seconds. The LED Connection Indicator will flash, signaling the controller is in Assign Mode.
  2. Press 1 of the following buttons (A/B/X/Y/LB/RB/LT/RT/Left Stick Press/Right Stick Press/D pad) to re-assign. Then press the Advanced Gaming Button (Right or Left) that you wish to assign. The LED connection indicator will stop flashing, signaling the Advanced Gaming Button has been set.
  3. Repeat for the remaining Advanced Gaming Button.
    NOTE: Advanced Gaming Button assignments will remain in memory even after disconnected.

RESETTING THE ADVANCED GAMING BUTTONS

  1. Hold the Program Button down for 2 seconds. The LED Connection Indicator will slowly flash, signaling the controller is in Assign Mode.
  2. Press the previously assigned button for 5 seconds, and the function will be cleared.

  • PROBLEM: My controller will not power on.
    SOLUTION: Confirm the controller is fully charged by pressing the battery status button ( ) front lower left of controller. Plug in to recharge as needed.

  • PROBLEM: I don’t see my MOGA controller listed in mobile devices Bluetooth settings.
    SOLUTION: Press and hold the Bluetooth sync button ( ) on back of controller for 2 seconds to enter pairing mode (LED will flash rapidly).

  • PROBLEM: The integrated power bank is not functioning.
    SOLUTION: Confirm the controller has more than 25% charge and the Power Bank button is switched on.

BATTERY WARNING – CAUTION

  • Don’t attempt to replace the rechargeable battery yourself. There is a serious risk of explosion if the battery is incorrectly replaced.
  • The lithium-ion battery in your device should be serviced or recycled by Power A, or an authorized provider and must be recycled or disposed of separately from household waste. Dispose of batteries according to your local environment laws and guidelines.
  • Disposal of a battery or a controller that contains batteries into a fire, or mechanically crushing or cutting of a battery, can result in an explosion.
  • Leaving a battery or a controller that contains batteries in extremely high-temperature environment can result in an explosion or leakage of flammable liquid or gas.
  • A battery or controller that contains batteries that is subjected to extremely low air pressure may result in an explosion or leakage of flammable liquid or gas.
  • Don’t use the rechargeable battery in a location where there is a lot of static electricity, as the internal safety functions may be damaged, causing a dangerous situation.
  • In case any electrolytes get into the eyes due to battery leakage, do not rub your eyes! Instead, immediately rinse your eyes with clean running water and seek medical attention right away.
  • If the battery gives off an odor, generates heat, or in any way appears abnormal during use, recharging or storage, immediately remove the controller from the battery charger and place it in a secure container such as a metal box.

MOTION WARNING

  • Playing video games can make your muscles, joints, skin or eyes hurt. Follow these instructions to avoid problems such as tendinitis, carpal tunnel syndrome, skin irritation or eyestrain:
  • Avoid excessive play. Take a 10 to 15 minute break every hour, even if you don’t think you need it. Parents should monitor their children for appropriate play.
  • If your hands, wrists, arms or eyes become tired or sore while playing, or if you feel symptoms such as tingling, numbness, burning or stiffness, stop and rest for several hours before playing again.
  • If you continue to have any of the above symptoms or other discomfort during or after play, stop playing and see a doctor.
