IMPORTANT NOTES
To achieve the utmost in enjoyment and performance, and in order to become familiar with its features, please read this manual carefully before attempting to operate this product. This will assure you years of trouble-free performance and listening pleasure.
- This safety and operating instruction should be retained for future reference.
- The apparatus should not be exposed to dripping or splashing or placed in a humid atmosphere such as a bathroom.
- Do not install the product in the following areas:
- Places exposed to direct sunlight or close to radiators.
- On top of other stereo equipment that radiate too much heat.
- Blocking ventilation or in a dusty area.
- Areas where there is constant vibration.
- Humid or moist places.
- Do not place near candles or other naked flames.
- Operate the product only as instructed in this manual.
- Before turning on the power for the first time, make sure the power adaptor is properly connected.
- Plug in the USB stick directly or use a USS extension cable that is not longer than 25 cm. For safety reasons, do not remove any covers or attempt to gain access to the inside ofthe product. Refer any servicing to qualified personnel. Do not attempt to remove any screws, or open the casing of the unit; there are no user-serviceable parts inside. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- Read Instructions -All the safety and operating instructions must be read before the product is operated.
- Retain Instructions -The safety and operating instructions should be kept with the product for future reference.
- Heed warnings -All warnings on the product and in the operating instructions should be adhered to.
- Follow instructions-All operating and user instructions should be followed.
- Water and moisture -To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose the product to train, dripping, splashing or excessive moisture such as in a sauna or bathroom. Do not use this product near water, for example, near a bathtub, washbowl, kitchen sink, laundry tub, in a wet basement or near a swimming pool (or similar).
- Object and Liquid Entry- Never push objects of any kind into this product through openings, as they may touch dangerous voltage points or short-circuit parts that could result in a fire or electric hock. Never spill liquid of any kind on the product. Do not place any object containing liquid on top of the product.
- Servicing – Do not attempt to service this product yourself, as opening or removing covers may expose you to dangerous voltage or other hazards. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.
- Replacement parts -When replacement parts are required, ensure that the service technician has used replacement parts specified by the manufacturer or have the same characteristics as the original part. Unauthorized substitutions may result in fire, electric shock or other hazards.
- Place your clock radio on a stable surface, away from sources of direct sunlight or excessive heat or moisture. Protect your furniture when placing your units on natural wood and lacquered finish by using a cloth or protective material between it and the furniture.
- Clean your unit with a soft cloth moistened only with mild soap and water. Stronger agents such as Benzine, thinner or similar materials can damage the surface of the unit. Make sure the unit is unplugged before cleaning.
- Battery
- The batteries must not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire, or the like.
- The batteries should be drawn to the environmental aspects of battery disposal.
WARNING
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children
should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- The apparatus must not be exposed to dripping or splashing and objects filled with liquids, such as vases, must not be placed on the apparatus.
- To prevent fire or shock hazards, do not expose this equipment to hot places, rain, moisture or dust.
- Do not locate this unit near any water sources e.g. taps, bathtubs, washing machines or swimming pools. Ensure that you place the unit on a dry, stable surface.
- Do not place this unit close to a strong magnetic field.
- Do not place the unit on an amplifier or receiver.
- Do not place this unit in a damp area as the moisture will affect the life of electric components.
- If the clock is brought directly from a cold to a warm location or is placed in a very damp room, moisture may condense on the lens inside the player. If this occurs, the system will not operate properly. Please leave the system turned on for about an hour until the moisture evaporates.
- Do not attempt to clean the unit with chemical solvents as this might damage the finish. Wipe with a clean, dry or slightly damp cloth.
When this crossed-out wheeled bin symbol is attached to a product it means that the product is covered by the European Directive 2002/96/EC. Please inform yourself about the local separate collection system for electrical and electronic products. Please cat according to your local rules and do not dispose of your old products with your normal household waste. Correct disposal of your old product helps to prevent potential negative consequences for the environment and human health. Your product contains batteries covered by the European Directive2006/66/EC, which cannot be disposed of with normal household waste. Please inform yourself about the local rules on separate collection of batteries because correct disposal helps to prevent negative consequences for the environmental and human health.
Environmental information
All unnecessary packaging has been omitted. We have tried to make the
packaging easy to separate into three materials: cardboard(box), polystyrene
foam(buffer) and polyethylene (bags, protective foam sheet). Your system
consists of material that can be recycled and reused if disassembled by a
specialized company. Please observe the local regulations regarding the
disposal of packaging materials, exhausted batteries, and old equipment.
Recording and playback of material might require consent. See Copyright Act
1956 and The Performer’s Protection Acts 1958 to 1972.

- Press and hold it to adjust the output volume level.
- In Bluetooth and microSD card playback mode, short press it to skip the playback track.
- In FM radio mode, short press it to pick up the preset station.
Power on/off, source and play/pause control.
- Press and hold it in 2 seconds to power on or off the unit.
- Short press this button twice repeatedly to switch the play mode between Bluetooth/FM/microSD and AUX-IN mode.
- In Bluetooth and microSD card playback mode, short press it to play pause or resume music playback.
- In FM radio mode, short press it to scan and save the available station automatically.

Battery charging
This unit had built-in rechargeable lithium battery inside. Before start the
playing, please follow up below step for charging.
- Open the rubber cap on the rear panel, using the supplied USB to micro USB type charging cable connects the speaker with your USB charger (USB adaptor or USB output port like on PC, USB rating output: SV/1 A, another USB charger with current equal or above 1 A). The micro USB connector should connect with the DC SV power jack on the rear panel of speaker, and the other terminal connects with USB charger. Then plug your USB charger on household AC power.
- The charging LED will light on in red color during charging, and the red color LED will off when the battery is fully charged.
- The red color charging LED will be blinking when the battery power is too low, please arrange recharge for playing.
Important: We recommend connecting the USB charger with rating output
spec at DC SV /1 A, or equal or above 1 A output current USB power. The
general USB output on PC (personal computer) is 5V/1A (please reference your
PC spec for checking). There may have some charging noise or abnormal function
from speaker if the charging current is too low. If it happened, please remove
the charging power and put the speaker in a while, then the speaker will reset
the function in normal. Please kindly note this is not a malfunction.
Notes: Your battery life will last longer if you follow up below the simple
guidelines for charging and storing.
- For charging first time, charge it at least 10 hours.
- Recharge and store the unit within the temperature range of S°C-35°C (40°F-95°F).
- Do not charge longer than 24 hours. Excessive charging or discharging may shorten the battery’s life.
- Battery life naturally shortens slowly over time.
- Please turn off the speaker if long time not to use.
- The speaker can play music during charging.
- Due to prolong charging and discharging, the unit battery life will be affected and playback time will also be shortened. We cannot guarantee the same playback consistently throughout and this is not included in our warranty and service.
The speaker includes a Bluetooth function which allows you to wireless playback the audio with another Bluetooth device like a smartphone etc. Please follow up below for the operation.
- Press and hold the M button 2 seconds to power on the unit, short press the M twice to switch the play source and enter to the Bluetooth mode. The blue color LED will flare which means the speaker is ready to pair with another device.
- Enable the Bluetooth function on your Bluetooth device, and search the available Bluetooth device( please reference your device manual for the operation).
- Check the available Bluetooth device on the menu list of your device, and select” BP BT12″in order to start pairing. Please key-in”0000″(4zero) in case of a POP password is required during pairing. The blue LED will become stable when the pairing is successful.
- Select and play the music on your Bluetooth device. Then the sound will output from the speaker.
- During Bluetooth playback, you can short press the M button to play or pause the music; short press the i.i or-. button to select last or next track; press and hold i.i or-. button to decrease or increase the volume. Phone call hands-free: when the cell phone was paired with the speaker in Bluetooth mode, and an incoming call is arriving; short press the M button can pick up the call; answer the phone call and talk aim to the microphone hole within 30cm(suggested distance) in order get better conversation sound quality; short press the M button again can end the phone call and resume the music playback.
Notes:
- All Bluetooth devices are not guaranteed to pair successfully due to different design and brands.
- Please do not put your cell phone very close to the speaker during phone call hands free conversation, in order to avoid interference which will impact the conversation’s sound quality.
- The Bluetooth’s best working distance is within 10 meters without any obstacle in between.
- The speaker can broadcast the incoming phone call number smartly in Bluetooth mode.
FM radio operation
Before listening to the radio, please try to move the unit next to the window as you can, and insert the supplied 3.5mm to 3.5mm stereo audio cable into the AUX IN jack as an external antenna in order to get better reception.
- Power on the unit and short press the M button twice to enter FM radio mode.
- Short press the M button to auto scan and save the available FM station( max supported 50 preset station); short press the i.i or-. to select the last or next preset station; press and hold the i.i or -.button to decrease or increase the volume.
TF/MicroSD card playback
Please copy the MP3 format music into the or MicroSD card device (max
supported 64GB) before starting the playing, and then insert the card into the
slot on the rear panel of unit. Power on the unit, and short press the M
button twice to enter the MicroSD playback mode; the speaker will read out the
card device automatically, and get the music output after few seconds i.i -.
In TF/MicroSD card playback mode, short press the i.i or-. to select the last
or next preset station; press and hold the i.i or-. button to decrease or
increase the volume. Short press the M button to play or pause the music.
Notes:
- TheTF/MicroSD card playback mode is only available when there have card device installed on the speaker successfully.
- The supported audio format is MP3/WMA in TF/MicroSD playback mode, but not guarantee all mentioned format audio files.
- Not all TF/MicroSD card devices are supported due to different design and brands, the max supported storage is 64GB.
- Please kindly insert the TF or MicroSD card into the slot properly.
AUX IN/ MP3 link mode
Using the supplied 3.5mm to 3.5mm stereo audio cable connect the AUX jack on
the speaker rear panel with the line out or headphone jack on any other
external audio player like mp3 player etc. Power on the speaker and short
press the ~ button twice to enter the AUX IN playback mode; select and play
the music from your external audio player, then the sound will output from the
speaker.
Notes:
- In AUX IN mode, the main control is on your external audio player side. But you still can increase or decrease the volume on the speaker side.
- Please kindly note the AUX-in mode is only available when the audio cable was plugged in.

Troubleshooting
- The unit cannot power on.
- Please charge the unit and try again.
- Please contact the service center in case of the issue remains.
- There is no or intermittent sound output in Bluetooth mode.
- Please turn off the Bluetooth, and repair it with the speaker.
- Please put your Bluetooth device closer with the speaker.
- No available FM station or background noise in FM.
- Please plug on the 3.5mm stereo audio cable and re-scan the available FM station.
- Please tune to another FM station for listening.
- Please try to move the unit next to the window in order to get better reception.
- The speaker cannot read out the music in TF or a microSD card.
- Please check if you insert theTF or microSD card into the slot properly.
- Please check if the audio format is in MP3/WMA.
