This document is the user manual and contains all the information for correct, efficient and safe use of the product.
This user manual is addressed to the end user. Read this information carefully before installing or using the product.

Product description
Intended use
The Nedis ACAM07BK is a small and lightweight action camera that enables you to make HD images and video.
This product is intended as a recording device.
The product is not intended for professional use.
Consult the local laws and regulations for this product before installing and using.
This product can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the product in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the product. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done by children without supervision.
Before using the charger, check the instruction manual supplied with the battery for the correct operation instructions.
Any modification of the product may have consequences for safety, warranty and proper functioning.

Safety instructions
WARNING
- Ensure you have fully read and understood the instructions in this document before you install or use the product. Keep this document for future reference.
- Only use the product as described in this document.
- Do not use the product if a part is damaged or defective. Replace a damaged or defective product immediately.
- Unplug the product from the power source and other equipment if problems occur.
- Switch off and unplug the product when not in use or before maintenance.
- This product may only be serviced by a qualified technician for maintenance to reduce the risk of electric shock.
- Do not drop the product and avoid bumping.
- Do not expose the product to water or moisture without using the waterproof housing.
- Keep distance from flammable objects.
- Only use the provided USB charging cable.
- Charge the battery for at least 3 hours when you use it for the first time.
- Do not use any charger other than that specifically provided for use with the equipment.
- The charger must only be plugged into an earthed socket-outlet.
- During charging, the battery must be placed in a well-ventilated area.
- Do not leave a battery on prolonged charge when not in use.
- Disconnect the power supply before making or breaking the connections to the battery.
- Stop the charging process if the product gets too warm.
- Only power the product with the voltage corresponding to the markings on the product.
- Wipe the battery terminals with a clean dry cloth if they are dirty.
- Do not short-circuit a cell or a battery.
- Children of less than 8 years should be kept away.
- Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done by children without supervision.

Electronic equipment needs to bear the CE mark in order to be marketed in the EU. CE marking shows that a product is assessed before being placed on the market and that it meets EU safety, health and environmental protection requirements. CE marking is also sometimes accepted as a means of compliance with type-approval requirements; for example, electronic components that require type-approval and also CE marking for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) or low-voltage equipment.

Installation
- Check the contents of the package
- Check that all parts are present and that no damage is visible on the parts. If parts are missing or damaged, contact the Nedis B.V. service desk via the website: www.nedis.com.
Inserting a microSD card (image B )

A microSD card (not included) is required to take pictures or videos.
Use a microSD card with a maximum of 32 GB storage capacity.
Format the microSD card before use.
1. Insert the microSD card into the microSD card slot A10.
Insert the battery (image C )

1. Remove the battery cover A 8.
2. Insert the battery A 16 in the battery compartment.
- Remove the battery by pulling the battery label A 17.
3. Close the battery compartment with A 8.
- Make sure to match the (+) and (-) polarity markings.
Charging the product (image D )

- Only use the provided USB charging cable.
- The product is delivered with a partially charged battery. For optimal battery life, fully charge the battery before first use.
- The battery recharging time is variable depending on the condition and capacity of the battery.
- The product can be charged while recording video.
1. Plug the micro USB cable A 15 into the micro USB port of the product A 13.
2. Plug the other end of A 15 into a USB power source or adapter.
- Charging starts automatically.
- The charging indicator LED A 5 lights up.
- When the battery level is low, a low battery notification is shown on the screen and the product turns off.
Disconnect the charger
- If A 5 does not switch off after a reasonable time in which the battery should be fully charged, the battery may have a leakage current. In this case, replace the battery with a new one.
- When the connected battery is fully charged, the current will be reduced to prevent overcharging and gas development. This allows the battery to stay connected to the charger for a longer period without damaging the battery.
- It is still recommended to disconnect the charger when the battery is fully charged.
- Due the automatic voltage and current control the connected battery will always stay fully charged.
Attachment
- Place the product in the waterproof housing. The waterproof housing can be fitted with the supplied mounting accessory to your clothing, action gear, helmet, etc.
- Make sure the attachment is secure.
- Make sure the product does not impede your movement, view, or operation of your action gear.
- Only operate the product while you are safe and still.
Use
Switching on the product
1. Press and hold the power button A 1 for 3 – 5 seconds to switch on the product.
- The status indicator LED A 4 lights up blue.
- A welcome screen appears, and the product enters video mode.

- Switch between modes by pressing the power button A 1.
- Record photo and video images
- In video recording mode, press the OK button A 7 to start or stop recording video.
- In photo shooting mode, press A 7 to take a photo.
View photo and video images
In playback mode, press the up button A 12 or down button A 1 to go to the next or previous photo or video.
- Press A 7 to play and stop videos.
Settings menu navigation
1. In the settings menu, use A 12 and A 13 to navigate between options.
2. Press A 7 to select and confirm options.

|
Select the video resolution.
Exposure
|
Compensate exposure when videos or photos are too light or too dark.
Motion detection
|
When the product detects movement, video is recorded. The recording ends when no movement is detected for 10 seconds.
Loop record
|
Select the time length of video sections. This determines the skipping time in playback mode.
Video lapse
|
Take a series of photos at the selected interval in video mode. These can be played back as a time lapse video.
WDR
|
The Wide Dynamic Range feature for photos improves the exposure. This is helpful to make dark areas look lighter.
Record audio
|
Enable or disable the recording of sounds in video images.
Date stamp
|
Enable or disable the option to imprint the date and time on photos and video images.
Image size
|
Select the photo image size.
Quality
|
Select the quality of photos and videos.
Capture mode
|
Take a single photo or automatically shoot multiple photos at timed intervals in photo shooting mode.
Sharpness
|
Select sharpening of photos and video images.
ISO
|
Select light sensitivity.
Anti-shaking
|
Enable or disable image stabilization. This only affects photos, not videos.
White balance
|
Select white balance.
Frequency
|
Select the frequency of your AC power outlet.
OSD mode
|
Enable or disable on-screen icons and data.
Screensaver
|
Select the time period after which the display turns off to save power.
Rotate
|
Enable 180° rotation if you mount the product upside down.
Auto power off
|
Select the time period after which the product turns off automatically. Does not affect use while recording video, photo sequences, or while in motion detection mode.
Language
|
Select the operating language of the product.
Beep sound
|
Enable or disable beeps when pressing buttons.
Date / time
|
Set the current date and time.
Car mode
|
Enable car mode to turn on the product automatically when it detects power.
Delete
|
Delete current or all photos and videos except for protected files. To delete a single photo or video, first select the photo or video by navigating to it in playback mode.
Protect
|
Protect current or all photos and videos. To protect a single photo or video, first select the photo or video by navigating to it in playback mode.
Format
|
Format the memory card to delete all photos and video images, including protected files. Format a new card when you first insert it into the product.

Version
|
Shows the date of the firmware version.
- Transfer files to an external device
1. Connect the product to a device with A y.
2. Transfer files you want to save to your device.
Alternatively, take the microSD card from the product and insert it into a card reader that is connected to your device.
Maintenance
- Switch off and unplug the product when not in use or before maintenance.
- Clean the product regularly with a soft, clean, dry cloth. Avoid abrasives that can damage the surface.
- Do not use aggressive chemical cleaning agents such as ammonia, acid or acetone when cleaning the product.
- Do not attempt to repair the product. If the product does not operate correctly, replace it with a new product.
- Do not clean the inside of the product.
Warranty
Any changes and/or modifications to the product will void the warranty. We accept no liability for damage caused by improper use of the product.
This product is designed for private use (normal domestic use) only. Nedis is not responsible for wear, defect and/or damages caused by commercial use of the product.
