Product description
Intended use
The Nedis COOL116CWT is an air cooler with a 5 L water tank capacity.
The product is not intended for professional use.
This product can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the product in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the product. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done by children without supervision.
Any modification of the product may have consequences for safety, warranty and proper functioning.

- This product may only be serviced by a qualified technician for maintenance to reduce the risk of electric shock.
- Do not expose the product to water or moisture.
- Disconnect the product from the power source before service and when replacing parts.
- Disconnect the product from the power source before removing the fan guard.

Product in which protection against electric shock does not rely on basic insulation only, but in which additional safety precautions such as double insulation or reinforced insulation are provided, there being no provision for protective earthing or reliance upon installation conditions. NOTE A Class II products may be provided with means for maintaining the continuity of protective circuits, provided that such means are within the product and are insulated from accessible surfaces according to the requirements of Class II.
Installation
- Check the contents of the package
- Check that all parts are present and that no damage is visible on the parts. If parts are missing or damaged, contact the Nedis B.V. service desk via the website: www.nedis.com.
1. For optimal performance, place the product on a location that complies with the following:
- Flat and stable surface.
- 50 – 60 cm free space around the product.
2. Close open doors and windows.
- If you notice that the humidity level reaches 60% or above, ventilate the room for optimal performance.
3. Plug the power cable A10 into a power outlet.
- Filling the water tank
- Do not fill the water tank above the “max” indicator.
- Do not use the product if the water level is below the “min” indicator.
1.Check if the drainage A9 is closed.
2.Open the top lid A4.
3. Remove the stopper and fill with water.
- Fill until the water level is between “min” and “max” on the water level indicator A3.
4. Replace the stopper and close A4.
- Using ice packs
- The use of ice packs A24 is optional.
- Fill A24 with water until the water level is at the “max” indicator.
- Add A24 to A8 if tap water does not provide enough cooling.
- Make sure the water level is between “min” and “max”.
Use
Using the product
1. Press Ai to switch on the fan.
2. Press Au to set the fan speed.
- A23 indicates the current fan speed.
3. Press Au to switch off the fan.
- Using the cooling function
- Press A12 to activate or deactivate the cooling function.
- A19 lights up when the function is active.
For optimal performance, switch off the cooling function 15 minutes before switching off the fan.
Setting air flow direction
- Press A11 to automatically swing the air flow from left to right.
- A18 lights up when the function is active.
- Use A2 to set the vertical air flow direction.
Setting the fan mode
- Use A15 to select the desired fan mode.
- A22 indicates the current fan mode.
The different modes are:
Standard: the fan blows with the selected fan speed.
Breeze: the fan speed fluctuates to imitate a natural breeze.
Sleep: the fan speed decreases by one level every half an hour. It continues to run at low speed.
Using the timer
When the product is switched on:
- Press A14 to set the timer.
- Press again to increase the timer up to 7 hours.
- The product switches off after the set time has passed.
When the product is switched off:
- Press A14 to set the timer.
- Press again to increase the timer up to 7 hours.
- The product switches on after the set time has passed.
Add up the indicated hours on As to calculate the set time.
Using the ionizer
- Press A13 to switch on the ionizer.
- A20 lights up when the function is active.
Maintenance
- Clean the product regularly with a soft, clean, dry cloth. Avoid abrasives that can damage the surface.
- Do not use aggressive chemical cleaning agents such as ammonia, acid or acetone when cleaning the product.
- Do not clean the inside of the product.
Maintaining the filter
- Clean the honeycomb filter A7 every two months.
- Let A7 completely dry before storage to prevent molding.
- Replace A7 once a year or when the airflow is decreasing.
To buy new filters, see www.nedis.com, or contact the Nedis B.V. service desk.
To clean A7:
1. Remove A6 and A7.
2. Wash A7 with water and soap.
3. Rinse A7 with clean water.
4. Let A7 dry.
5. Place back A7 and A6.
Maintaining the water tank
- Refresh the water in A8 every week.
- Clean A8 when storing the product for a long period of time.
To clean A8:
1. Hold the product above a sink.
2. Open A9 to drain A8.
3. Remove A6 and A7.
4. Clean A8.
5. Close A9.
6. Place back A7 and A6.

Any changes and/or modifications to the product will void the warranty. We accept no liability for damage caused by improper use of the product.
