The Sealey Ear Defenders are designed with lightweight yet rugged construction

They are fully approved to protect against high noise levels and comply with
BS EN 352.1 standards.
Safety
- Put the ear defenders on before exposing yourself to noise and wear them during the whole noise exposure.
- Ensure the ear defenders are fitted, adjusted, and maintained as per instructions.

SAFETY
- WARNING! Put the ear defenders on before exposing yourself to noise and wear them during the whole noise exposure. Be warned that failure to adhere to these recommendations will cause the protection afforded by the product to be severely impaired.
- Ensure the ear defenders are fitted, adjusted and maintained in accordance with these instructions.
- Ensure the ear defenders are worn at all times in noisy surroundings.
- Ensure the ear defenders are regularly inspected for serviceability. If damaged, replace the product.
- This product may be adversely affected by certain chemical substances. Further information should be sought from the manufacturer.
- Ear-muffs and in particular the cushions, may deteriorate with use and should be examined at frequent intervals for cracking and leakage, for example.
- The fitting of hygiene covers to the cushions may affect the acoustic performance of the ear muffs.
- Ear protection will be reduced if the defenders are not well-fitted and not regularly checked.
- If the recommendations given in the instructions are not followed, the protection provided by the ear defenders will be significantly reduced.
- NOTE : These ear defenders are of universal size range. Ear defenders complying with EN 352-1 are of universal size range Universal ear-defenders include small, medium and large size and are thus designed to fit the majority of wearers including for those whom medium size does not fit.
ATTENUATION VALUES
USE
- IMPORTANT : protection is only achieved if the hearing protection is worn for the entire duration of time spent in the noisy environment.
- Expand the headband until the protective rings surround the ears and the headband sits firmly on the head.
- Secure the headband so it sits in the center of the head and lays flat.
MAINTENANCE
CLEANING
- Wash with clean water and a household detergent.
- DO NOT use caustic solutions, acids, solvents or strong mechanical cleaning.
STORAGE
- Store in a clean, dry place, between 5-40o
- C, before and after use.
- Avoid direct sunlight.
OBSOLESCENCE
The service life depends on the storage conditions, the degree of wear, and the frequency of use in the respective areas of application. The minimum durability refers to unused articles when stored properly during the whole storage time.

ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste.
