 The Nedis FCCM100FRD is an cotton candy maker that converts hard candy into cotton candy.

Intended use

The product is intended for indoor use only.

Safety instructions

  • Only use the product as described in this manual.
  • Do not use the product if a part is damaged or defective. Replace a damaged or defective device immediately.
  • Do not leave the product unattended when switched on.

  • Unplug the product when not in use and before cleaning.
  • Do not touch the hot parts of the product directly.
  • Never immerse the product in water or place it in a dishwasher.
  • Do not let the power cable touch hot surfaces.
  • Keep distance from flammable objects.
  • Place the product on a stable and flat surface.
  • Do not use a scouring pad on the product.
  • Only place the intended candies in the turn plate.
  • Do not pour water or any liquid into the turn plate.
  • Do not put fingers on or near the turn plate or heating element while the product is on, or while it is still hot.
  • Do not let unsupervised children or cognitively challenged individuals use the product.
  • Do not let persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge of how to operate, use the product.
  • Do not use any accessories that are not included.
  • Take caution when moving the product.
  • Make sure there are no unintended objects inside the heating element, before switching on the product.

Installation

  • Check the contents of the package
  • Check that all parts are present and that no damage is visible on the parts. If parts are missing or damaged, contact the Nedis B.V. service desk via the website: www.nedis.com.

Before first use

1. Remove all packaging.

2. Clean the product with a damp cloth.

3. Attach the turn plate  A 3 to the main unit  A 6 by pushing  A 3 down onto the stem  A 5.

  • Make sure that the grooves are properly aligned to fit over the pegs on  A 5.

4. Place the bowl  A 2 over  A 6 and turn counterclockwise until it locks into place.

5. Attach the rim  A 1 to  A 2 by snapping it in place.

Use

Operating the product

1. Place the product on a stable and flat surface.

2. Insert the plug into a power outlet.

  • Take caution for the hot parts.

3. Switch on the product and allow the product to heat up 5 minutes before adding hard candy.

  • Allow the product to heat up for 10 minutes when you want to use sugar.

4. Switch off the product.

  • Hard candies (sugar and sugar free) and sugar work the best to make cotton candy
  • The product does not work with ball-shaped candies, candies with hard sugar shells, gummy or chewy candies, sugar pressed candies, or instant drink mix packets.

5. Place two pieces of hard candy or one scoop of flavored sugar into  A 3.

  • Be careful, the turn plate is hot.
  • Evenly distribute the candy on either side of  A 3 for optimal results.

6. Switch on the product.

7. Insert a stick into  A 2 to collect the cotton candy. Rotate the stick with your fingers while circling  A 3.

8. Once cotton candy has collected on the stick, hold the stick in a horizontal position over  A 3 while still rotating the stick.

9. Continue rotating the stick and move from side to side to collect all the cotton candy.

10. Switch off the product or repeat steps 4 to 8 to make more cotton candy.

11. Unplug the product from the power outlet and allow it to cool down.

Maintenance

  •  Do not use aggressive chemical cleaning agents such as ammonia, acid or acetone when cleaning the product.
  • Unplug the product from the power outlet and allow it to cool down.

1. Remove  A 3 by holding both sides and pull it straight up.

2. Remove  A 2 by rotating it clockwise and lifting it from  A 6.

3. Clean the product regularly with a soft, clean, dry cloth. Avoid abrasives that can damage the surface.

4. Dry with a soft cloth.
