TESY EV 80 46 Buffers For Central Heating

INTENDED USE

The appliance is designed to accumulate excess heat currently produced by the boiler and release it for use at peak demand. It is designed for use in closed and heated rooms(above 4 “C) in closed heating systems with maximum pressure up to 0,6 MPa (6 bar). The heat carrier must be circulating water or a mixture thereof with propylene glycol and anticorrosion additives! IMPORTANT! See section Warranty condition!

DESCRIPTION AND TECHNICAL DATA

Depending on the model of the high-capacity water heater (HCWH), it can have one or two built-in heat exchangers. The connections to the high capacity buffers should be made following the marked outlets and inlets, described below: TS1, TS2, TS3, TSS1, TSS2 – for mounting temperature sensors (each heat exchanger can be controlled by temperature).

MOUNTINGAND CONNECTION

AttentionlQualified technicians must perform all technical and electrical assembly works. ATTENTION! In order to prevent injury to the user and/or third persons in the event of faults in the system for providing hot water, the appliance must be mounted in premises outfitted with floor hydro insulation (or) plumbing drainage.
CONNECTING BUFFERS TO THE CENTRAL HEATING LOOP.
EXAMPLES. Buffers for central heating systems are intended for heat accumulation and stratification with subsequent distribution of heat flows with different temperatures to the specific consumers. As an example, on Fig. 7 is shown high and low-temperature heating realized by the buffer. Heat demand is covered by gas boiler and solar collectors.

OPERATING MODE

Before using the buffer make sure that the appliance is connected with the heating installation in the correct way and is filled with water. V. IMPORTANT RULES (WARRANTY CONDITIONS)IMPORTANT! Nonobservance of the below-described rules leads to warranty fault and the producer bear no more responsibilities for your appliance!

  •  The use of the appliance for any purpose other than that it is intended(p.1) is prohibited.
  •  Do not start using the buffer if it is not filled with water.
  •  The installation and maintenance must be carried out by a professional from the sector in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. (p.lllA-B-CD).
  •  The buffer must only be installed in premises with normal fire resistance.
  • There should be a siphon connected to plumbing drainage. The premises should be protected from freezing and the temperature should never be lower than 4 °c
  •  Qualified P&P specialists and Electricians must only perform the connecting of the buffer to the local or central water heating, solar panel and electric mains.
  •  This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
  •  Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
  •  If the probability exists for the premise’s temperature to fall below 0°C, the water heater must be drained via raising the safety return valve’s lever.
  •  The safety valve must be left open to the atmosphere.
  •  When connecting copper pipes to the inlets and outlets, use an intermediate dielectric connection. Otherwise, there is a risk of contact corrosion that can occur on the connection fittings!
  •  For the connection of copper pipes to the inputs and outputs, use an intermediate dielectric connection. Otherwise, there is a risk of occurrence of contact corrosion connecting fittings!
  •  In order to secure the water heater’s safe operation, the safety valve must undergo regular cleaning and inspections for normal functioning /the valve must not be obstructed/

PERIODIC MAINTENANCE

The manufacturer recommends preventive maintenance of your water heater every two years by an authorized service center or service base. Each preventive maintenance of the said type must be entered in theappliance’s warranty card and must outline the date of performing the preventive maintenance, the company performing the preventive maintenance, the name of the person performing the preventive maintenance, and the signature.
