INSTALLATION

  • The pump is intended for placement in the basement or other places exposed to flooding, or immersing in a water body. Make sure that the float can move freely, is not blocked by other objects or does not get stuck in the mud.
  • The device should work in a vertical position.
  • Make sure that the water can be drained to the desired location (check local regulations) before using the pump.
  • The pump is equipped with a universal connector which allows for the connection of hoses with different diameters. In case of connecting the 13 mm (1/2’’), 15 mm (5/8’’) or 19 mm (3/4’’) hose – cut off the narrowest part of the connector, screw a connector with the diameter of 24.5 mm onto the thread, then attach the hose quick-connector to the connector. In the case of 25 mm (1’’) hose – the hose must be screwed in and pressed onto the universal connector. Secure the hose with a clamp. In the case of 32 mm (1 ¼’’) hose, cut off the narrowest part of the connector together with the adjacent threaded segment. Screw and push the hose onto the remaining connector, then secure it with a clamp.
  • The above-mentioned components, such as the connector, quick-connector, clamp and hose – are not supplied with the device.
  • Always make sure that the pump, power cord and plug are not damaged before use. Make sure that the turn-on point and the turn-off point are correctly set. It is worth checking the operation of the pump in the barrel – whether the pump starts and stops when the float position is changed.

PUMP OPERATION

  • The attachment of the float cable in the handle determines the turn-on/turn-off height. The upper position determines when the pump will start operating. The lower position determines the pump turn-off moment.
  • Place the pump on a hard surface or use a rope attached to the pump handle to hang it in the reservoir. Connect the pump to the power supply.
  • Pump starting and stopping depend on water level and float position.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • Make sure that the pump is disconnected from the power supply before proceeding with maintenance. If the pump is carried – wash the pump after each use.
  • When using the pump in one place, it is recommended to clean it once every 3 months.
  • The accumulated sludge can be washed with a pressure washer. Wipe the components with a cloth. Do not use aggressive detergents, solvents or sharp objects.
  • Do not use the pump when the temperature is below 0°. Store the pump in a place where the temperature is higher than 0°.
  • It is recommended to use the pump at least once every 3 months.
