Product description

 The Nedis KAWP200BK is an electric waffle plate.

The waffle plate can make two waffles at a time.

This product is specifically intended for making waffles.

Safety instructions

WARNING

  • Only use the product as described in this manual.

  • Place the product on a stable and flat surface.
  • Make sure that the product can dissipate its heat.
  • Do not leave the product unattended when switched on.
  • Always close the product before connecting it to the power outlet.
  • Do not drop the product and avoid bumping.
  • This product may only be serviced by a qualified technician for maintenance to reduce the risk of electric shock.
  • Disconnect the product from the power outlet and other equipment if problems occur.
  • Do not expose the product to water or moisture.
  • Connect to a grounded outlet only.
  • Unplug the product when not in use and before cleaning.
  • Do not immerse the product in water.
  • Do not touch the hot parts of the product directly.
  • Do not use external timers or remote control systems to switch the product on or off.
  • Be careful when opening the lid, hot steam may escape.

Installation

  • Check the contents of the package
  • Check that all parts are present and that no damage is visible on the parts. If parts are missing or damaged, contact the Nedis B.V. service desk via the website: www.nedis.com.
First use

1. Remove all packaging.

2. Clean the casing,  A 6 and  A 7 with a damp cloth.

3. Place the product on a flat, level surface.

4. Slightly grease  A 6 and  A 7 with edible oil.

5. Plug  A 3 in a power outlet.

6. Unplug  A 3 after 10 minutes.

7. Allow the product to cool down.

8. Wipe  A 6 and  A 7 with a paper towel.

Use

Making waffles

1. Place the product on a flat, level surface.

2. Plug  A 3 into a power outlet.  A 6 and  A 7 start heating up.

  • A 1 switches on.
  • A 2 switches off when the product is ready to use.

3. Unlock  A 5.

4. Open  A 4.

5. Pour the waffle batter into the centre of  A 7 and close  A 4.

6. Lock  A 5.

  • A 2 lights up.

7. Open  A 4 when  A 2 switches off.

  • The cooking time is around 5 – 8 minutes.
  • Be careful when opening the lid, hot steam may escape.

8. Remove the waffles with a wooden or plastic spatula.

  • Do not use a metal tool to remove the waffles to avoid damaging the coating.

9. Apply new grease and waffle batter or unplug  A 3 to switch off the product.

Maintenance

  •  Do not use aggressive chemical cleaning agents such as ammonia, acid, acetone or gasoline when cleaning the product.
  • Clean the product regularly with a soft, clean, dry cloth. Avoid abrasives that can damage the surface.

Cleaning

  • Allow the product to cool down.

1. Make sure the product is unplugged.

2. Remove food residue with a paper towel.

3. Clean  A 6 and  A 7 with a soft damp cloth.

4. Dry with a soft cloth.

 Any changes and/or modifications to the product will void the warranty. We accept no liability for damage caused by improper use of the product.
