SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Read these instructions thoroughly before using the appliance. Keep this instruction manual for future reference or new users. This device is designed for personal use only and is not suitable for commercial or industrial use. Do not leave children and animals unsupervised with the device and keep the packaging material away from them in order to prevent suffocation. Do not operate this appliance if there are any visible signs of damage. Always check for damage before each use and in case of malfunction, contact the Technical Support Service of Cecotec. Keep the device away from electromagnetic fields (mobile telephones, remote controls, etc.). Measurement accuracy could be affected. Keep the device away from heat sources. Do not use the device outdoors. Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures, moisture, wet conditions or direct sunlight. Keep water and other liquids away from the device. Wide temperature variations could cause condensation. In this case, allow the device to go back to room temperature before use. Do not drop the device or jump on its measuring surface. Do not stand on the scale with wet feet and make sure the measuring surface and the surface underneath is dry. Do not stand on the edge of the scale. Do not use caustic or abrasive cleaning materials to clean the device, this could damage the surface. This scale is intended to be used for determining body weight, analysing water, body fat, muscle and bone mass proportion in the body and calculating Body Mass Index (BMI). The calculated results are simple reference values. Do not use these results as the basis for any form of medical treatment or diet and contact a professional for any doubt. Body analysis function is not suitable for: People under the age of 10 or over the age of 70. People with a pacemaker or any other medical implant with electronic components. People with fever, oedema or osteoporosis symptoms. People undergoing dialysis treatment. People who are taking cardio-vascular medication. Pregnant women. Athletic or muscular body type (body builders). The device withstands a maximum body weight of 180 kg.

BEFORE USE

Take the device out of its package and remove all packaging material. Check carefully if there is any damage. If there are any, contact the official Technical Support Service of Cecotec.

OPERATION

• Place the device on a solid, dry and flat surface (avoid carpets). Uneven floors will result in inaccurate measurement results. Fig. 3.

• Gently and quickly stamp 3 or more times on the EcoPower push button, this will automatically generate battery to turn the device on. Fig. 4.

• Continue to push the button not less than 3 times if the battery is low. Units setting Fig. 5.

• Change de measuring unit by using the switch on the back of the device or through “AirScale U+”. Using the scale for weighing Fig. 6.

• Gently and quickly stamp 3 or more times on the EcoPower push button, this will automatically generate battery to turn the device on. Wait until “0.0” is displayed. Fig. 7.

• Stand steadily on the scale. It will display the weight after blinking.
  Note: Always stand on the scale with bare and clean feet. Fig. 8. Fig. 9.

• The screen will display “0.0” and will automatically turn off after a few seconds.
  Note: For accurate results, ensure your feet make good contact with the metal electrodes.

CONNECTIVITY WITH APP

This Smartphone App is compatible with iPhone versions 5 and above, and Android version 6.0 and above. To download AirScale U+ Go to Google Play or App Store and search for AirScale U+ to download the App. Once it has been successfully downloaded, follow the below instructions: Open the App, it will require you to enter a code.
The code is: 201917 Fig. 10 App registration Enter your e-mail address and a password, then, click “Register”. You will receive a confirmation e-mail containing a link. Create a user profile for the first time When an account is created for the first time, the App will require you to create a user profile before accessing the main menu.

To create the profile, enter the following information:

• User gender
• Username
• Date of birth
• Height
• Aim weight
• Add new user

Click on the icon located on the top right-hand corner, and then on “+add new user” to create a new user. Fill in all the fields stated on the previous section.

Health graphics review
Click on the icon located on the top left-hand corner and select “health graphic” in order to track your progress.

Connecting the scale
Activate your iOS/Android device’s Bluetooth and step on the scale to record your first weighing.

Language settings
To change the App language, go to settings and select the multi-language option Select the desired language and tap on “Done”.

Weighing
Turn on your Smartphone Bluetooth to connect the scale. Open AirScale U+ App on your Smartphone and select the user you want to use. When the screen displays “0.0”, gently and quickly stamp 3 times on the EcoPower push button to charge the scale’s battery. Stand steadily on the scale. Make sure your feet make full contact with the metal plate. The scale will display the user’s weight. Once the weight stays steady on the screen, the scale will show a moving “0” as it starts the body analysis. Stand still while the body analysis is in progress. This product is under warranty for 2 years from the date of purchase, as long as the proof of purchase is submitted, the product is in perfect physical condition, and it has been given proper use, as explained in this instruction manual.
