SETUP
For best results, fully charge the controller and power bank prior to first
use.
CHARGING CONTROLLER + POWER BANK
- Using a Lightning Cable, connect to the port at the top of the controller, and connect the other end to any powered USB source.
- When charging, four LEDs will display, indicating the charging level from 25-50-75-100%.
CHARGE LEVEL INDICATOR
Check the battery charge level by pressing the battery status button ( ) on
the front lower left of the
controller. The LEDs will indicate the current charge level from 25-100% even
when the controller is off.
WIRELESS MODE
- If the controller is off, press the Home button ( ) to turn it on (LED will illuminate).
- Press and hold the Bluetooth sync button ( ) on the back of the controller for 2 seconds to enter pairing mode (LED will flash rapidly).
- Enter the Bluetooth settings on your device and choose the MOGA controller. The pairing LED will turn solid when connected.
NOTE: A previously paired device will automatically pair to the controller when powered on.
POWERING OFF
Hold the Home button ( ) for 5 seconds to turn the controller off and save
battery capacity.
MOGA CLIP
The MOGA Clip is included for use with gaming on your phone. You can use a USB
cable with a clip attached for charging.
- Slide Controller into MOGA Clip by tipping top edge in first.
- Push the controller’s bottom edge down into the clip until it locks into place.
- There are two adjustable articulation dials on the MOGA Clip. Rotate dials in opposite directions to loosen and adjust position. Rotate dials back to tighten after reaching desired viewing angle.
- To insert the phone, push the top edge of the phone against the top of the phone grip to expand upward. Push the bottom of the phone down flat into place as you reach the top limit of the phone grip. Adjust the phone horizontally as needed to center over the controller.
- Remove the clip by pulling the front edge forward to release it from the notch.
INTEGRATED POWER BANK
The controller’s built-in Power Bank allows you to charge your phone during
gameplay or while the controller is off.

Connect the USB-C end of a Lightning Cable to the USB-C port at the top of the controller.

If you don’t have a USB-C-to-Lightning cable, you can use the included USB-C-to-USB adapter. During gameplay, move the Power Bank switch below right thumbstick to the right (on) to start
charging. If you prefer to use battery power to extend controller usage time rather than charge the phone, move the switch to the left (off). -
To charge the mobile device when the controller is not in use, simply connect a cable between the controller and the device to begin charging (Power Bank Switch must be ON).
ASSIGNING THE ADVANCED GAMING BUTTONS
- Press the Program Button on the bottom of the controller for 3 seconds. The LED Connection Indicator will flash, signaling the controller is in Assign Mode.
- Press one of the following buttons (A/B/X/Y/L1/R1/L2/R2/Left Stick Press/Right Stick Press/D- pad) to assign. Then press the Advanced Gaming Button (AGR or AGL) that you wish to assign. The LED connection indicator will stop flashing, signaling the Advanced Gaming Button has been set.
- Repeat for the remaining Advanced Gaming Button.
Note : Advanced Gaming Button assignments will remain in memory even after being disconnected.
RESETTING THE ADVANCED GAMING BUTTONS
- Hold the Program Button down for 2 seconds. The LED Connection Indicator will slowly flash, signaling the controller is in Assign Mode.
- Press the previously assigned Advanced Gaming Button for 5 seconds, and the function will be cleared.
Note: To take a screenshot press the options button (…) twice. To record a video press and hold the options button (…) for 1 second. To stop recording press and hold the options button (…) for 1 second.

PROBLEM: My controller will not power on.
SOLUTION: Confirm the controller is fully charged by pressing the battery
status button ( ) on the front lower left of the controller. Plug into
recharge as needed.
PROBLEM: I do not see the MOGA controller listed in mobile device’s
Bluetooth settings.
SOLUTION: Press and hold the Bluetooth sync button ( ) on the back of the
controller for 2 seconds to enter pairing mode (LED will flash rapidly).
PROBLEM: The integrated power bank is not functioning.
SOLUTION: Confirm the controller has more than 25% charge and the Power
Bank button is switched on.
BATTERY WARNING
Don’t attempt to replace the rechargeable battery yourself- you may damage the
battery, which could cause overheating, fire, and injury. The Lithium-ion
battery in your device should be serviced or recycled by PowerA or an
authorized provider and must be recycled or disposed of separately from
household waste. Dispose of batteries according to your local environmental
laws and guidelines. Don’t use or leave the product containing rechargeable
batteries exposed to very high temperatures (e.g. in strong direct sunlight or
in a vehicle in extremely hot weather). Otherwise, it can overheat, catch
fire, or the performance will degenerate, and the service life will be
shortened. Don’t use the rechargeable battery item in a location where static
electricity is rich, otherwise, the internal safety devices may be damaged,
causing a harmful situation. In case the electrolyte gets into the eyes due to
the leakage of the battery, do not rub your eyes! Rinse eyes with clean
running water and seek medical attention immediately. Otherwise, it may injure
eyes or cause a loss of sight. If the battery gives off an odor, generates
heat, or in any way appears abnormal during use, recharging, or storage,
immediately remove it from the battery charger and place it in a contained
vessel such as a metal box. Be aware that discarded batteries may cause fire,
do not heat the controller or throw it into the fire.
MOTION WARNING
Playing video games can make your muscles, joints, skin, or eyes hurt. Follow
these instructions to avoid problems such as tendinitis, carpal tunnel
syndrome, skin irritation, or eyestrain:
- Avoid excessive play. Take a 10 to 15-minute break every hour, even if you don’t think you need it. Parents should monitor their children for appropriate play.
- If your hands, wrists, arms or eyes become tired or sore while playing, or if you feel symptoms such as tingling, numbness, burning or stiffness, stop and rest for several hours before playing again.
- If you continue to have any of the above symptoms or other discomforts during or after play, stop playing and see a doctor.
