WOODCRAFT RSV4 Brake Light Switch

Product Information

This Aprilia brake pressure switch is designed to replace the rear master cylinder banjo bolt. It is compatible with the OEM wire harness and battery. The banjo bolt is the bolt that connects the rear brake line to the master cylinder.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Disconnect the positive and negative battery terminals.
  2. Replace the banjo bolt with the pressure switch. Make sure to use the new crush washers included in the kit.
  3. Route the wires connected to the brake pressure switch underneath the seat. It is important to ensure that the wiring is secure and will not interfere with rearset operation.

WARNING: Improper installation and/or failure to comply with all warnings and instructions may cause a loss of control and serious injury or death. The motorcycle should be run and thoroughly inspected before use. DO NOT INSTALL OR USE THIS PRODUCT IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO DO SO IN COMPLIANCE WITH ALL INSTRUCTIONS AND WARNINGS. Installation Instructions

This Aprilia brake pressure switch replaces your rear master cylinder banjo bolt and will connect to the OEM wire harness and battery. The banjo bolt is the bolt that connects your rear brake line to your master cylinder.

  1. Disconnect the positive and negative battery terminals.

  2. Replace the banjo bolt with the pressure switch. Be sure to use the new crush washers included in the kit.

  3. Route the wires connected to the brake pressure switch underneath the seat. Important – ensure that the wiring is secure and will not interfere with rearset operation.

  4. Connect the Woodcraft Brake Pressure switch connector using the OEM connection.
    Installation Instructions

  5. Use a ziptie to secure the Woodcraft relay assembly to the sub-frame. Double check that the wiring is secure and will not interfere with the seat installation.

  6. Secure the Woodcraft brake pressure switch battery connections to the battery along with the main battery connections that were removed in step1.

  7. Bleed brake system to remove all air from the braking system.
