BEFORE USE
Take the product out of the box. Remove all packaging material. Save the original box. Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If any visible signs of damage are observed, contact the Technical Support Service immediately.
OPERATION
Plug the device into a power supply and press the power button once to turn it
on. The temperature indicator will blink white. Press the button to change the
temperature. After the preheating time, the temperature indicator will remain
on. After 5 seconds, the device will be locked. To deactivate the lock
function, press the button twice. Unlock the device and hold pressed the
button for 2 seconds to turn the device off. Recommendation: Always select the
lowest temperature setting (140 ºC) when using the hair straightener for the
first time. The device features ionising function. While in operation, the ion
generator will produce ionic energy to achieve a silky, smooth and shiny hair.
After 1 hour of inactivity, the device will automatically turn off thanks to
its auto shut-off function. How to straighten hair Hold the appliance by the
handle, always at a safe distance from skin and eyes. Use a mirror. Separate
your hair into approx. 4-cm strands. Hold the appliance in the hand. Begin at
the roots and lay the prepared strands one at a time between the straightening
brush teeth. Move the hair straightener slowly from the roots to the tips of
your hair. Repeat until your hair is as straight as you desire. After
finishing styling, let your hair cool down. Hold pressed the power button for
2 seconds to switch the device off.
Note: Use the appliance on hair that is 70 %-80 % dry for best results.
Use the device with hot air flow pointing downwards to avoid water from
entering it.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Turn off and disconnect the device from the mains supply before cleaning it.
- Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid or place it under running water.
- Place the device on a heatproof surface until it cools down before cleaning or storing it.
- Only use a moisturised and clean cloth to clean the product.
- Do not wrap the cord around the barrel.
- Store the appliance in a safe and dry place and keep it out of the reach of children. You may hang the appliance by the hanging hook.

TECHNICAL SUPPORT AND WARRANTY
This product is under warranty for 2 years from the date of purchase, as long as the proof of purchase is submitted, the product is in perfect physical condition, and it has been given proper use, as explained in this instruction manual. The warranty will not cover the following situations: The product has been used for purposes other than those intended for it, misused, beaten, exposed to moisture, immersed in liquid or corrosive substances, as well as any other fault attributable to the customer. The product has been disassembled, modified, or repaired by persons, not authorised by the official Technical Support Service of Cecotec. Faults deriving from the normal wear and tear of its parts, due to use. The warranty service covers every manufacturing defects of your appliance for 2 years, based on current legislation, except consumable parts. In the event of misuse, the warranty will not apply.
