Product description

Intended use

This product is intended to puree, chop or blend food.

This product can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the product in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the product. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done by children without supervision.

The product is intended for use in household environments for typical housekeeping functions that may also be used by non-expert users for typical housekeeping functions, such as: shops, offices other similar working environments, farm houses, by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments and/or in bed and breakfast type environments.

The product is intended for indoor use only.

The product is not intended for professional use.

Any modification of the product may have consequences for safety, warranty and proper functioning.

WARNING

  • Ensure you have fully read and understood the instructions in this document before you install or use the product. Keep this document for future reference.
  • Only use the product as described in this document.
  • Do not use the product if a part is damaged or defective. Replace a damaged or defective product immediately.
  • Do not drop the product and avoid bumping.
  • This product may only be serviced by a qualified technician for maintenance to reduce the risk of electric shock.
  • Do not immerse the motor unit in water or any other liquid. Only clean the motor unit with a damp cloth.
  • Do not leave the product unattended when switched on.
  • Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers and all body parts away from openings and moving parts.
  • Keep the product away from heat sources. Do not place the product on hot surfaces or near open flames.
  • This product is not a toy. Never allow children or pets to play with this product.
  • Disconnect the product from the power source before service and when replacing parts.
  • Unplug the product when not in use and before cleaning.
  • Children may not use the product without supervision.
  • If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
  • Place the product on a stable and flat surface.
  • Switch off and disconnect the product from the power source before you change accessories or approach parts that move in use.
  • Misuse of this product can result in serious injury.
  • Be careful when handling the blades.
  • Mind the cutting blades during cleaning.
  • Mind the cutting blades when you empty the bowl.
  • To prevent skin burns the ingredients must not be hotter than 80 °C.
  • Be careful when you pour hot liquid into the bowl or cup as it can be ejected out of the product due to a sudden steaming.
  • Do not switch on the product longer than 3 minutes to avoid overheating. A rest period of 1 minute is required after each full cycle.
  • Do not use aggressive chemical cleaning agents such as ammonia, acid or acetone when cleaning the product.

Installation

  • Check the contents of the package
  • Check that all parts are present and that no damage is visible on the parts. If parts are missing or damaged, contact the Nedis B.V. service desk via the website: www.nedis.com.

Before first use

1. Remove all packaging.

2. Clean all parts that come in contact with food before use.

Use

Using the product
  • Be careful when you pour hot liquid into the bowl or cup as it can be ejected out of the product due to a sudden steaming.
  • To prevent skin burns the ingredients must not be hotter than 80 °C.
  • Do not switch on the product longer than 3 minutes to avoid overheating. A rest period of 1 minute is required after each full cycle.

1.  Put the ingredients in the cup  A 2.

2. Place the lid  A 1 on  A 2.

3. Push  A 2 onto the motor unit  A 4.

4. Twist  A 2 clockwise to lock it in place.

5. Plug the power cable into a power outlet.

6. Use the control knob  A 5 to switch on the product.

  • With  A 5 you can alternate between different speed settings.

7. Turn  A 5 to “0” to switch off the product.

Maintenance

Cleaning the product
  • Unplug the product when not in use and before cleaning.
  • Do not use aggressive chemical cleaning agents such as ammonia, acid or acetone when cleaning the product.
  • Do not attempt to repair the product. If the product does not operate correctly, replace it with a new product.
  • All parts except for the motor unit are dishwasher safe.
  • Clean the motor unit with a damp cloth.

Warranty

Any changes and/or modifications to the product will void the warranty. We accept no liability for damage caused by improper use of the product.

This product is designed for private use (normal domestic use) only. Nedis is not responsible for wear, defect and/or damages caused by commercial use of the product.
