Charging the Speaker

WARNING: Do not charge the device near water!

  1. Open the water-tight rubber cover and connect the small end of the micro USB cable to the micro USB charging port on the side of the speaker.
  2. Connect the larger end of the micro USB cable to your computer or AC adaptor (not included).
  3. The battery indicator [ ] will flash to indicate that the battery is low. It will stop flashing when the micro USB charging cable is inserted.
  4. When the battery indicator is full, remove the micro USB cable.

The speaker’s suction cup can stick to any smooth surface.

NOTE: Do not submerge the unit in water, as this will ruin the speaker.

Pairing the speaker with a Bluetooth-enabled device

  1. Press the [M] button to enter Bluetooth mode. A tone is heard and the LCD Display indicates bt, confirming that the speaker is in pairing mode.

  2. Activate the Bluetooth feature on your mobile device and scan for nearby Bluetooth-enabled devices.

  3. Select AR6001 from the list of found devices.
    The screenshots above are typical of many Bluetooth-enabled devices in the market today and are used to assist in the explanation of the pairing process. Your Bluetooth-enabled device’s interface and interaction with the speaker may differ slightly from the illustrations shown.

  4. If required, enter the password 0000. Select YES or OK to pair with your device.

  5. After a successful pairing, a tone is heard and the LCD Display on the speaker will display the time.

If there are no paired devices in range when the speaker is turned on, it will go into pairing mode automatically. If a paired device is in range, the speaker will connect to it automatically.

Setting the Time

  1. Press the [M] button until LOD Mode is selected.
  2. Quickly press the [ ] button. The “hour” field on the LCD display will flash quickly.
  3. Use the [ ] or [ ] button to set the correct hour.
  4. Press the [ ] button to confirm your entry and place the cursor over the minutes field.
  5. Use the [ ] or [ 1 button to set the correct hour.
  6. Press the [ ] button to confirm your entry.

Using the speaker

Power the Speaker ON and OFF

  1. To turn the speaker on, press and hold the [ ] button for 2 seconds.
  2. To turn the speaker off, press and hold the [ ] button again for 2 seconds.

Adjusting the Volume

  1. Press and hold the [ ] button to decrease the volume.
  2. Press and hold the [ ] button to increase the volume.

Playing Music

  1. Quick press the [M] button until Bluetooth mode is selected.
  2. Quick Press the [ ] button to play and pause music from your playlist.
  3. Quick press the [ ] button to skip to the next track.
  4. Quick the [ ] button to replay the previous track in your playlist.

NOTE:
If you’ve connected the AR6001 to an external media device and are unable to hear your music, increase the volume on your Bluetooth-enabled device to maximum and gradually increase the volume on the speaker by long-pressing the [ ] button.

AM/FM Radio Modes

  1. Quick press the [M button to select FM radio.
  2. Quickly press the [M] button again to select AM radio.
  3. Quick press the [ ] button to search for stations.
  4. Quick press the [ ]or [ ] keys to manually locate pre-saved stations.

NOTE:
Pressing the [ ] again will restart the automatic scanning and erasing of your previously saved stations.

When the device is near water always make sure the cover on the mini USB and aux in port is properly and thoroughly sealed before using the speaker near the water.

Answering and ending Phone Calls

  1. Press the [M] button until Bluetooth mode is selected.
  2. Quick press the [ ] button to answer an incoming call.
  3. Quick press the [ ] button again to end the call.

NOTE:
Phone calls cannot be received unless the speaker is in Bluetooth mode.

Thoroughly dry the speaker before opening the rubber cover for the mint USB charging port. Damage or injury may occur if this is not followed.

Limited Warranty

90 Days Limited Warranty
In the unlikely event that this product is defective, or does not perform properly, you may within ninety (90) days from your original date of purchase return it to the authorized service center for repair or exchange.

  • Provide proof of the date of purchase within the package (Dated bill of sale).
  • Prepay all shipping costs to the authorized service center, and remember to insure your return.
  • Include a return shipping address (no P.O. Boxes), a telephone contact number, and the defective unit within the package.
  • Describe the defect or reason you are returning the product.

Your product will be repaired or replaced, at our option, for the same or similar model of equal value if examination by the service center determines this product is defective. Products received damaged as a result of shipping will require you to file a claim with the carrier.
