Parts and Functions

The 2 wire splitter is equipped with the following parts and functions:

IN-USE Status indicator: This indicator shows the status of the device. When standby, it is off. When the device is working, it is on. When there is power protection, it slowly flashes. When the device is in search mode, it fast flashes.
POWER Video match indicator: This indicator shows thevideo match status. When not matched, it is red. When matched, itis orange.
Impedance Switch: This switch is used to set the videomatch. It has two options – ON for video match switch and OFF for distributor mode.
Bus: The input port used for bus connection.
A, B, C, D: The output ports used to connect to indoor monitors.
DIP Switch: Three-bit DIP switches used for DIP settings.

Unit Mounting

To mount the unit, use DIN Rail Mounting. Connect the cables as shown in the wiring diagram.

Product Usage Instructions

Basic IN-OUT expansion wiring (distributor mode)

For basic IN-OUT expansion wiring in distributor mode, follow the steps below:

Connect twisted cable 2×0.75 mm2 to port A.
Connect twisted cable 2×1.00 mm2 to port B.
Connect up to 4 monitors to ports C and D.
Use the wiring diagram for reference.

Multi risers wiring (riser mode)

For multi-risers wiring in riser mode, follow the steps below:

Connect twisted cable 2×0.75 mm2 to port A.
Connect twisted cable 2×1.00 mm2 to port B.
Connect twisted cable 2×0.75 mm2 to port C.
Connect up to 4 risers using the wiring diagram as a reference.

Multi monitors wiring (distributor mode)

For monitors wiring in distributor mode, follow the steps below:

Connect the last DBC4R at the end of the bus.
Set the impedance switch to ON for the last DBC4R.
Connect the monitors using the wiring diagram as a reference.

Q: How many monitors can be connected for every DBC4R?

A: A maximum of 8 monitors can be connected for every DBC4R.

Note:

Operation mode: Protection mode will be activated once its connected devices are short-circuited, and the power supply for ABCD outputs will be turn off, the flashing in-use indicator shows the distributor is in the protection mode.
Self-detection: The system will auto-check whether the short circuit is fixed or not, then recover the power supply, and in-user indication will be turn off;
Detection period: Self-detection will happened regularly according to rules, and in the indicator will flash rapidly three times when the check happens;
- 1st detection will have happened in 10 seconds after short circuit;
- 2nd detection will be happened in 60 seconds after 1st detection;
- 3rd detection will have happened in 5 minutes after 2nd detection;
- 4th detection will be happened in 10 minutes after 3rd detection;
- 5th hereafter detection will be happened every 30 minutes;
