Thank you for purchasing the Nedis BTWV10GN.
This document is the user manual and contains all the information for correct, efficient and safe use of the product.
This user manual is addressed to the end user. Read this information carefully before installing or using the product.
Always store this information with the product for use in the future.
Product description
Intended use
The Nedis BTWV10GN is a Bluetooth water control system that allows you to schedule irrigation.
The product can be controlled with the Nedis SmartLife app.
This product is intended for outdoor use only.
The product is not intended for professional use.
This product can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the product in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the product. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done by children without supervision.
Any modification of the product may have consequences for safety, warranty and proper functioning.

Safety instructions
WARNING
- Ensure you have fully read and understood the instructions in this document before you install or use the product. Keep the packaging and this document for future reference.
- Only use the product as described in this document.
- Do not use the product if a part is damaged or defective. Replace a damaged or defective product immediately.
- Close supervision is necessary when the product is used by or near children, animals or infirm persons. Do not allow children to play with it or touch it.
- Keep the product out of reach from children.
- Only use batteries that correspond with the specifications.
- In the event of a leaking battery, do not allow the liquid to come in contact with the skin or eyes. If contact has been made, wash the affected area with copious amounts of water and seek medical advice.
- Remove the battery before the product is scrapped.
- Properly dispose of the empty battery.
- This product may only be serviced by a qualified technician for maintenance to reduce the risk of electric shock.
Installation
Check the contents of the package
Check that all parts are present and that no damage is visible on the parts. If parts are missing or damaged, contact the Nedis B.V. service desk via the website: www.nedis.com.
Installing the Nedis SmartLife app
1. Download the Nedis Smartlife app for Android or iOS on your phone via Google Play or the Apple App Store.
2. Open the Nedis Smartlife app on your phone.
3. Create an account with your e-mail address and tap Continue.
You will receive a verification code on your e-mail address.
4. Enter the received verification code.
5. Create a password and tap Done.
6. Tap Add Home to create a SmartLife Home.
7. Set your location, choose the rooms you want to connect with and tap Done.

Note: Use only size AA batteries (not included) for this product.
Note: Do not use rechargeable batteries.
1. Pull the tabs of the battery compartment A4, to take A4 out of the product.
2. Place 4 batteries into A4.
Note: Make sure to match the (+) and (-) polarity markings.
3. Place A4 into the slot for the battery compartment A3.
Note: Make sure A4 is completely closed to ensure no water can run into A4.
The status indicator LED A1 starts blinking.

1. Connect the water inlet A6 to an outside tap (not included) and the water outlet A7 to a garden hose or sprinkler (not included).
Note: Make sure to fasten the tap and the hose tightly to avoid water leakage.
Connecting the app
1. Enable Bluetooth on your phone.
2. Open the Nedis Smartlife app on your phone.
Note: Make sure your phone is within 60 meters (open area) from the product.
The product automatically connects with the app.
The app notificates that there is a new product available to connect to the app.
3. Follow the instructions in the app.
The product appears in the list of connected products.
4. Press the control button A2 to activate the product.
5. Open the water tap to the desired position.
Disconnect the product when freezing temperatures are expected, to avoid potential freeze damage.

Make sure your phone is within 60 meters (open area) from the product.
Manual mode (image E)
In manual mode you can set the default duration, or switch the water timer on or off manually. The duration set is also valid when using he physical control button A2.
1. Tap ‘Manual’ B2 to go to the manual mode. (See image E).
Plan settings (image F)
1. Tap ‘Plan’ B5 to go to the plan settings (see image F), to schedule daily irrigation, or a rain delay plan.
2. Set a maximum of 3 plans a day.
You can select a delay of 24, 48 or 72 hours at the rain delay function.
There are two available modes in the plan settings: Irrigation mode and Mist mode.
Mist mode will use adjustable intervals to prevent flooding.
After setting the plans, the water timer will start watering following the schedules.

Maintenance
Clean the product regularly with a soft, clean, dry cloth. Avoid abrasives that can damage the surface.
Do not use aggressive chemical cleaning agents such as ammonia, acid or acetone when cleaning the product.
Do not clean the inside of the product.
Clean the filter A5 regularly, and replace if it is worn out.
Warranty
Any changes and/or modifications to the product will void the warranty. We accept no liability for damage caused by improper use of the product.
This product is designed for private use (normal domestic use) only. Nedis is not responsible for wear, defect and/or damages caused by commercial use of the product.
