IMPORTANT SAFETY MEASURES AND INSTRUCTIONS:

Please read this manual before operating the appliance and keep it in a safe place for future reference. In case the appliance is obtained by a new owner, it should be transferred together with its manual.

CAUTION: Children under 3 years of age should be kept away from the appliance unless they are under constant supervision.
Children from 3 to 8 years of age are allowed to operate the on/off button ONLY, provided that the appliance is installed and ready for operation and such children have been supervised and instructed in the safe operation of the appliance and they understand all related risks.
Children from 3 to 8 years of age MUST NOT: connect the plug to power sockets, make adjustments, clean it or carry out user maintenance operations.
This appliance can be used by children older than 8 years of age and by people with reduced physical, sensor, and mental capabilities, as well as by people with insufficient experience and knowledge provided they are supervised or instructed in the safe operation of the appliance and understand the related risks.
Children should not be allowed to play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance operations must not be carried out by children without supervision. -
CAUTION: Some of the appliance parts may get very hot during operation and thus cause burns to users. In case there are children and vulnerable people in the room, special attention should be paid.

The power socket must be accessible all the time so that the power plug can be disconnected as fast as possible when necessary! THE APPLIANCE MUST NOT BE INSTALLED BENEATH A POWER SOCKET!

If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

Before connecting the quartz heater to the mains, check if the indicated voltage on the product’s technical plate corresponds to the voltage of the electricity system in your house (office). This appliance is intended only for operation with the voltage indicat5ed on its technical plate.

This appliance should be used only for its intended purpose, i.e. heating of domestic premises. Any other different operation is considered incorrect and consequently dangerous. The manufacturer does not take responsibility for failures resulting from improper and unreasonable operations.
Non-obeying this safety instruction will render the product’s guarantee void! -
Do not leave your house while the appliance is being operated: make sure that the appliance is switched off before leaving your place. Always disconnect the power plug from the socket in case you do not intend to use this appliance for a long time.

The heating appliance is hot during operation; therefore do not touch the hot surfaces. A safe distance of at least 1 meter between the appliance and inflammable materials should be provided.
Position the heater so that possible contact is avoided! -
Do not use this appliance in areas of operation or storage of inflammable materials. Do not operate the appliance in areas with combustible medium (for example in close proximity to inflammable gases or aerosols) – there is a great risk of explosion and fire!

Do not insert and do not allow foreign objects to enter the appliance protection cover openings, because that may CAUSE ELECTRIC SHOCK AND FIRE.

This appliance is not suitable for animal breeding, and it is intended only for indoor operation!

Never touch the appliance with wet or damp hands – there is a risk for your life!

Never pull the power cord or the appliance itself in order to disconnect it from the socket.

Do not cover the appliance! If covered, there is a risk of overheating.

Do not leave the heater unobserved during its operation.

Do not use this appliance outdoors.

Do not use this appliance in close proximity to shower cabins, in bathrooms, or next to swimming pools!

This appliance provides IP24 protection (against water droplets) and may be mounted on premises where the presence of moisture and water droplets is possible in accordance with the installation requirements (defined below) in VOLUME 2 of the provided diagram
that the chance of a person (who is in a shower or in a bath-tub) touching the control mechanisms (switch string or the heating appliance itself) to be avoided! The minimum distance between the appliance and the water source must be at least 1 meter and it is compulsory that the appliance is installed horizontally on a wall!
Note: if the above-mentioned instructions can not be fulfilled it is advisable to carry our installation in VOLUME 3.

CAUTION: Ensure that there is not any water or other liquids dripping down and into the appliance – in case you disobey this instruction there is a real danger to your life from a possible electric shock!

CAUTION: It is compulsory to follow the marked safety distances when installing the appliance on-premises where water droplets are possible – non obeying this instruction leads to real danger to your life by an electric shock!

The electric installation to which the appliance is connected must be equipped with an automatic safety fuse (faulty current protection), and the distance between the contacts, when switched off, must be at least 3mm.

In case the appliance is damaged or is not working properly, you should switch it off and not try to repair it yourself. You should contact an after-sale service center for any kind of repairs and support needed. There is the place where your damaged part will be replaced with an original spare one.
Non-obeying this instruction will compromise the appliance’s safety. -
In case you decide to stop using an appliance of this type, it is advisable to make it unusable by cutting its power cord after you have disconnected it from the electrical system. It is necessary to make the appliance safe (especially for children) in case the disposed appliance might be used for playing.

In order to prevent dangerous overheating of the power cord, it is advisable for the power cord to be fully unwound!

Warning: Do not use this heating appliance with a programming device, clock, separate remote control system, or any other device that automatically switches on the appliance, as there is a risk of fire if the appliance is covered or improperly installed.

Use only approved extension cords, which are suitable for this appliance, i.e. they have a conformity sign!

The power cord must not get in contact with the hot surfaces of the appliance!

Never move this appliance by pulling its power cord and do not use the power cord for carrying any objects!

Do not bend the power cord and do not pull it around sharp edges. Do not position the power cord onto hot plates or open fire!

In case the appliance is not to be used for a long period of time, you should pack it together with its manual in its original packing and store it in a dry and well-ventilated place.

The appliance must not be installed onto ceilings!

WARNING: This heating appliance is not equipped with a temperature controlling device. Do not operate this heating appliance in small premises when there are people inside, who are unable to leave the room by themselves unless permanent supervision is provided.

The appliance must be installed on a wall in a stable horizontal position and at least 1.8 meters above the floor. Distance to the ceiling should be at least 0.75 meters.
CAUTION: Do not install the appliance vertically or in an inclined position!
PACKING
- After unpacking the appliance, check if any damages have occurred during transportation or whether the appliance set is complete! In case of damage or incomplete packing, you should contact your official retailer!
- Do not dispose of the original packing! It could be used for storage and transportation purposes in order to prevent possible damage!
- Disposal of packing materials should be done in a proper manner! Children should be prevented from playing with polyethylene bags!
INSTALLATION
Important: Before assembling the appliance – check if the package contains all indicated parts!

Wall installation
- Important: Ensure that there are not any elements of an electrical system or piping close to the drilling openings. Ensure one more time that the appliance is installed firmly, reliably, and horizontally on the wall!
- In order to install the appliance onto the wall, use the brace provided in the appliance set.
- Drill three holes (1), so that the feet (2) of the wall brace are in a vertical position.
- Slide the plastic body of the heating appliance into the wall brace above, until it gets fixed. In this way, the feet (2) of the wall brace settle into the openings (3) of the plastic body.
Thank you for buying QH04 120 heating appliance. This is a product that provides heating at three possible levels: 600W or 1200W depending on the customer’s needs for comfortable room temperature. By correct operation and maintenance as defined in this manual, your appliance will give you many years of useful operation.
SWITCHING ON THE APPLIANCE
- You must read the safety measures first (important safety precautions passage)
- The quartz heater is designed to heat objects and people to who it is directed; it does not heat the room air directly during its operation.
- The quantity of radiated heat is set by a switch (regulator).
- The display shows the selected heating level
Setting the heating level
The heating levels are set by pulling the switch string (3) once or a few
times. The selected heating level is presented on the display (2).
- Switched off appliance = display shows “0”, the heating elements are not working
- Minimum power = display shows “1”, 1 heating element is working
- Maximum power = display shows “2”, 2 heating elements are working
- CLEANING & STORAGE
We recommend the appliance be cleaned at least once a month, as well as before a long storage period.
- It is compulsory first to switch off the appliance and disconnect the power plug from the socket.
Do not use abrasive cleaning materials!
CAUTION: Do not use water, wax, polishing materials, and other chemical solutions.
- Clean the appliance body with a dry cloth, vacuum cleaner, or soft long-hair brush
- Never immerse the appliance into the water – there is a danger to your life!
- In case that appliance is not to be used for a long period of time, you should pack it (including this manual) into its original packing and store it in a dry and well-ventilated place.
- Never put the hot appliance into its packing!
Instructions on Environment protection:
Obsolete electric appliances contain valuable materials and consequently
should not be disposed of as domestic waste! We ask you for your cooperation
to protect the natural resources and the environment by returning the
appliance to organized buy-back stations (if there are such).
