Before You Begin

- Do not open this product or attempt to repair the unit yourself should it not be working.
- Low power may cause poor Bluetooth connection or sound distortion.
- Only power this device with its supplied power cable/adapter.
- Do not disassemble, modify, or repair the device.
- Do not overcharge battery.
- Do not allow the power port or the connectors of the supplied power cable/adapter to be exposed to dust, or water, or come into contact with any conductive materials such as liquids, metallic powders, etc.
- The speaker contains a built-in battery and should not be disposed of with regular household waste. Please consult the local authorities on the correct way to dispose of this device.

Getting Started
Charging the Mic
Insert the small connector of the supplied micro-USB cable into the USB
charging port on the underside of the mic. Insert the large connector into the
USB port on a computer, a USB charging device, or a 5V LAB adapter (not
included) and plug into a wall socket.
On low battery, a tone will be periodically heard, indicating that the mic needs to be charged.
Powering ON/OFF
Press and hold the [ ch ] button to power the microphone ON and OFF.
Bluetooth Pairing
- Power the mic ON. A tone will be heard indicating that the mic is power-ed ON. After a moment a voice will be heard indicating the mic is in Bluetooth mode.
- Set your mobile device to search for Bluetooth devices. When it appears, select AR561 from the list of found devices.
- After a successful pairing, a voice will be heard indicating that the mic is connected.
Adjusting Playback & Volume
- Press the [ ] button to pause/resume playback.
- Press the [ ] and [ ] buttons to skip tracks.
- Press and hold the [ + ] and [ – ] buttons to adjust volume.
Using with a Karaoke App
- Pair to your device with Bluetooth (refer to the Bluetooth Pairing section of this user manual).
- Open the karaoke app of your choice.
Using with a Non-Karaoke App
- Pair to your device with Bluetooth (refer to the Bluetooth Pairing section of this user manual).
- Open the music-playing app of your choice.
- While music is playing, press the [ ] button to mute/reduce the volume of the vocals. Not all music apps/files will support this functionality.
Microphone Sound Effects
- Adjust microphone volume and echo effect with the sliders on the front of the mic.
- The volume of the sound effects is controlled with the mic echo slider.
- Press and hold the [ ] button to change the microphone effect.
Using the Audio Output
You can connect the microphone to a pair of headphones or speaker using the audio output jack on the underside of the mic.
Insert the connector of a 3.5 mm AUX cable (not included) into the audio output jack. Insert the other end(s) into the audio input jack of your audio device.

This product as supplied and distributed new by an authorized retailer is
warranted by Southern Telecom, Inc. to the original consumer purchaser against
defects in materials and workmanship (“Warranty”) as follows:

Warranty service not provided
This warranty does not cover damage resulting from accident, misuse, abuse,
improper installation or operation, lack of reasonable care, unauthorized
modification including software modifications such as the installation of
custom firmware. This warranty is voided in the event any unauthorized person
opens, alters or repairs this product. All products being returned to the
authorized service center for repair must be suitably packaged.
