Trouble Shooting

This adapter supports dual monitors for MacBooks with an Intel chip but only supports a single monitor for MacBooks with the new M1 chip. This is a limitation of the new M1 chip.
If you are using this MacBook USB-C multi-port adapter to charge your phone or connect a large external HDD or other USB devices that consume a large amount of power, you must connect your MacBook’s power adapter.
The USB-C port labelled POWER is for connecting to your MacBook’s power adapter only and cannot be used to connect phones or other USB devices to charge or transfer data.
If you are experiencing intermittent connection problems, unplug and replug the USB-C multi-port adapter.
If your MacBook’s power adapter is disconnected, all device connections will be lost for a few seconds before reconnecting. During this time, data can be lost. Do not disconnect the power while transferring data to avoid data loss or corruption.
During operation, the USB-C multi-port adapter may become hot. This is normal and should not be cause for concern. To minimise heat, please use the adapter on a desk or table in a well-ventilated area. Avoid using on soft pillows or blankets to avoid blocking the ventilation.
For a stable connection, do not connect multiple devices that consume large amounts of power. The adapter will only support one external HDD and charge only one phone.
