IMPORTANT SAFETY PRECAUTIONS:
WARNING!

Please read this manual before operating the appliance and keep it at a safe place for future reference. In case the appliance is obtained by a new owner, it should be transferred together with its manual.

CAUTION: Children under 3 years of age should be kept away from the appliance unless they are under constant supervision.
Children from 3 to 8 years of age are allowed to operate the on/off button ONLY, provided that the appliance is installed and ready for operation and such children have been supervised and instructed in the safe operation of the appliance and they understand all related risks.
Children from 3 to 8 years of age MUST NOT: connect the plug to power sockets, make adjustments, clean it or carry out user maintenance operations.
This appliance can be used by children older than
8 years of age and by people with reduced physical, sensor, and mental capabilities, as well as by people with insufficient experience and knowledge provided they are supervised or instructed in the safe operation
of the appliance and understand the related risks. Children should not be allowed to play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance operations must not be carried out by children without supervision. -
CAUTION: Some of the appliance parts may get very hot during operation and thus cause burns to users. In case there are children and vulnerable people in the room, special attention should be paid.

overheating, do not cover the appliance! -
The appliance should not be positioned close under power sockets!

If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

Before connecting the fan heater, you should check if the voltage on the technical information plate corresponds to the voltage of the main electrical system of the place of use /at home or in the office/. The appliance is intended for the voltage, shown on the technical information plate.

This appliance must be used only with its main function, which it was intended for, i.e. heating
of domestic premises. Every different usage is considered incorrect and hence dangerous. The manufacturer does not assume responsibility for breakdowns, caused by incorrect and unreasonable usage. Non-adherence to the safety precautions will render the guarantee invalid. -
Do not leave your home, while the appliance is turned on: assure that the switch is in position OFF(0) (turned-off) and the thermostat switch is in position – minimum. Always disconnect the plug of the device from the socket.

Keep inflammable objects as furniture, cushions, bedding, paper, clothes, curtains etc. at a distance of a minimum of 100 cm away from the fan heater.

Do not use the device in areas of usage and storage of inflammable substances. Do not use the device in combustible areas /for example near inflammable gases and aerosols/ – there is a great risk of explosion and fire!

Do not insert or allow any objects to get into the ventilation openings (inlets and outlets), because that can cause a break-down of the appliance or any other damage.

The appliance is not suitable for animal breeding and is intended only for domestic use!

Keep the air inlet and outlet free from any objects: you should keep a clear distance of at least 1m in front and 50cm behind the heater. Do not allow any objects to get into the air inlet or outlet because that can cause electrical shock, fire or damage of the heating element.

The most common reason for overheating is the accumulation of dust and dirt in the appliance. You should clean regularly ventilation openings with a vacuum cleaner. Before cleaning you must disconnect the appliance from the mains. Keep the fan heater always clean.

You should never touch the appliance with wet or moist hands – there is a danger to your life!

In order to disconnect the plug from the socket-outlet when necessary, the socket should be accessible all the time!
-
You must never pull the electric cord or the appliance itself when disconnecting from the mains.
-
Warning! The air outlet gets hot when the appliance is operating (more than 80°С).

Do not cover the appliance. If the appliance is covered there is a danger of overheating.
-
Do not use the fan heater in close proximity of the bathroom, shower, or swimming pool.
-
The electrical system to which the appliance is connected must be provided with an automatic safety fuse. The distance between the sockets and the appliance (in a turned-off state) must be at least 3mm.

Grounding is forbidden! After unpacking and before use you must check if the mechanical parts and their gear are in a good state. If you have any doubts you should not use the appliance and search for advice from a qualified electrician.

If the appliance is damaged or not functioning properly you must stop it and not try to repair it yourself. For any type of repairs, you must consult the Service Center for post-sale help. There you will have your damaged part replaced with an original spare one. Not obeying this instruction will compromise the appliance’s safety.

If you decide to stop using an appliance of that kind it is recommended to make it unusable as you cut the electric cord, after you have disconnected it from the mains. It is also recommended all hazards, related to the appliance to be checked. That is
very important if there is a chance the discarded appliance to be used for play by children. -
You should never keep the appliance unnecessarily plugged in. Disconnect the appliance from the mains if you do not intend to use it for a long time.

In order to avoid any overheating of the electric cord, it is recommended to unreel the whole electric cord.

Warning: Do not use this appliance with a programmer, counter, or another device that can automatically turn it on because if the appliance is covered or incorrectly positioned there is a danger of fire.

Place the electric cord in such a way that it does not hamper the movement of people and not be stepped on! You must use only approved connection blocks, which are suitable for the appliance, i.e. there is a sign of compliance!

The electric cord must not be in touch with the hot parts of the appliance!
-
You must never move the appliance by pulling it by its electric cord. You must never use the electric cord for moving of other objects.
-
Do not reel the electric cord around the appliance! Do not use the appliance with its electric cord reeled – this is also valid if a cable drum is used!

Do not press the cord and do not stretch it by sharp edges. Do not place the cord over hot plates or in open fire!
PACKAGE
- After unpacking the appliance you should check if it is not damaged during transportation and if all the components are included! In case you find out any damage or incomplete package you should connect with your authorized retailer!
- Do not discard the original packing box! It could be used to store the appliance during transportation in order for damages to be avoided!
- The disposal of the packing material should be done in the appropriate way! Children should be prevented from playing with polyethylene bags!
INSTALLATION
The heater must be mounted on a wall before usage. Your appliance shall be
used only in fixed position and shall be installed at least at 1.80m from the
ground and at least 25 сm from both corners of the wall and a minimum distance
of 60cm from the ceiling. Do not install/place the appliance on the floor.
(Respect the installation rules given below).
The sequence of mounting the appliance is as follows:
- Select the place for installation while observing the requirements described in the beginning of the manual.
- Drill 2 holes of ø8 mm in the wall, at a height of 1.8 m and at a distance of 39.8 cm from each other. Make sure the diameter of the holes is identical to the one of the plastic wall plug.
- Place and screw the two screws into the wall plugs but leave the screw heads projecting out at 15 mm. Make sure the screws are steadily attached to the wall and mount the appliance.
We thank you for choosing the HL-274W PTC W fan heater. This is a product, which provides heating at 1000W or 2000W in cold weather in accordance with the desired temperature conditions in the room. The appliance will provide long-life service if being correctly maintained and taken care of in accordance with the manual.
FUNCTION INSTRUCTION
Remote control
- Plugin and switch on by pressing the red switch 0/I, enter into standby mode and display shows“S”
- 2. Press, button, enter into fan mode and the display shows „- -“
- Press, a button one time, the product works with low heating(1000W), and the display shows“– / I”. Press again, changes to high heating (2000W), and the display shows “ — / I / II”.
- Press, the button to set the timer(00-12hours). Pressing the button one time increases one hour for the timer. After setting time, the display will show the current set time for 5 seconds, then resume to the previous display, meanwhile the light of. will on. Below photo is an example of setting 8h:
- Appointment “ON”: In standby mode, press, the timer button, and you can set the appointment turn-on time in 00-12 hours. After complete setting, the display shows the appointment turn-on time and also the light. is on. The display automatically decreases 1 hour for each hour passed. When the appointment power-on time arrived, the product will automatically turn on. The default setting temperature is 23°C during appointment turn-on. Below photos is an example to set an appointment turn-on time to 8 hours:
Note :
If not set the temperature and weekly program, the product will automatically
turn off after 12 hours of continuous work, and enter into standby.
Function operation (ONLY by remote control)

Set current TIME/DAY (can set both under standby mode & working status):
Press, a button for one time, the display shows ”12“ as default, press /, to set the current hour; press
, again, the display shows minute “30“, press / , to set the current minute, then press, for the third time, the display shows the day „d1“, press / , to set the current day(Monday-Sunday: d1-d7). Then press, to confirm the setting, and the display will show previous settings.
For example: Set to Wednesday, 9:30 AM under 25°C under II heating pls. refer to the following photos.
Note:- After the product is powered off, it needs to be reset, then press, to check the current time & day in turn;
- The timer is in 24 hours.

Set temperature
During working status, Press / , and the display shows „23“ as default. Press /, to set the desired temperature (temperature range 10-49°C), press, to confirm the setting.
For example, The current ambient temperature is 15°C, when set temperature to 25°C,the display shows as below:
Note: When setting temperature, it will use the SMART working way:
- Setting temperature – ambient temperature>2°C, working with high power-2000W;
- 0°C<Setting temperature – ambient temperature=<2°C, working with low power-1000W;
- Setting temperature – ambient temperature=0°C, the cool fan will work for 30seconds to below out the heating left inside, and then enter into standby mode.
- After entering into standby mode, if the machine cools down and:
Setting temperature – ambient temperature>=2°C, the machine will wake up and
resume to heating.
If you want to cancel the setting temperature, press, the key to choose
heating I or II, the product will work without setting the temperature. While
the display will go off, and will show “–”. After continuous heating for
12hours, the cool fan will work for 30seconds and enter standby mode.
Set weekly program (ONLY by remote control)
After complete setting of the current TIME/DAY, below are the steps to set the
weekly program:

Press and the product enter into working status.

Press , the display shows ”P“, it enters into the weekly program setting
-
Press and the display show d1~d7, set to the working day (Monday-Sunday: d1~d7). Such as set Monday
Note: In order to distinguish between setting current day & working day: -
Press, and the display shows P1~P6 (for each day, it can be set maximum 6 time periods). Such as setting P1:

Press and the display show 00” as default. Press, continuously to set the turn-on time. Such asset is the turn-on time of 7:00 am (As figure );

Press, the display shows the previous step turn off time by default. Press , continuously to set the turn-off time. Such as set the shutdown time at 13:00 pm:

Press / , to set the target temperature (Temperature range 10-49°C);

Repeat steps 2-7 above, you can set the whole weekly program. Then press, to confirmed;

To cancel the weekly function, press the again, the light „P“ will go off. The weekly program is off. The product will revert to the previous function working status.
Note:
- After the above setting are completed and the P program is working, press / / /, to check the setting time of each day and time periods,
- Press / , set working temperature under different time periods.
- The turn-on time periods 00~24hours, cannot be set to minutes;
- The“TIME/OFF” can not be less than“TIME/ON”;
- When the“TIME/ON” is the same as“TIME/OFF”, the time period enter into standby mode;
Set open-window detection (ONLY by remote control):
- Press, and the product enters into working status Heating for a moment until stable.
- Press by remote control, light. /°C; will on; The temperature display”23”by default. Press / , to set target temperature. During open-window detection mode, once the ambient temperature drops 5-10°C within 10 minutes, then the product will stop working within 30 minutes and enter into standby mode. Then press, to turn on the product.
- When turn on at the same time for both open-window detection and weekly program, during the OFF period of the weekly program, the product doesn’t work. During the working status of the weekly program, the temperature is subject to the setting temperature of open-window detection. Below is an example:
Note: Before turning on the weekly program: it must set day and time
period, otherwise the weekly default state is “00”, which does not work.
Note: The device shows the temperature around the location of the sensor
and is not a means of accurately measuring the ambient temperature.
CLEANING
- You must first turn off the appliance and disconnect its plug from the socket. Do not use abrasive detergents!
- Clean the body with a wet cloth, vacuum cleaner, or brush!
- You must never submerge the appliance underwater – there is life danger!
- If the appliance should not be used for a certain period of time it must be secured from excessive dirt and dust by placing it in its original package.
- You must never place the hot appliance in its package!
WARNING
- Do not use the appliance next to the shower, bath, shower room, swimming pool, etc.
- The appliance always should be used in an upright position.
- Do not use the fan heater for laundry drying. Never cover the inlet and outlet grating (there is a risk of overheating). The appliance must be placed at a distance of a minimum 50 cm from furniture and other objects.
- The appliance must be placed so that its control switches are not in the hand range of persons using the bath or shower.
- Do not use the appliance in rooms smaller than 4 square meters.
OVERHEATING PROTECTION
The in-built overheating protection automatically turns the appliance off in case of an error! In that situation, the plug must be disconnected from the mains and the control switch put in position “0”. After a short period of cooling the appliance is ready for operation (in about 10-15 minutes)! If that error is repeated – consult an authorized service at your location.
Instructions for environment protection
Electric appliances out of use contain valuable materials and hence must not be disposed of in domestic dumbs! We kindly ask you for cooperation and an active role in the preservation of natural resources by disposing of the appliance at the organized buy-back locations (if there are any).
