This document is the user manual and contains all the information for correct, efficient and safe use of the product.
This user manual is addressed to the end user. Read this information carefully before installing or using the product.

Safety instructions
WARNING
- Ensure you have fully read and understood the instructions in this document before you install or use the product. Keep the packaging and this document for future reference.
- Only use the product as described in this document.
- Do not force the switch to Cook position. Check if the pan is fully inserted before trying again.
- Do not leave utensils in the pan when _Keep Warm _function is switched on.
- Do not use the product if a part is damaged or defective. Replace a damaged or defective product immediately.
- Do not drop the product and avoid bumping.
- Do not immerse the product in water.
- Avoid spillage on the power connector.
- Do not unplug the product by pulling on the cable. Always grasp the plug and pull.
- This product may only be serviced by a qualified technician for maintenance to reduce the risk of electric shock.
- Do not expose the product to water or moisture.
- Disconnect the product from the power source before service and when replacing parts.
- If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by a special cable or assembly available from the manufacturer or its service agent.
- Do not touch the hot parts of the product directly.
- Do not let the power cable touch hot surfaces.
- Do not place the product near gas, an electric burner or a heated oven.
- Unplug the product when not in use and before cleaning.
- Do not use any accessories that are not included.
- Do not let the power cable hang over the edge of a table or counter.

- This product is intended to cook rice.
- This product is not intended to reheat previously cooked rice.
- This product is intended for indoor use only.
- This product is not intended for professional use.
- Do not let persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge of how to operate, use the product.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the product.
- This product is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or a separate remote control system.
- This product can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the product in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the product. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done by children without supervision.
- The product is intended for use in household environments for typical housekeeping functions that may also be used by non-expert users for typical housekeeping functions, such as: shops, offices other similar working environments, farm houses, by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments and/or in bed and breakfast type environments.
- Any modification of the product may have consequences for safety, warranty and proper functioning.

Installation
- Check the contents of the package
- Check that all parts are present and that no damage is visible on the parts. If parts are missing or damaged, contact the Nedis B.V. service desk via the website: www.nedis.com.
Installing the product
- Place the product on a stable, flat and heat resistant surface.
Use
Using the product
- Avoid spillage on the power connector.
1. Measure the desired amount of rice with the included measuring cup A12.
2. Wash the rice in a separate bowl.
3. Add the rice to the cooking pan A2.
4. Fill A2 with water up to the cup indicator corresponding to the amount of rice.
5. Place A2 in the rice cooker A4. Gently turn A2 right and left.
6. Close the lid A1 firmly.
7. Plug the power cable A7 into the power port A6.
8. Plug the other end of A7 into a power outlet.
9. Switch the power switch A5 to I.
10. Slide the function switch A10 down to start cooking.
- The cooking indicator A9 lights up to indicate that cooking has started.
- When the rice is done cooking, the rice cooker switches to keep warm mode and the keep warm indicator A8 lights up.
11. Leave A1 on for 6 -8 minutes to steam the rice.
12. Switch the power switch A5 to O.
13. Unplug A7.
Maintenance
- Clean the product regularly with a soft, clean, dry cloth. Avoid abrasives that can damage the surface.
- Do not use aggressive chemical cleaning agents such as ammonia, acid or acetone when cleaning the product.
- Do not immerse the product in water.
- Disconnect the product from the power source before service and when replacing parts.
1. Wash A1 and A2 in hot water with soap.
2. Rinse with clean water.
3. Dry with a soft cloth.
Cleaning the heating plate
1. To prevent uneven cooking, remove all foreign matter stuck to the heating plate A3.
2. Use steel wool to smooth out and polish the contact area of A3.

Any changes and/or modifications to the product will void the warranty. We accept no liability for damage caused by improper use of the product.
