This document is the user manual and contains all the information for correct, efficient and safe use of the product.
This user manual is addressed to the end user. Read this information carefully before installing or using the product.

Product description
The Nedis VCCS400GN is a compact cordless vacuum cleaner.
It comes with an extra brush nozzle so it can be used as a handheld vacuum cleaner.
It is compact and lightweight to conveniently carry the vacuum cleaner.
Intended use
The product is exclusively intended as a vacuum cleaner for indoor use.
The product is not intended for professional use.
Any modification of the product may have consequences for safety, warranty and proper functioning.

Safety instructions
WARNING
- Only use the product as described in this manual.
- Only use the provided charger and charging base.
- Check if the voltage is consistent with the product before charging.
- Only charge the product if the plug is compatible with the power outlet. Do not use adapters. Do not change the plug.
- Do not use the product if a part is damaged or defective. Replace a damaged or defective device immediately.
- This product can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the product in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the product. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done by children without supervision.
- Do not immerse the product in water.
- Do not unplug the charger by pulling on the cable. Always grasp the plug and pull.
- Do not plug or unplug the charger with wet hands.
- Do not use the product while it is being charged.
- Do not put any objects into openings. Do not use with any opening blocked. Keep free of dust, lint hair etc.
- Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers and all body parts away from openings and moving parts.
- Do not vacuum hard or sharp objects such as glass nails, screws, coins etc.
- Do not vacuum hot coals, cigarettes, matches or any hot smoking or burning objects.
- Do not use without filters in place.
- Use extra care when vacuuming on stairs.
- Do not vacuum flammable or combustible materials (lighter fluid, gasoline, etc.) or use in the presence of explosive liquids or vapor.
- Do not vacuum toxic material (chlorine bleach, ammonia, drain cleaner, etc.)
- Do not use in an enclosed space filled with vapors given off by oil-based paints, paint thinner, moth proofing, flammable dust, or other explosive or toxic vapors.
- Only use on dry, indoor surfaces.
- Store your appliance indoor in a cool, dry area.
- Keep the end of the hose, wands and other openings away from your face and body.
- Do not use the cleaner to clean your pets or any animal.
- Keep the head (eyes, ear, mouth, etc.) away from the openings, when the cleaner is working.
- If you hear a squeaking sound and suction power is reduced, clear of blockages and clean the air filter.
- Do not open the battery pack or the motor area. There are no user serviceable parts inside.
Installation
- Check the contents of the package
- Check that all parts are present and that no damage is visible on the parts. If parts are missing or damaged, contact the Nedis B.V. service desk via the website: www.nedis.com.
Assembling the product (image B)

- Remove all packaging material, protective stickers and covers from the product.
1. Insert A15 into A14 , align the notches and twist clockwise until you hear a click.
2. Slide A 4 onto A 7 until you hear a click.
3. Slide A 3 or A21 onto A20 until you hear a click.
- You can also mount A 3 or A21 directly onto A 7.
4. Insert A22 into A19 until you hear a click.
Use
Charge the product (image C)

- The battery is only partially charged upon delivery. Fully charge the battery before first use.
1. Attach A 6 to the wall using 2 screws and wall plugs.
2. Connect A 5 to a power outlet.
3. Loop A 5 through the back of A 6.
4. Place the cleaner in A 6.
5. Insert A 5 into A13.
- A10 starts blinking to indicate the product is charging.
- When charging is complete, A10 lights up continuously.
- The three bars indicate the current battery level.
Using the product
1. Disconnect A 5 from A13.
2. Remove the product from A 6.
3. Press A11 to switch on the product.
4. Press A11 again to switch off the product when you are finished.
5. Place the product on A 6.
Emptying the dust collector
1. Release A17 while holding A16 above a dust bin.
- It is not necessary to disassemble the product to empty A16.
Maintenance
Cleaning the dust collector
1. Empty A16 above a dust bin.
2. Press A 9 to release A16.
3. Disassemble A14 – A16.
4. Rinse A14 – A17 with clean water.
5. Let all parts dry completely before reassembling the product.
- The filters should be cleaned every 6 months or as soon as suction power is weakened.
- The filters should be checked regularly for signs of damage, preferably after each cleaning task.
- The filters must be replaced immediately if they are damaged.
- Always disconnect the vacuum cleaner from the power outlet before checking the filters.

Any changes and/or modifications to the product will void the warranty. We accept no liability for damage caused by improper use of the product.
