INVENTUM MK351 Milk Frother - appliance description

before first use

Before you use the appliance for the first time, please do as follows: Carefully unpack the appliance and remove all the packaging material. Keep the material (plastic bags and cardboard) out of reach of children. Check the appliance after unpacking for any visible damage, possibly from transportation. Place the appliance on a stable and heat-resistant surface.
Clean the lid, the whisk, and the mixer with warm soapy water. Dry the parts thoroughly. Make sure that the parts are completely dry. Wipe the exterior and interior with a soft damp cloth and dry thoroughly. The appliance is only suitable for heating and frothing milk. Never fill the appliance with other drinks.

preparing milk foam

Check that the voltage corresponds with what is stated on the information plate. Insert the plug into the socket.
Mount the whisk at the bottom of the milk frother. Fill the milk frother with the required amount of milk. Take note of the lower maximum indication for frothing milk MAX 115 ml. Frothing milk expands and the milk frother could overflow when using too much milk. The minimum capacity is 75 ml.

Making hot milk froth
Place the cover and place the milk frother on the power base. Briefly press the button to switch on the milk frother. Both indicator leds (blue/ red) light up and the whisk starts to rotate. Depending on the amount of milk, the milk frother stops automatically after approximately 90 seconds. The blue indicator led switched off and the red indicator led continuously flashed for approx. 30 seconds to indicate that the milk frother is ready.
Making cold milk froth
Place the cover and place the milk frother on the power base. Hold the button down for 12 seconds to switch on the milk frother. The blue indicator led lights up and the whisk starts to rotate. Depending on the amount of milk, the milk frother stops automatically after approximately 60 seconds. The blue indicator led switched off and the red indicator led continuously flashed for approx. 30 seconds to indicate that the milk frother is ready.
When the milk frother is ready, remove the cover and pour the milk froth into a mug or cup. Only hold the milk frother by its handle. The rest of the appliances will be hot. Do not use a spoon or other metal object to scoop out the milk froth. This will damage the coating.
After use, the milk frother should be cleaned as described in chapter CLEANING & MAINTENANCE.
Allow the milk frother to cool for 2 minutes before using it again or rinse the milk frother with cold water. By doing this, you can start using it again sooner.

TIPS

  • You will get the best milk froth result with fullcream milk.
  • If there is too little milk in the milk frother (less than 75 ml), the result will be less good.
  • The quality of the milk froth can differ significantly between different brands of milk. Experiment with other brands, if necessary, for a better result.

heating milk

Lift the lid and fit the mixer in the jug. Fill the desired amount of milk into the jug. Do not exceed the maximum of the top max. mark MAX 240 ml. Put the lid back on the jug and place the appliance on the base. Start the preparation by pushing the start button. The control lights (blue/red) will burn and the mixer will start turning. Depending on the filling volume, the preparation stops automatically after 100 to 120 seconds. The blue control light goes out and the red light will blink for about 30 seconds to indicate the milk frother is ready.
After the preparation is completed, remove the lid upwards and pour the hot milk into a cup. After having used the appliance, clean it as described in the chapter Cleaning & Maintenance.
Allow the appliance to cool down for 2 minutes before using it again or rinse it with cold water. The milk frother will be faster and ready to use again.

cleaning & maintenance

Before cleaning always unplug the appliance and let it cool down completely. Clean the appliance immediately after every use.
Remove the whisk or the mixer by pulling it straight upwards. Clean the lid, the whisk, and the mixer with warm soapy water. Dry the parts thoroughly. Rinse the inside of the milk frother with hot water. Never use any aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents or sharp objects that could damage the coating! Dry with a soft cloth. Make sure you remove all the milk residue from the inside. It is not hygienic and can be harmful.
Never immerse the appliance, the power base, the power cord, or plug in water or other liquids. Wipe the outside of the appliance with a damp cloth regularly.

  4. In the event of a large domestic appliance, Inventum, at your request, can send out a service engineer. In that case, you will be charged the callout costs, as well as parts and labor.
  5. In the event of an instruction to repair, the repair costs must be paid in advance. In the event of a repair by a service engineer, the costs of the repair must be settled with the engineer on-site, preferably by means of PIN payment.
