By means of this document, PROZIS declares that the Prozis Early – Digital Alarm Clock and Wireless Speaker – is fully compliant with all the standards specified in the applicable legislation as well as other relevant clauses.

To avoid any impact on the environment or human health due to dangerous substances present in electrical and electronic devices, the end-users of such devices are expected to understand the meaning of the symbol consisting of a crossed-out waste container. Do not dispose of electrical and electronic equipment along with the unsorted household waste. Dispose of it separately and properly instead.
The packaging that protects the device against transport damage is made from non-polluting materials that can be disposed of via local recycle bins.

Safety warnings

DANGER! This symbol, when combined with the note Danger, means high risk. Failure to observe this warning may lead to injury to life and limb.
DANGER FOR CHILDREN AND PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES

  • Packing materials are not toys. Children must not play with the packaging materials. There is a suffocation risk.
  • This device is not intended for use by individuals (including children) with limited physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or by people without adequate experience and/or general understanding of the dangers involved, unless when under the supervision of a person responsible for their safety or when having been duly instructed on how the appliance should be used.
  • Children must not play with the device.
  • Cleaning and maintenance must not be performed by children without supervision.
  • Keep the device out of the reach of children.

DANGER OF ACCIDENTS DUE TO IMPAIRED PERCEPTION
Surrounding noises may sound different than usual. Never use the speakers during activities when you must be attentively aware of your surroundings, particularly when operating machinery or vehicles in traffic. This also applies to bicycles. You must also comply with the legal provisions and regulations of the country in which you are using the device.
CAUTION! Permanent hearing loss may occur if speakers are used at high volume for prolonged periods of time.
To prevent possible hearing damage, do not listen at high volume levels for long periods of time. Reduce the risk of hearing damage by following these safety guidelines. Prior to using this product follow these steps:

  • Before switching on the speaker, turn the volume control to its lowest level and then slowly adjust the volume control to a comfortable level.
  • While using this product, keep the volume at the lowest possible level and avoid using the speaker in noisy environments where you may be inclined to turn up the volume. Should it be necessary to increase the volume, and adjust the volume slowly?
  • Ringing in your ears may indicate that the sound levels are too high.
  • Stop using the device if it causes great discomfort. · If used continuously at high volume, your ears may become accustomed to the sound level, which may result in permanent damage to your hearing without any noticeable discomfort.

DANGER!
Risk of fatalities from electric shock

  • Check the device for visible external damage before use.’
  • Do not operate a device that has been damaged or dropped.
  • Make sure the appliance or/and the power cable are NEVER submerged in water or other fluids.

The supplied USB cable has been specially designed for the product. Do not change it, if damaged, you must buy a new one from Prozis.
DANGER! Risk of explosion!
The alarm clock has a built-in rechargeable lithium-polymer battery. Improper handling of rechargeable lithium polymer batteries may result in fire and explosion. Furthermore, hazardous substances may leak from the rechargeable battery.
CAUTION! This symbol highlights dangerous situations which could lead to minor to moderate injuries, damage, malfunction, and/or destruction of the device.
To prevent harm or damage from happening to users or others, make sure to comply with the following requirements.
CAUTION! Risk of material damage

  • This product does not contain any parts that can be serviced by the user.
  • If you notice anything unusual while using the device (e.g. unusual noise, strange odor or smoke), switch it off immediately and disconnect all cables. Do not use the device anymore.
  • Do not block any ventilation openings. Install according to manufacturer instructions. Leave enough space around the product for adequate ventilation.
  • Do not place any items on top of your product.
  • Do not place it near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
  • Make sure the product is set up, placed, and connected according to the instructions.
  • Avoid placing the product under direct sunlight or direct artificial light, such as a spotlight.
  • Sudden temperature changes may cause condensation inside the product. Allow the product to adjust for a while before using it again!

Maintenance and cleaning

  • Switch the product off and remove all plugs before cleaning!
  • Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents or materials such as scouring milk or steel wool to clean the components. They can damage the upper surface of the appliance!
  • Use only a clean, dry cloth for cleaning the appliance and never use any corrosive liquids.
  • Use a slightly damp cloth and a mild cleaning agent to remove any stubborn dirt.
  • Make sure moisture does not enter the product during cleaning to prevent damage to the product and related repairs.

Storage

  • When no longer using the device, store the product in a dry environment, protected from dust and direct sunlight.
  • If the product is not going to be used for a long period of time, you should recharge it on a regular basis. This helps maintain battery performance.
  • Store your Alarm Clock inside the original case provided.

SETTING THE TIME

  1. Long press SET.
  2. Set the time by using + / – buttons to increase/decrease hour/minutes.
  3. Short press SET to change between hours/minutes.
  4. Long press SET to exit clock setting mode.

Note: To set the current time, both of the alarm clocks must be deselected.

SETTING ALARM CLOCK TIME

Press SET to choose between Alarm clock 1 or 2 and then repeat the Setting the time process.

LED DISPLAY AREA (SEE PAGE 2, FIGURE B)

  1. LED digital display: clock
  2. Steady BT light – BT connections established / BT light blinking – pairing mode

BT PAIRING

  1. Switch on your alarm clock by long pressing the On/Off button for about 4 seconds, BT mode will be on by default. The alarm clock will enter pairing mode automatically and the BT light will flash at the front of your alarm clock.
  2. Please enable your mobile phone’s BT and search for PROZIS Early, pair and connect. When the connection has been successful you will hear a sound from your alarm clock.

Note: Once you have connected your cell phone with the alarm clock it’s only possible to connect another phone after disconnecting the first one.

CHARGING

Connect your alarm clock via USB cable to any power source (USB charger, Powerbank, Laptop…): see page 2, figure C
Red light while charging, light off when fully charged.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Some issues that arise may be solved by the user. If the problem persists after having tried the following solutions, please contact Prozis customer service.

PROBLEM CAUSE SOLUTION
The device is not working. The battery is empty. Recharge the battery as

described.
No sound.| The Alarm clock or/ and software volume is set to a Minimum.| Follow the instructions to adjust the volume.
It works with
my smartphone but not with my Computer.| Your computer’s BT Drivers are not updated.| The Alarm clock needs to be supported by the BT adapter in your computer. To ensure the BT adapter for your computer is functioning correctly, update the drivers to the latest version.
You may need to check if your computer’s BT adapter supports A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile), HSP (Headset Profile), HFP (Hands-free Profile), and/or AVRCP (Audio/Video Remote Control Profile).
No BT connection.| Playback device error.| Check if the alarm clock has been detected by the playback device.
Check if the playback device detects other devices with BT.
Check if you are on BT mode, the “BT” light must be switched on.

Warranty statement

All electrical and electronic products commercialized by Prozis via www.prozis.com are covered by the warranty applicable to the purchase and sale of consumer goods.

GENERAL CONSIDERATIONS

This document contains the terms and conditions of Prozis’ warranty for final consumers.
This warranty is valid exclusively for consumers who purchase the product for non-professional purposes.
WARRANTY PERIOD
Prozis guarantees the product is to remain free from material and production defects for a 2-year period, counting from the date of initial purchase by a consumer and respective delivery, or for longer if legally established by the applicable national law.
In the event that repair is required, this 2-year period is suspended during repair time.

CONSUMABLES

The gradual performance decrease caused by prolonged use of the product’s consumable components, such as batteries, is not covered by this warranty unless the malfunction is caused by faulty design, materials or production.

HOW TO MAKE A CLAIM

If the need arises to exercise the rights conceded to you through this warranty, please contact Prozis customer service via the communication channels provided on the Prozis website, and follow the provided instructions or recommendations. Contact and technical assistance information is also provided at the end of this warranty.
Any claims made regarding this warranty will only be valid if proof of purchase is presented by the original customer. This proof of purchase may be the original invoice or receipt, as long as it includes information regarding the date of purchase and the product’s model name.
WARRANTY REPAIRS
Any repairs made under this warranty cannot be made by third parties. This warranty does not apply to any repairs, or damage caused directly by such repairs, that have impacted or caused the damage that is the subject of the respective warranty claim.
EXCLUSIONS
The following situations are not covered by this warranty:

  1. Any wear and tear of parts and components resulting from normal product use.
  2. Cracks, dents, scratches, and other types of surface damage that only affect the product’s appearance
  3. Any malfunction caused by inappropriate use of the product that does not comply with user manual instructions.
  4. Use and storage of the product not complying with user manual instructions.
  5. Opening of the product by a third party who is not authorized to proceed to its repair.
  6. Altering or changing parts or components, whether internal or external.
  7. Damage caused by battery leakage resulting from the breaking of any of its components, or from product misuse.
  8. Malfunction or damage due to reasons that cannot be ascribed to the production or design of the product.
  9. Use of the product in the context of a business, occupation or commerce.
  10. Malfunction due to use that does not comply with the technical or security norms in force, or with user manual instructions.

The services provided by Prozis in order to repair or fix any fault or malfunction resulting from the verification of any of the aforementioned excluded situations will be subject to payment of labor, transport, and component costs.
The customer shall bear all risks of loss and damage to the product during transportation to Prozis. This warranty will be void if the returned product arrives with labels or stickers that have been removed, damaged, tampered with or modified in any way.

LIMITED RESPONSIBILITY

Prozis cannot be held responsible for indirect damage or loss due to usage of the product.

To request warranty service, you must first contact Prozis customer service via the communication channels provided on the Prozis website, and follow the provided instructions and recommendations.
