Trouble Shooting

Connection Issues
If you are experiencing connection problems, unplug and replug the USB-C multiport adapter or unplug and replug the connection that is experiencing problems.

If you are using one of the USB-A ports to charge your phone, or connect a large external storage device or other USB device that consumes a large amount of power, and you are not using the MacBooks MagSafe charger you must connect a USB-C power supply to the multiport adapter.

If the MacBook’s power supply is disconnected, all device connections will be lost for a few seconds before reconnecting.

During this time, data can be lost. Do not disconnect the power while transferring data to avoid data loss or corruption.
