ATTENTION

  1. DO NOT look straight into the projector lens while it is working to avoid burning your eyes.
  2. DO NOT place the machine in a hot or humid place to avoid leading to internal components breaking down.

QUICKSTART

  1. Plug the power cord into an outlet.
  2. Take off the lens cover.
  3. Press the power button to turn on the projector.
  4. Wait for the projector to focus automatically.
  5. Connect your device to the projector with the correct cables.
  6. Select the correct input source on the projector or remote to protect your device.
  7. Adjust the height adjustment knob. (Recommend the angle between the projector and the horizontal plane is less than 15 °.)

FOCUS AND KEYSTONE CORRECTION

The Agreago GC357 projector enjoys automatic and electronic and

functions.
  • Automatic: The projector automatically performs Focus or Keystone Correction when turned on. No manual operation.
  • Electronic: By using the remote to adjust the Focus or Keystone Correc­tion manually.

About the Focus Function

  1. By default, every time the projector is turned on or moved, it will automatically focus and adjust the picture to be clear. (You can turn off “Auto Focus” or “Auto Focus Once Powered On” in Projection Image Settings.)Agreago-GC357-Auto-Focus-Video-Projector-FIG-12
  2. When you think that the automatic focus cannot make the image clear enough, you can use the focus button(F+&F-) on the remote to perform manual electronic focus to make the image reach your satisfaction.

About the Keystone Correction
6D Automatic Keystone Correction
This projector defaults to automatic keystone correction in the vertical direction. When the projection screen moves in the vertical direction, the screen in the vertical direction will be automatically adjusted to a rectangle.
You can turn on automatic keystone correction for the horizontal orientation in Projection Image Settings. When this setting is turned on, the projector will also automatically adjust the picture to a rectangle in the horizontal direction.

4P Manual Keystone Correction

4P manual keystone correction refers to selecting the four comer points of the projection screen one by one through the remote and then performing screen corrections. The following is the setting path for 4-point keystone correction:
Step1. Go to Settings>Projection Image Settings>Four Point Keystone Step2. Press the “OK” button on the remote to select the point that needs to be adjusted, and press the arrow button” ” to adjust. (Press the Menu button ” ” to restore the Keystone Correction to the default state. )Agreago-GC357

Tips: Based on optical principles, the best picture can be obtained when the projection direction of the projector is facing the screen. It is normal for the picture to be distorted when the projection direction deviates from the direction perpendicular to the screen. In order to get the best image, please keep the projector straight across from the screen.

MULTIMEDIA CONNECTION
USB Connection
Step 1: Turn on the projector and insert your USB disk into the “USB 1” or “USB 2” port slots.

Step 2: Go to the HOME page and select the file category you would like to display among “Video”, “Music”, “Photo”, and “Office Suite”, then access the USB disk to check all files stored.

Video files

  1. CD Select “Video” to correspondingly read video files stored.
  2. Tap “OK” on the projector or remote for a certain video file to enter a full-screen display.

Video Format Supported:
AV/MP4/MKV/FLV/MOV/RMVB/3G2/MPGNOB/SWF/MPG/H.264/TS/WMV

Audio files

  1. CD Select “Music” to correspondingly read audio files stored.
  2. Tap “OK” on the projector or remote for a certain audio file to enter the full-screen display.

Audio Format Supported:
MP3/WMA/OGG/MC/FLAC/APE/WAV/AC3
Photo files

  1. CD Select “Photo” to correspondingly read photo files stored.
  2. Tap “OK” on the projector or remote for a certain photo file to enter the full-screen display.

Image Format Supported: JPEG/BMP/PNG

Document files

  1. CD Select “Office Suite” to correspondingly read document files stored.
  2. Tap “OK” on the projector or remote to view the contents of a certain file. Text Format Supported: PowerPoint/Word/Excel/TXT

Step 3: Tap “ on the projector or remote to go back to the HOME page.

HDMI Connection

Step 2: Select “HDMI” on the HOME page as the input source according to the port you use, then the contents of your device will be projected to the screen/wall.

For Windows Laptop
For Windows 7 or higher systems, press the “Windows + P” key combi­nation to access four display modes.

  1. PC screen-only option displays contents on a computer screen only.
  2. The duplicate option displays the same contents on both the computer screen and the projected screen.
  3. Extend option splits the display between the computer screen and the projected screen.
  4. The Second screen option displays contents only on the projected screen.

For MacBook
To connect the MacBook, you can use an Apple MFi-certified USB C to HDMI adapter or an Apple MFi-certified Thunderbolt to HDMI adapter.Agreago-GC357

For iPhone
An Apple Lightning Digital AV Adapter (not included) is required for the connection. Most streaming software works well via this adapter.Agreago-

AV Connection

Step 2: Select “AV” on the HOME page as the input source, then the contents of your device will be projected to the screen/wall.
SCREEN MIRRORING
Important: Before screen mirroring, please first select “iOS Cast” or “Android Cast” on the HOME page according to your need.
For iOS System
Method 1 Streaming with Cellular Data

Method 2 Streaming with Your Router’s WiFi

  2. Make sure that your iOS device is connected to the same WiFi.

Method 3 Streaming with a Cable

  1. Select “iOS Cast” > “iOS Wired Cast” on the homepage first.Agreago-GC357-Auto-Focus-Video-Projector-FIG-32
  2. Prepare an official Lightning to USB Cable, then plug it into the USB slot of the projector to connect your device.
  3. Click “Trust” when connecting with the iOS device.
  4. The wired connection success.

Tips
When operating these steps, ensure that the input source on the HOME page is set to “iOS Cast”. If you switch to another input, you won’t be able to connect to your Apple device.

For Android System
Android Cast via WiFi or Cellular Data

  1. Select “Android Cast” on the HOME page first.
  2. Turn on your phone’s WLAN.
  3. Turn on “Smart View” in your Android device’s settings, then select “GC357” to connect. (Different Android phones have different casting names, e.g Screen Cast, Wireless Projection, Wireless Display, Cast etc.)Agreago-GC357-Auto-Focus-Video-Projector-FIG-35

Tips

  1. When operating the steps above, ensure that the input source on the HOME page is set to “Android Cast”. If you switch to another input, you won’t be able to connect to your Android device.
  2. The method of WiFi connection to the projector is the same as the Cellular Data connection. You are free to choose according to your needs. If your phone’s WLAN is not connected to WiFi, you will use Cellular Data when you play web apps or videos.

Notes for Screen Mirroring

  1. The smoothness of the projector connection is affected by the strength of your WiFi signal.
  2. If you connect the projector via a new WiFi the first time, please enter the WiFi password in the projector.
  3. If your phone cannot recognize the projector, please reset the projector.
  4. Some videos or streaming software(Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney, Hulu, etc) themselves are protected by the creator’s copyright so do not support Screen Mirroring. This is a common phenomenon in the market. It’s not the problem with this projector.HDMI connections help Agreago projectors on this issue:
  5. For iPhone, please use an official Apple Lightning Digital AV Adapter.
  6. For PC/Laptop, please use the HDMI cable(included) to connect.
  7. For TV sticks, streaming software will work well.

BLUETOOTH FUNCTION

Please select “Bluetooth” on the HOME page. Then you can see there are two modes of Bluetooth use. You can choose according to your needs.Agreago-GC357

Mode 1 Make this Projector Connect to a Bluetooth Speaker

  1. Choose “Mode 1.” Then turn on the Bluetooth and select “Scan for Devices” to scan nearby Bluetooth speakers.
  2. Select your Bluetooth speaker from the list, and press “OK” button to connect (pair).

Tips

  1. Bluetooth function is mainly used to connect a Bluetooth speaker to improve the sound when you need. Not for phone data or video transmission.
  2. If the projector’s Bluetooth can’t recognize your speaker, please try to reset the projector and turn off your speaker then turn it on again.

Mode 2 Make a Phone Connect to this Projector via Bluetooth

  1. Choose “Mode 2.” The projector becomes a speaker.

Tips
When using this method, your projector is equivalent to a speaker. Only for sound transmission. Not for phone data or video transmission.

  1. The recommended projection distance varies with different projection contents. Please adjust the distance between the wall/screen and the projector properly as needed. (1.5m-3m recommended)

  3. Please keep the projector straight across from the screen to get a clear image.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Q: Why doesn’t the autofocus function work?
A: Please gently lift the projector and lower it. Then the projector will focus automatically again. You can also try to adjust the focus on the remote.
Q: Why there is no sound when playing Netflix videos?
A: Due to copyright restrictions, some videos or streaming software (e.g. Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, etc.) themselves do not support Screen Mirror­ing. This is a common phenomenon in the market. HDMI connections help Agreago projector with this issue:

  1. For iPhone, please use an official Apple Lightning Digital AV Adapter.
  2. For PC/Laptop, please use the HDMI cable(included) to connect.
  3. For TV sticks, streaming software will work well.

Q: How to upside down the picture?
A: Please go to HOME > Image Settings > Rotate to flip the projection picture as your need.
Q: Why the projector is not bright enough?
A: Please use all home projectors in a dark environment.
Q: Why the image is not clear?
A: Please move the projector to get a suitable screen size and keep the optimum projection distance is 1.5m-3m. (For all home projectors, the projection edge is not as clear as the center.)
