GETTING STARTED
- Open Cover (C1)
- Connect the power cord to the wall outlet
- Replace cover, place the unit onto flat surface; the unit is ready for use now.
TIME AND ALARM SETTING
Radio Controlled Time:
-
After the start-up of the unit, the clock automatically starts to scan the DCF time signal. Radio Control Icon “ ” (A1) flashes on LCD.

The clock automatically synchronized with the DCF radio signal every day at 2.00 am & 3.00 am to maintain accurate time keeping. If synchronization with the DCF radio signal fails,
“ ” on LCD disappear and the clock then attempts to synchronize with the DCF radio signal at 4.00 am and 5 am. -
The clock can be set to scan the radio signal manually by holding “-” buttons (B3) for 3 seconds. Each reception takes around several minutes. If receptions fail, scanning stops.
(“ ” on LCD disappear) and repeats again on next full hour. E.g. scanning failed at 8:20 a.m. It will scan again at 9:00 a.m. -
Stop scanning DCF radio signal by holding “-” button (B3) for 3 seconds.

Manual Time Setting:
- In time display, Press “ TIME” button (B2) to select to view:
- In time display, hold “TIME” button (B2) for 3 seconds to enter Clock/Calendar setting Mode.
- Press “-” (B3) or “+” (B4) button to adjust the setting and press “TIME” button (B2) to confirm each setting. (By keeping the “-” (B3) or “+” (B4) button pressed, could accelerate the process and reach the desired value more quickly)
- The setting sequence is shown as follows, 12/24 Time format, Time Zone, Hour, Minute, Year, Month, Date, Language of Weekday, C/F.
- There are 8 languages, English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Danish and Russian, for day of week. The languages and their selected abbreviations for each day of the week are shown in the following table.
Note:
- All Setting mode will automatically exit in around 15 seconds without any adjustment
- For Time Zone: If you receive no RC-DCF frequency signal, the time zone should be set to 0. Time Zone is used in countries which can received the DCF frequency signal but the time zone is different from German Time ( i.e. GMT+1).
Daily Alarm Setting:
- Press “ ALARM” button (B5) to view alarm time and activate alarm function. Alarm icon “ ” appears on the display:
- When viewing the alarm time, hold “ALARM” button (B5) for 3 seconds to enter Alarm Time setting. Press “-” (B3) or “+” (B4) button to adjust the alarm time. Press “ALARM” button (B5) to confirm the setting.
- When alarm alerts, except “SNOOZE” button, press any buttons to stop the alarm. Otherwise, the alarm signal sounds for about 2 minutes, then stops automatically
- Press “SNOOZE” (B1) button when alarm alerts. The alarm snoozes for around 5 minutes, then it alerts again. “ ” flashes on the LCD during the snooze time. The snooze function can be enabled for maximum 7 times.
THERMOMETER
If the temperature is out of the measurable range, LL.L ( beyond the minimum temperature) or HH.H (beyond the maximum temperature) will be shown on the LCD.
BACKLIGHT
Hold “DIMMER” button (B1) around 3 seconds to select the brighter or darker display or turn off backlight.
PRECAUTIONS
- The clock loses its time information when the adaptor is removed.
- Do not expose it to direct sunlight, heavy heat, cold, high humidity or wet areas
- Never clean the device using abrasive or corrosive materials or products. Abrasive cleaning agents may scratch plastic parts and corrode electronic circuits

electric current. Always turn off the product when you don’t use it or before
a revision. There aren’t any parts in this appliance that are reparable by
consumers. Always appeal to a qualified authorized service. The product is
