Attach the skid plate to the Woodcraft cover by bolting it from the inside using the 5mm flathead bolts. The 60-2500 rubber pad should also adhere to the back side of the cover.
IMPORTANT –
USE THREAD LOCKING COMPOUND ON THE THREE SKID PLATE MOUNTING BOLTS. Coat the
threads completely and allow the thread-locking compound to be fully set
before use.

Install the Woodcraft cover using the included mounting hardware in the 4 locations shown at the right. The 04-SP100B spacers go between the cover and the engine at the two bolt locations on the right side. The torque for all the main 6mm mounting bolts is about 7 ft-lbs

Start the motorcycle and inspect for any leaks before riding.
WARNING
Installation of Woodcraft Billet Covers involves the removal and
reinstallation of certain factory components such as fasteners, alternator
stators, and oil-retention gaskets. FAILURE TO INSTALL THESE COMPONENTS IN
COMPLIANCE WITH ALL SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS SUPPLIED WITH THE BILLET COVER KIT,
MAY CAUSE OIL LOSS OR DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE RESULTING IN LOSS OF CONTROL OF THE
MOTORCYCLE AND SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH.
