Assembly, location, and connection

Remove all packaging material and keep it out of reach of children. After removing the packaging, check the appliance for damage or other signs that could indicate a fault/defect/malfunction. In case of doubt, do not use the appliance, but contact your vendor for inspection or replacement.
The device consists of two parts that you must fit together before use: the actual device and the base.

  • Lead the electrical cable with a plug through the middle hole in the base; from top to bottom (the hollow side of the base is the underside).
  • Now slide the base over the small white box with the electrical cable on the underside of the device: all hollow spaces and protrusions and screw holes on top of each other. It only fits in one way.
  • Now firmly fasten the base and the device together using the two safety screws included in the package.
  • Select a suitable location for the device taking into account all the warnings mentioned earlier in this manual.
  • Lead the electrical cable through the cable clamps and recess to outside the base and place the device upright

Caution! A push-button is located beneath the heater: this is the safety tipover cut-out switch. Knocking over the heater will cause this buttontoprotrude and the heater will turn off automatically. This means the heater will not work when hanging.

Use and operation

  • Check that all buttons are turned off, ie not pressed.
  • Unwind the electrical cable completely and insert the plug into a suitable 220240V earthed socket.
  • Select the desired heating level by pressing the On / Off switches (1, 2, 3)
  • The heater has 3 heating elements of 400 W each, which can be switched on separately.
  • Now when you press the oscillation switch (4), the device will pivot approximately 90 ° horizontally. Pressing this switch again switches the function off.
  • To switch off the appliance, all switches press O individually. Then remove the
  • plug from the socket. Never leave the heater connected to the power supply when it is not in use!
  • Note: When you use the heater for the first time, it may smoke slightly and give off an odor. This is normal and harmless and should disappear after a few minutes. If this does not happen and the heater continues to smoke, switch off all the heating elements and remove the plug from the socket and contact your supplier.
  • The heater, and particularly the radiation grid, become extremely hot during use and will also remain warm for some time after the heater has been switched off. Take this into account!
  • If you wish to relocate the heater, first switch it off, remove the plug from the socket and allow it to cool down before moving it. To relocate the heater, use the handle.

Safety features

The heater is fitted with a tipping safeguard which automatically shuts off the appliance if it inadvertently falls over. However, this does not rule out all risks: even after the heater has been switched off, it and particularly the radiation grid, will remain very hot for some time and if it is left lying, for example, on a wooden floor or carpet, it can cause fire/melting/scorching damage and result in a fire.
Therefore remain cautious at all times! When the heater is returned to its upright position, it will resume functioning as normal but, before reusing, switch off, unplug and check for damage. Do not use
the heater if it is damaged or malfunctioning, but have it inspected/repaired!

Cleaning and maintenance

Keep the heater clean. Dust, dirt, and/or deposits in the heater are a common cause of damage or faults! So these should be removed regularly. Switch off the heater, remove the plug from the socket and allow the heater to cool down before cleaning or carrying out maintenance work.

  •  Wipe the outside of the heater regularly with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not use aggressive soaps, sprays, cleaners or abrasives, waxes, polishes, or chemical solutions!
  • Using a vacuum cleaner, carefully remove any dust and dirt from the grills. Be careful not to touch or damage any internal parts during cleaning!
  • The heater contains no other parts which need maintenance.
  • At the end of the season, store the cleaned heater in the original packaging if necessary. Store it upright in a cool, dry, and dust-free place.
