This unit is fitted with radio interference suppression in compliance with the EC directive 87/308/EEC.
It is designed for operation with a mains voltage of 220/230V/50Hz.
CE in accordance with EC directive no. 73/23/EEC, amended by 93/68/EEC, and in accordance with EC directive no. 89/336/EEC.

HOW THE PROMISED PEDISENSO DUO – DIABETIC WORKS

Strong daily pressures, the wrong footwear, incorrect care or lack of care, or metabolic disorders may all lead to foot problems. Diabetics are often affected by foot problems. The disease affects the circulation and nerve damage can occur, particularly to the feet.
This is because wounds and injuries may be affected by reduced pain sensitivity. Wound healing, which is already affected by the disease, is retarded. Wounds and injuries heal poorly and spread further, sometimes even leading to amputation.
But it doesn’t have to go this far. Intensive monitoring and care of the feet, taking care to treat wound-causing pressure points and sharp-edged, ingrown toenails without causing injury, can prevent it.
Promed pedisenso duo offers diabetics and others with sensitive feet the means to care for their feet comfortably and safely. Promed pedisenso duo, the foot care device developed especially for diabetics and sensitive feet, has triple safety functions to prevent injuries.
Triple safety with Promed pedisenso duo means:

• Unique safety system with the yellow safety collet adapter, which stops the rotation of the grinder if pressure is too great.
• High-quality grinders that don’t wear out, are made of damage-resistant synthetic sapphire.
• Smooth speed regulation from 500 to 5,400 rotations per minute. This enables the individual setting of the grinder used for the area of skin or nail under treatment.

INSTRUCTIONS AND TIPS FOR FOOT CARE

• Check your feet daily (e.g. using a mirror), or have a member of your family check them. Check for torn skin, wounds, blisters, ingrowing toenails etc.
• Get your doctor to examine your feet at every appointment and show your doctor any change in the foot area.
• Avoid walking barefoot.
• Wear well-fitting shoes and check your shoes regularly for foreign bodies.
• Avoid extreme temperatures.
• Avoid injuries, and do not use any sharp foot care aids.
• Avoid using caustic corn plasters or disinfectants.
• Wash your feet daily and dry them carefully, especially between the toes.
• If you have dry skin use moisturizing creams or oils, but do not apply them between your toes.
• Avoid crossing your legs, to prevent cutting off the circulation to your feet.

The practical and easy-to-use Promed pedisenso duo manicure/ pedicure set is manufactured to exacting standards and is an outstanding example of German precision engineering and quality. A strong well-proven device with infinitely variable grinding strength regulation. A modern sinker gear ensures strength and safety. It uses a powerful variable speed (500 to 5,400 rpm) electric motor.
Most of the polishing/grinding attachments are manufactured from synthetic sapphire, thus virtually eliminating wear and improving user safety. The introduction of the
Promed pedisenso duo means that care of your hands and feet has never been easier. Its grinding action and fine polishing help to form and strengthen finger and toenails. it quickly and easily removes coarse unsightly skin, callouses, and thick, hardened nails, thus limiting painful pressure. Even unsightly hard corns can be readily removed. The sapphire disc for shortening and shaping finger and toenails results in stronger nails less liable to break. It also limits coarse skin, callouses and dry cracked heels. The felt cone can be used for polishing nails to obtain a shiny finish. Bathe and creme feet only after treatment.
