SETUP

  1. Plug the USB cable of the Controller Charging Base into an available USB port on the Nintendo Switch dock.
  2. Locate the USB-C Charging Adapter from the storage compartment on the bottom of the Controller Charging Base.
  3. Plug the USB-C Charging Adapter into the USB-C port of the Nintendo Pro Controller or PowerA Wireless Controller for Nintendo Switch.
  4. Place the wireless controller onto the Controller Charging Base, ensuring that the USB-C Charging Adapter connects with the charging bar of the Controller Charging Base.
  5. Slide the Joy-Con™ controllers all the way down onto the Joy-Con channels of the Controller Charging Base.
  6. LED indicators on the front of the Controller Charging Base indicate the charging status. A red LED indicates charging, while a green LED indicates a full charge.
  7.  Once charged, lift the controller off the Controller Charging Base when you are ready to play!

Q: Why are my wireless controllers not charging?
A: Confirm the USB cable of the Controller Charging Base is fully plugged into a USB port on the Nintendo Switch dock.
Confirm the USB-C Charging Adapter is fully plugged into the wireless controller.
Confirm the Nintendo Switch dock is connected and powered via the Nintendo Switch AC Adapter.
Try reconnecting the Controller Charging Base to the Nintendo Switch dock.
Try reconnecting the wireless controller to the Controller Charging Base.

Q: Why are my Joy-Con controllers not charging?
A: Confirm the USB cable of the Controller Charging Base is fully plugged into a USB port on the Nintendo Switch dock.
Confirm the Nintendo Switch dock is connected and powered via the Nintendo Switch AC Adapter.
Confirm the Joy-Con controllers are pressed down all the way.
Try reconnecting the Controller Charging Base to the Nintendo Switch dock.
Try reconnecting the Joy-Con controller(s) to the Controller Charging Base.
