This document is the user manual and contains all the information for correct, efficient and safe use of the product.

This user manual is addressed to the end user. Read this information carefully before installing or using the product.

Intended use

This product is exclusively intended as a fan.

This product is intended for indoor and outdoor use.

The product is not intended for professional use.

This product can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the product in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the product. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done by children without supervision.

This product is intended for normal household use only. This product is not intended for: shops, light industry or on farms.

Any modification of the product may have consequences for safety, warranty and proper functioning.

  • Do not dismantle, open or shred batteries.
  • Do not expose cells or batteries to heat or fire. Avoid storage in direct sunlight.
  • Do not short-circuit a battery.
  • Do not store cells or batteries haphazardly in a box or drawer where they may short-circuit each other or be short-circuited by other metal objects.
  • Do not subject cells or batteries to mechanical shock.
  • Do not mix cells of different manufacture, capacity, size or type within a product.
  • Only use the battery type(s) recommended in this document.
  • Keep cells and batteries clean and dry.
  • When possible, remove the battery from the product when not in use.
  • Do not remove a cell or battery from its original packaging until required for use.
  • Do not use any battery which is not designed for use with the equipment.
  • Use only the battery in the application for which it was intended as described in this manual.
  • Wipe the battery terminals with a clean dry cloth if they are dirty.
  • Battery usage by children should be supervised.
  • Observe the plus (+) and minus (–) marks on the cell, battery and equipment and ensure correct use.
  • Properly dispose empty cells or batteries.
  • Seek medical advice immediately if a cell or a battery has been swallowed.

Installation

  • Check the contents of the package
  • Check that all parts are present and that no damage is visible on the parts. If parts are missing or damaged, contact the Nedis B.V. service desk via the website: www.nedis.com.

1. Remove the screw A4 from the battery cover A5 using a screwdriver.

2. Remove A5 from the product.

3. Insert the batteries into the battery compartment.

  • Observe the plus (+) and minus (–) marks on the battery and the product to ensure correct placement

4. Place A5 back on the product.

5. Place A4 back into A5.

6. Fasten A4 using a screwdriver.

Use

Using the product:

1. Press the power button A1.

2. The product switches on.

3. The low-speed indicator LED A2 lights up to indicate that the product is in low speed mode.

4. Press A1 again to switch to high speed mode.

5. The high-speed LED A3 lights up. The product is now in high mode.

6. Press A1 again to switch off the product.

Maintenance

  •  Clean the product regularly with a soft, clean, dry cloth. Avoid abrasives that can damage the surface.
  • Wipe the cell or battery terminals with a clean dry cloth if they become dirty.

Warranty

 Any changes and/or modifications to the product will void the warranty. We accept no liability for damage caused by improper use of the product.

This product is designed for private use (normal domestic use) only. Nedis is not responsible for wear, defect and/or damages caused by commercial use of the product.
